We played through without ever having to purchase additional coins or whatever. There are ads every so often if you replay a chapter, but they are not too intrusive. The story is good with twists and turns and many different characters. Im also glad it brings light to the issue of modern human slavery via sex trafficking. If youre looking for a good action/slight romance give this a shot.
*Edited to add: we just finished this book and am so sad that its over! This was so awesome, the book was incredibly written and we enjoyed getting to make decisions through it! We had no problem with the coin system. We earned enough coins as we were reading the story and earning achievements to continuously be able to move through the story without having to buy coins or watch ads to get more! Unbelievably well done!! Ive only played the first chapter so far, but we enjoyed it so much! We played Detectives Choice many years ago and it was awesome, so we downloaded this one (made by the same developers) and it is awesome! These must take a lot of work, so thank you to the developers of this app! We love it.
We really enjoyed this. It was fast-paced and exciting. Of all of your game-books Ive read, this is probably one of our favorites. It really deserves a 6/5, but it doesnt let us do that. Thanks for the entertainment.
In which we learn that prayer can work miracles, but you get faster and more reliable results with automatic weapons and plenty of ammo. The riff on 1950s-style sexual morality (for Christian women only, of course men have a different standard) was a little unexpected. 3 stars for the message against global sex trafficking, but thats not enough to get us to buy the sequel, which seems to be all about how Hillary in 2016 was evil incarnate.
We just wanted to take a second to let the developers know that this game has some bugs. There is a bug preventing players to play the next chapter at the end of chapter 6, and there is a bug add a point in chapter 7 preventing you from continuing to play the game. We do not want to say where at so as to avoid spoiling the game for anybody who has not played it yetnnn.
But by chapter 6 youre riddled with ads everywhere and cant actually play the story. Some ads didnt return us to the game.
Why u gotta force us to pay to read why not do the ads for coins like ur other stories this is the best one yet and u ruin it with the crap coin system.
These are fun and you can spend as much time or as little time as you have.
In this game you play CAI agent Jake Noble. We finally found a game we like to play.
No one reads books anymore. Truly a shame in our opinion. This gives a way to blend modern tech with an interesting storyline.
We like the story and the characters but we dont like the coin system because it cost so much coins sometimes to move on to the next chapter we just hope the system gets refined so it doesnt cost as many coins to move on.
