I Think I might got the solution.
It is not about the starting position of the levers.
I think it’s about the past lever.
So the first one is four steps up.
After that you take the fourth lever (count three like the arrows).
From that position where the first lever is you go two down.
Then you go one step right.
From that position where lever number 4 is you go one step up…
Then you go two levers left.
From that position where lever 5 is you go two down…
And so on…

wmaneker: I just brute-forced the draw bridge solution.
120 possible combinations. Moved them all to the up position. Then just clicked through them all, rightmost one at a time through its cycle of options, move the one to the left down, through the rightmost cycle of options again….took maybe a minute.
Thank goodness for the green light.
Rough clue, particularly with the easily forgettable initial setting.
