Want a quick vacation to the Mayan jungles? Then it is time for Mayan Prophecies: Cursed Island. You and your two male companions have been shipwrecked on an island, where you have discovered a wrecked Spanish galleon full of stolen Mayan relics. There are many angry natives as well as a few thieves on this island. Avoid the volcanoes and wild animals to restore the destroyed stone idols and pacify the Mayans. Good Hint And Skip buttons, and varied, interesting puzzles. You may choose to play Mahjong rather than find hidden objects. You have both a Map and a Strategy Guide, as well as your Journal, to help you solve puzzles. There are Morphing Objects to discover, and also Hidden Birds to collect. Cheaper than airline travel, and more fun than many of the other games. We would hurry to collect this relic!

The story is interesting and the graphics are good, but sometimes our progress is lost when we save the game. Also, we wish the designers would stop proselytizing their religious beliefs. Comparing Heaven and hell to a pair of pliers every time we collect an item is beoming annoying.

Beautiful graphics, nicely done. Collecting tropical birds in this one.. Has a great transporting map! Always a plus.. To save your game go to the main menu & hit exit. Otherwise you may lose all your progress.

We found this with just enough difference that it was a break from the crowd of other games. The Map was a big help! Loved the scenery and the island views. We thought it was easy to follow but we skipped a lot of the mini puzzles because we lose patience with a lot of mini games for all HOPs. Cant subtract for that. We enjoyed this very much and now we will try more of this series!

This is a continuation of the first Mayan game but also plays as a stand alone. For fans of the first one you will not be disappointed in this installment. For those new to the series be prepared to be delighted! Long game, every scene well drawn and able to be enlarged. HO and puzzles are well done. Collect hummingbirds and morphing objects. Well worth the money!

This game is excellent. Graphics are detailed with many details. If you love HOSs and can overlook historical inaccuracies, you will find the game entertaining. Great map.

When is the next in your series going to be available? Want it now!

We’ve been playing a lot of HOs while hunkering down during the pandemic. EleFun games are some of the best and, like this one, are interesting, operate smoothly have unique mini games and HOPs. Im always delighted to stumble on from this developer/producer.

We could say a few things that would improve but there was a lot of improvements since release. We say go for it, buy it good to go. Good game to pass time.

Loved the first one, loved this one. Had no issues. Look forward to the sequel. Thanks BF.

We haven’t finished the whole game but enjoying it. You fixed the lag between scenes, well done. The game and story are even better as the puzzles and hops are. Map works beautifully, too. Another great game.

Good game. We enjoyed this one.

We’re not always impressed with the quality of sequels following excellent game. This one does not disappoint however enjoyed it just as thoroughly as we did the first.

This game was a fun adventure. Beautiful graphics, story exciting, and gameplay was smooth with a fast hint button.

We like playing these type of games. We even purchased this game however it would not let us choose one of the items in the hop game. We tried everything we could think of but nothing worked. We deleted the game and reloaded it and now it wants us to pay again. Not gonna happen.

The hop games are not too easy, and they are often enough to keep interest.

This was a good solid game, but we can’t give it a full 5 stars. It had the basics. The graphics were beautiful Mayan graphics, and the cut-scenes were decent. It is an archaeological adventure where you must return an artifact to stop a volcano and evil spirits. You collect morphing objects and hummingbirds along the way, which since we hate collections doesn’t matter to me; just a distraction for our gameplay. It was a long enough game, with a bonus chapter. Inventory was labeled and there was a teleport map with active tasks marked. Of course there was a strategy guide and a non-spoiler hint system. There was a journal as well. The game played smoothly; it wasn’t glitchy although some people said they had issues. One of our issues was that there were way too many HO scenes, but at least you had the option to play mahjong instead. The puzzles and mini-games were fairly standard. Our biggest problem was that loading between locations was very slow, so we deducted a star. The game seemed a bit dated, but after playing games from developers such as EIPIX or MAD Head, nothing will compare. But at least there were no RATS! We were a bit bored because it’s tedious when loading is not immediate. But we must say, BigFish, you have been bringing out a lot more games at a quicker rate, and for that we are grateful! They have also been less glitchy and for the most part good games. We are looking forward to the new Amaranthine game and the one that just came out today. Dream Team, you play faster than we do! Any worries? And you know what worries is a euphemism for! Snooper, we hope you are doing ok! We haven’t seen reviews from you on the last couple of games. Not from Bunkie either. Nambr and Dracyy, please can you be on RAT patrol in the meantime? Thanx a million! Once again, we hope the team knows how much we care about them and appreciate them! What a wonderful group of people! As always we send to you all from Lynxie!

This is a sequel to the first Mayan Prophecies, and starts right after the first one ends, which we love. You have hummingbirds to collect in each scene by tapping a statue and then catching the bird. In the first MP, the hummingbirds were in the hops, but you found them the same way. We really preferred to find them in the hops as opposed to in each scene, because, like the first MP, you also find morphing objects in each scene. So, two things per scene and nothing in the hops? Kinda repetitive. There are 40 scenes in all, and each hop is played twice. We’ve decided we like that. The length is average. Hops are all list with a bit of interaction. Mini games are easy to medium, and there are some creative ones. Very enjoyable and we look forward to playing the next one!

Very enjoyable game with good hidden object scenes and puzzles. Liked the storyline, map and morphing objects are always fun. Only complaint is the time between scenes is way too long. It really interrupts the flow. Hopefully, a sequel will be released and the lag time between scenes will get resolved. Thank You Big Fish, KdBoots.

If you liked the first one you will love this one also or if you have not played the first this is also a stand alone games there so much to see and do there is a good map and hints you are collecting 40 humming birds again and 40 morphing objects inventory items are labeled we have taken off one star because the HOS so far some items we had to tap multiple times to get the item sometimes making us think we were tapping the wrong thing but finally got it other than that it’s great game.

Good artwork, good info, a bit confusing until we got the map. Lots of easer eggs. We like the choice between HOG and Mahjong.

We love this sequel and look forward to another! It was long and interesting with an actual story line that made sense. Would have given it five stars but at times it seemed to move a bit slow with a lot of HOAs that wee fairly simple, but at the same time we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend!

We liked it, just was expecting same quality as first Mayan game and it didn’t get there. It was nice and long with plenty to do, but the graphics weren’t as sharp or as beautiful. Has all the bells and whistles: teleporting map, good hint button, varied games and HOSs, morphing objects and cute hummingbird collectibles. Certainly not a bad game, just not a spectacular one.

We like this continuation of the story. When we first opened it, we thought we were back in the previous game, but there are differences. Our biggest problem with this game is moving objects–like picking up the charcoal or attaching the wings. It doesn’t respond well. After a few tries, we switch to the other option.

Like the puzzles , graphics and voiceover.

If you like a ton of hos then you’ll enjoy this. We prefer more puzzles and the adventure more so we got a bit annoyed seeing a hos at every corner. However, the game played well, we enjoyed the puzzles allot and the map was perfect so overall it’s a fun game. We can’t really discourage others based on to many hos if the game played nicely.a few glitches as others noted with items being difficult to pick up at times. We still would recommend it.

If you have a lot of time and like Hops a lot you will probably like this game. Has good map, voice overs and is a continuation of the other game. Your still looking for hummingbirds and cursed objects but they are not in the Hop’s this time they are scattered in little statues along the way There are 40 of the hummingbirds. It was a long long game because of all the Hops and long loading times especially near the end. A few small mice in some of the hops. Most of them you could verily recognize as mice no rats but LOTS OF SNAKES. Everywhere you looked there were snakes. We liked the last game a lot better but didn’t rate it because It was on our Mac and we wasn’t giving BF five dollars just to give our opinion. But if you keep buying games they won’t let you try out first their going to start that with all games. A big shout out to all and lol and prayers to all. Snooper-158ps we did play this game on our iPad and had no problems.

We were doing really good and enjoying the game until we got to the part where you have to make a doll. We made the doll no prob, but no matter what we do we can’t pick it up. Anyone have any suggestions?

It’s okay but trial is over too soon.

Enjoying the game. Haven’t been playing long, so we are reserving the fifth star for later. Interesting story, puzzles, hops, morphing objects, and the hummingbirds are cool.

Fun. Not much on the hop. Double ones won’t stick.

An HOS lurks around every corner.

Seems dated and not all that exciting.

This is an older game and not up to Big Fish Game’s standards. The graphics are not that great. There is a HO in almost every scene. The HO’s are glitchy but there is a Mahjong option. The mahjong puzzles are easy and you get through them quickly. The map is good. This would be a good game for 3.99 but we wouldn’t recommend paying more for it, which we did.

The game is a little slow. We have only been playing for about 3 minutes and you want us to rate the game. Not yet, ok !

Seriously so disappointed lately.

Love the game got a good part through it most was very easy ,too easy but got to 1ho game and clicked on the "comb" 30 times and hit hint and we were right on location but got red x each time and can’t advance without it. Fix the bug,,,would be a 4.

Very difficult to combine objects in HOGs (the chalk to finish the drawing, repair the broken jar). Had to tap multiple times to select hidden objects. You can skip the HOGs and play Mah Jong instead (ridiculously easy). Blurry graphics. The positives: quickly charging Hint button and interactive map. Find hidden humming birds (difficult to see since the graphics are not well-drawn) and other weird objects. We will not purchase this game.

Graphics are so so, fun concept, lots of HO, but downside of lots of glitches with difficulty picking item, you have to try multiple times even though you have the correct item. We were unable to finish the game as we could not pick up required item, hint circled item we’ve tried multiple multiple times no luck. Very disappointing.

This seems very dated, though it has a map with teleport, which seems advanced for this particular game. But the HO scenes and other items you need to pick up, are very annoying. For items you need to pick up, you have to touch them only once, then touch where you want them to go. The hidden objects have items that need to be used together, but if you dont bring them exactly to a particular spot, it wont take. We find that annoying. The humming birds are odd since you dont see them until you touch them. And other items need to be touched, also. The scenes are very cluttered with plants and items everywhere. It takes a lot of tapping to find out what you need. We’re not impressed by this game.

Can’t rate it not enough of the puzzle.

Very difficult to properly place objects in the hops, such as the broken pot piece, slingshot part. We gave up while trying to finish drawing the sun. Yuck!

Game frozen after purchasing full version.
