We havent played this game in a while but we just went back to find it because it genuinely is one of the best games Ive ever played we cant express it enough we love this game.
This is the BEST of the builder type games Ive played. The throwback pixel graphics brings the innocence back to video games! If you dont over spend into too deep of debt- you really dont have to wait long to build stuff. Unlike some Tycoon games where you need to spend real money and wait overnight for game credits- you pay one fee upfront WITH NO IN APP PURCHASES and theres no prolonged waiting. You get a real sense of accomplishment with so many things to do you wont get bored. Its really addicting and we highly recommended it.
Wonderful example of Kairosoft's expertise in tycoon games. We loved playing this game and want more, though we understand this game might not receive updates any time soon, and that's fine. It was a great use of time, and we highly recommend it.
Its a great game, but only problem is when we build a hallway. The build menu says hallway cost 1000 but when we build it takes 10000 out of our money. Which is correct.
So yeah, we built our mall fairly well, but we keep losing money despite combos. Items cost too much to build and we dont understand how to run a fair. No where in the instructions does it tell you how to do it. Every time we try to place it over sections of stores, it wont take it saying no boxes available. Im assuming they mean the boxes hanging off the stores but we guess not it doesnt work.
Move Feature bugged. Stuck in place.
This game got boring after a while so we recommend you dont get it.
This is our all time favorite. The videogame one is a close second followed by cruise ship story. Great time killer.
Best company when it comes to pixel games.After they say the games over you can still play and unlock more stores and items. You can play this for hours. 100% Best Game and App.
So we're an avid simulation game player and we used to love sim tower when we were younger so we decided to give this game a try. Well it wasn't very long before we were completely hooked on it. Mega mall story is a wonderful tower/store simulation game. There are a large variety of stores and facilities that you can build and many different types of customers to serve. The graphics are cute and colorful and game's UI is very easy to use. We've been playing it for hours at a time. One again Kairo has delivered a delightfully complex yet easy to understand sim game that you can play over and over again and without those infuriating in-app purchases that most games require you to buy to fully enjoy the experience. Well worth the $5 price. Our only wish is that the devs would add some more content in an update. Thanks guys.
Very cute and fun game with good replayability. The only suggestion we have is that rival malls should not appear so often after youve completed all investment plans as thats the only way you can get rid of them besides waiting for two years (in the game) for them to go bankrupt. Other than that, Mega Mall Story is a solid app.
Many hours of fun. Very in depth. It's not one of those builder games where you have to wait for things, it's actually pretty fast paced. The amount of content makes it so that you can't finish the game in a day.

We love this game and kairosoft!! Although their apps are pricy which is a minor problem to the game… The game is mostly depended on by patience which is alright. We love the art style and the game really hyped us up sometimes. Although it's a bit pricy, we would recommend. :).
Hallways cost like 16,000$ and increasing for each one we place down, when it should be 1,000$ and we were wondering why we were doing so bad, that's why! It's a really great game but Jesus you need to fix it, it really slows down game progress like a lot.
We love this game. We can play this for hours on end, but there are some issues that need to be fixed. First, the mall rankings. Before the most recent update, we could easily rank #1 so we could get the casino. Now, no matter how much money we rack up with any of our stores(after continuously using hold sale every month) we always rank #5. We even got close to making $10,000,000 and we STILL got #5! We don't know if it's the way we're playing or if it's a bug, but it needs to be fixed. Second, the cost of placing different shops, facilities, hallways, etc. Before the update, if say a hallway costed $1000 to make, that's what it costed. Now, it's far more expensive. Let's say if we make 10 hallways, it doesn't cost $10,000 like it used to. It's more like $250,000 or some other ridiculous amount like that, and the cost INCREASES as we make more floors! This is the same with making shops, adding facilities, etc. We love this game, we really do. It's a nice little distraction for us when we need it. But these bugs need to be fixed.
This was a 5 star game until the 2016 update. We don't like the unnecessary lighting of the sun. We don't like the little hand and we don't like how everything speeds up at the end. Please change back.
You know what was fun? Unlocking each store 1 by 1. Now that we've cleared the game, everything is unlocked already. That's not fun to us. Could you at least include the option for a fresh start please? We paid for this app, so we might as well play it.
Before the 2016 update, it was perfect. Now it lags because of all the unnecessary lighting and weather effects, and you've changed the points at which you get stuff like the cinema. Please change it back.

We absolutely love this game! It is so fun and addictive. However, there needs to be more! More stores, space, projects…because once you buy all the stores and finish all of the projects the game gets a little boring. Please add more.
Had lots of fun with this, but we feel like there should have been at least 1 more mall expansion to give you a little more room to grow.
Game is fun but now all screen taps are barely responsive. We have to tap screen multiple times to register one tap.
Such an amazing game, have been playing it for over 3 years with long breaks in between, and have restarted several times, it's addicting and it deserves the money.
We give major props to kairosoft for making this game. So many iOS developers make games that have pointless wait times. You can't play clash of clans, you check in on it occasionally for ten minutes of fun. This game is great that it removes pointless wait times.
Absolutely love this game. The concept is great, the design is adorable, and we can play it for hours on end. We personally love simulation games, and this is one of the best we've come across on mobile. Highly recommended and worth the price, like many kairosoft games are.

This game represents a classic mall simulation in which one may have the freedom the be creative but still have a challenge. One of our favorite games made by Kairosoft of ALL TIME.

Nice to see Kairosoft updating their apps to work with newer models! You wouldn't know it based off their app updates which usually only say bug fixes, but they have been going back and updating older games.

Kairosoft games really are their own type of game. We love it! Especially the interface and controls of their games. When we get cut or scratched we bleed kairo blood! Edit: that'd be so cool you could see the inside of the rival mall :3 we wonder what the dying rival mall looks like inside >;3 Edit2: so in our third multi-million game (we cant tell you how many times we played without getting to a million, then one day we reahed new heights) we initially planned for our mall to fail…until we were doing even better than we could ever imagine! Unlocking even MORE shops!!! MU-WAHAHAHA $210 MILLION by the 17 year and the 10 month! Muwahaha! Our 5 rivals so far didn't stand a chance! Every single one of them beaten down to the ground and crushed before their first year in business is up! We are a monster! Aahhh the number of retail jobs we must've destroyed! ;) their profits going down by $2,000,000 each month!!! They can't win! Meanwhile, making up to $5 million a month! And on average $3-4 million a month! This game is so addicting! Rivals Fun land: Crushed in Less than 5 months Bargain house: Dead in less than 8 months Mach Land: Blighted in less than 4 months Mach Station: Forgotten in less than 1 year Crazy Station: Demolished! Demolished we tellz yah! In approximately 1 year Although we're sure there are people out there making 12 million a month, so we're really trying not to brag…probably failing at it miserably, as there is always someone more skilled. So we dont think we're the best, we guarantee you we're not the best. But we are pretty good >;P Heres one hint: if you want to kill off your rivals and show no mercy, invest in the neighborhoods they have the highest share in, upgrade services and quality. But this is easily figured out so im sure you got this mang >:P The best part about these games is the music. We notice the music in every game is very simple. Genius. And for a company of only NINE employees we must say it only exposes their genius even more. Mega Mall Story is possibly one of the best ever. We also love the creativity of kairosoft games. From the types of services you can provide in each shop to the types of plans you can use in the nippon cafe game. And the customers you can get. XD Mean seriously! (SPOILER ALERT) A flying saucer?! XD we friggin LOVE IT! We cant go into a mall now without the music in our head xP. This game is more than worth the money!! Buy it now. Or we will run your local mall out of town as well >;) and you will have no choice but to visit our museum, and our exhibit area.

This game is really fun! We have Pocket Academy, Mega Mall, and Pocket League. We think we're gonna buy Venture Towns later. We love Kairosoft! Well worth the price really addicting.
If you are a big fan of Kairosoft, chances are you have already bought this game. If you're on the fence and not sure if its worth the cash then here's our thoughts. There seem to be two different types of Kairosoft games. City builder type and Dev story type. Both we love, but the latter is def our pref. This game would be the latter also. It's cute and charming. Watching those little people running around buying 16 lattes and then 12 salmon steaks just never gets old. It's all about leveling up your stores and making combos which anyone familiar with these titles already understands. It's got a decent replay value due to NewGame+ There have been a couple duds, even though still kinda fun, that don't compare to previous titles. MegaMall is far from it.
