This was everything we expected and more. We found this app from an add on YouTube (we think?) and did not know exactly what to expect. It sounded like one of those choose your own adventure books we read as a kid, which it is, but holy smokes it is way more engaging and fun than those because of the apps ability to also make it like an old school CPU D&D game. We have the fight the urge to literally play this game all day long.
We have not read this type of book since we were a kid and forgot how much fun it is. Thankfully the author is great, story takes a lot of unexpected twists and turns. Not a simple story and chapters dont always end well which keeps us reading.
Some coworkers recommend this game. At first we were apprehensive because, lets face it the overall feel is straight out of the 90s. Im happy to say that we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. 10/10 recommend. Especially if youre a D&D fan.
First of all, great! We paid for the full version, well worth it! But why did the illustrations stop partway through Rogues Choice? We were disappointed.
This has been such a great series and we are so glad we keep checking in for new updates. But we must ask… Will there be another chapter for Ranger's Choice.

Im new to DND and have been looking for a way to do it solo that isnt crazy overwhelming and this is great.
We just played one chapter as rogue. Our only problem was some of the words we never heard of so we had to look up some words. Dont change that because its expanding our vocabulary. We learned by looking these words like mead and billowing. Its just when traveling we dont carry a dictionary with us so we basically had to use context clues to make sense of what we were reading but we might buy another dictionary for our travels to work and back. We recommend this game for people who like to imagine what theyre reading. Im going to be playing this for awhile.
This a unique game in a sea of imitation. The story is old school and engrossing. The choices are well thought out and meaningful. The game itself is the best of its kind Ive encountered.
We had no expectations when we started playing. The story is fun, interesting without taking itself too seriously, and well written. Ads are reasonably spaced. We like being able to spend our luck points to regain health and mana. The ability to go back to checkpoints or specific choices at the cost of luck is nice. Recommend.
Absolutely love it. But, um, can you finish Rangers Choice? Its been awhile.
The story is much better than we would have anticipated.
When we were a child in the mid 1980s, our Twin & we collected the CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE books! If you did too, this is perfect for you. Enjoy.

This is a lot of fun, however, we cant start the third chapter, it immediately crashes the app when trying to start.

Im not going to lie when we started reading through this game we didnt believe itd be this in depth. But we can tell theres much more lore to be found because of how many chapters there are. The combat choices are nice and realistic for something in fantasy. Also not to mention the illustrations of the scenarios are really good, its easy to tell the artists were dedicated enough to draw great pieces. Overall we have to give this chapter a 5 star rating. Thank you Dungeons and Decisions for giving us a new world to explore.
We found the characters to be well developed and true to their roles. The premise and workd building was exceptionally well done . The alternate chouces ate fun but it would be amazing if you could have a more dynamic choice option that evovles the story in substantial ways . We recognize you would literally have to write multiple stories to di this so it may not be practical with organic authors.

Addicting in so much fun to have a game, but we can play with VoiceOver and share with others.
It is a simple straightforward game that seems similar to most story games. There are funny jokes that a DM might make during some of the story telling. Pictures are in some parts to help with the experience. We read the first chapter of the wizard option in like an hour because it felt like DND in a story book way.
Really happy with the game, stumbled upon it and after the second chapter, we paid to avoid the ads. We didnt know we would enjoy a fantasy style story/choice, but we dig it. This has got us into reading also which is a big plus. Thanks DG.

A choose your own adventure with a delightful and interesting storyline! The verbiage and sly jokes had us grinning throughout. Highly recommend.
Was looking for a good, free text-based story and this is exactly that. Ive finished the first two chapters and the story is really enjoyable with both lighthearted and dark comedy, thrilling and terrifying moments often putting you near death, and the ability to go back and try things different. And its all free! Highly recommend.

We used to be an avid reader when we were younger but now with audiobooks we just usually would rather listen. This interactive story has a decent assortment of choices and feels like it would be worth some money to forgo the ads. But since you can choose to go it all for free, it should appeal to anyone.

The adventures are fun and include an interesting fantasy world. Unlike most of these games, it doesnt include a strict pay wall after the first chapter, and we appreciate that.

For all the world these seem to be edited and proofread fantasy stories. They have compelling characters, good dialogue, fun twists and surprises. Where cliches appear, as they must with this genre, they are winked at in a playful way. The experience is like reading an absorbing book that challenges you to a little game periodically. Whats not to like.

This is intriguing and intelligent and easy to navigate. Great graphics but not too much. Feels like books of old where one can imagine and truly get into the role playing.
