A Glimpse into Metro 2033 – Tactical RPG Wars

In a dungeon and don’t know what to do?

Congratulations! You just downloaded the coolest post-apocalyptic game based on the novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky – “Metro 2033”. Fortunately, the mankind managed to survive after a nuclear war, and now the gloomy Metro tunnels have become a new home for everyone.

Well, fighting for life underground is not an easy task, especially when the whole world has become the most radioactive place. Your main mission is to protect the bases and subway stations from terrible mutants and looters.

LOCATIONS & COALITIONS

The game takes place in post-apocalyptic Moscow – in the terrible tunnels of Moscow subway. Sometimes the locations can make you confused and teem with scary monsters. There are some strong audio effects and noises, and often you will have to rely only on them to find a way out.

STRATEGIC SURVIVAL BATTLES

You will take part in battles, investigations and trips to the Earth surface. The only treasures in this strategy game are patrons, fighters and gas masks (they should be handled really carefully, because only they will save you from poisoned air). While defending your station, you can also become a kind of a diplomat – it’s always better to come an agreement with mutants, right?

PvP MODE: PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

Relax with your friends and check whose combat strategy is better! Whose soldiers and warriors are stronger?

  • Free turn-based strategy;
  • Post-apocalyptic universe in Moscow Metro;
  • Defense of station from scary mutants and bandits;
  • Negotiations with leaders of underground coalitions;
  • Take care of the patrons and gas masks;
  • Create your own army of first-class fighters;
  • PvP mode for playing with friends.

This is a great game …. It has interesting story lines/plot twists…. Easy to play yet hard to master challenge…. It combines empire building/action/strategy/old school feel for a well rounded experience – we would recommend this to anyone.

Done this four time so Ill keep it short great game but maybe you could do a metro game like company of heroes we would go 9nto greater details but since we done this 4 time and we keep accidentally exiting the write a review so here what you can do to have it feel like the metro. 1 the stations could have people like civilians so the station feels lived in and the stations could be in line on the side of each other and you could have little tunnels to connect to stations on your side like if its on your right and your station could come under attack from the mole looking things dont know how to spell them so you have to have some units at your station to protect it and if the attack of the enemies stations are hard to breach you could go onto the surface to flank them but it would be a huge risk you could loss those units on the surface to watchmen, and demons you could add some more mutated animals on the surface and we leave you to do the strengths of each factions here are some the reich, the reds, Hanza, the spartan order. Oh and you could encounter bandits in the side tunnels of the man tunnels or with stations they have captured.

Great game but it still has a tendency to crash at random times.

We have bad luck upgrading our phone and losing this game so this is the third time we’ve had to restart it. It is very interesting and you have to really plan but the payoff can be very good.

This game is fun and the only complaint that we have is that leveling up your units can be tedious, at times. Despite this, its still a cool game where you essentially get to play as a new faction, in the Metro universe. We hope that this game will continue to be updated, in the future.

Hey can you make more games like this? Its fun and we want to see more games made by you guys.

More, please! Amazing. You could make this a full blown table top RPG or a war game. It is awesome as is though!

The only major complaint we have is that it can get a little grindy. Other than that, if there was a mode to play as any of the factions or starting off as one of the independent stations would be cool.

Great game , fun to play, we enjoy the competitive spirit as well, we used to be able to play it offline before we registered our account now its strictly online and now we can only play it when we get to work, do you think theres a capability of it becoming a duo use? It would be perfect if you could play it at anytime with or without internet. Graphics are excellent n we just recently noticed the sounds that the characters make when playing the game and they sound great and funny at the same time we love it. We wish we would make more games like this!

Dont get us wrong the gameplay is good and fun but we have a power problem so to say. Once you get out of the tutorial area if you will and conquer your line you cant really expand after that. We tried taking on the mutants near the bottom but have been beaten out of there. We then tried taking smaller factions but couldnt because the game would not let us. In our opinion its as if the game kind of forces you to buy heros just so can continue your war path. And the enemy factions have way to many heroes or are to high leveled especially the super mutants. We would like a feature where you can train your units and they level up at 1/3 the speed.

Cant access eu server where our saves are located and when we try ru server no option can even be clicked on.

After years its game still hasnt changed, the attacks are ridiculous they never stop, the game wants you to get better troops but we can never save enough to do so, within 40 turns youre just stuck constantly gaining a station and losing 2, getting one guy to lv6 and then he dies and once the cultist get reinforcements they start attacking every couple of turns too. We cant afford to get higher ranked troops so we have to buy them from hansa, but they always die to rats before they can level up a single time, eventually we got so frustrated we send everything we had to the cultists thinking at least once they are dead we can rebuild. Oh but little did we know they have fallout super mutants with OP powers. We didnt ask for war with the cultists, they dont stop attacking, you cant make peace, and they have op units you can never hope to take out until you are well developed, the stations on the way to them are all tiny and cant build the defenses they need to hold the line its a terrible terrible gameplay loop and Im glad we’ve never spent money on this game please dont bother with it its just frustrating and annoying at best.

We really enjoy the game and have put a lot of time into it but we spent roughly 15k in coins leveling up our characters for the game to freeze causing us to close the app. When we reloaded our save, neither our characters were leveled nor did we have our coin we had spent.

It says Single player and it wants us to register, to create a new account and password just to play a game on our phone. TOTAL CRAP.

Pay to win. After turn 20, you get slammed by everyone and run out of money. Just dont bother. It feels like the game isnt supported anymore. Id rather have fun and want to explore new features cause we love the game. But sadly we spent money so we feel that in order to get our investment back we need to play a bunch.

Loved the game and even spent money on it which normally we dont do made an account and all yet now we cant access it because we forgot what server we were on on our phone that broke. Do like other devs and secure it to Apple or google because you just lost our patronage completely.

So Im a big fan of the metro series and we read that a metro game was on mobile. So we downloaded it and to be honest it isnt the worst strategy game out there. But we have our complaints. 1st of all its has a steep learning curve that makes us want to stick knifes in our eyes sometimes. Hears an example when a unit dies you usually buy a new one but it always starts as a level one which it is standards for most games like this but there is no way to train there level without combat and combat is very unforgiving and even fleeing can kill your guys. Heres a solution have separate building were you can train people. 2nd of all it has micro transactions which we think is a sin. If you removed it and just put a price on the game we think you would get more money that putting a paywall for basically winning the game. 3rd and final it needs new graphics. Even for a mobile game it has less than impressive graphics. And we think you should rework the metro map to have color and 3D aspects. Like when units move on the map there should be a cart and cart noises instead of the units just making a sound. So we really hope you take some of these ideas for consideration. But the one we most want is the building that trains people.

Hidden gem games very fun and challenging.

We started playing this gane a few weeks ago and mostly the story is pretty good and we manage to finish the main campaign and the prequel, the prequel really gets into detail the rise of the cultist now they should get another campaign focusing on mikhael korbutz. Keep up the good work and add more resurgents if you can!

Great Story Line And Immersive Gameplay. Very Challenging At The Beginning, Though :(

Fun, challenging, needs more of a tutorial. PLEASE LET US CHOOSE OUR FACTION.

Putting a fix rate of getting coins instead if randomizing them will improve the game greatly and we have played since the game came out. On multiple accounts.

Wonderful game and we love the way it plays. This is the type of turn-based strategy we’ve desired for a long time. The game all around is great, we just have one thing we would like to ask the creators of this game. Please create a mechanic to play as any of the factions in the Metro, that would make this game god tier. And adding a multiplayer game on top of that? Then youve hit AAA type material here. Keep up the good work, and we highly suggest this game for anybody, new or veteran to the franchise. One small complaint is that the translations are a little off here or there but it does not hinder the gameplay.

Yeah we play to play a bit but every time we go to buy anything it closes the app entirely and it gets annoying please fix this.

If we could get past this part the game will be fine and we can play this awesome game. It crashes every once in a while which wouldnt be so bad since it has two auto saves and your own save choice every turn but since we can never ever load in, it makes it impossible to play. But other than that its an absolute phenomenal game.

We have a xr and sometimes the buttons are covered But we can still click them this is our favorite game we enjoy playing and spending also you should do more events and, maybe modify the other factions to move a lot more and fend for themselves thank you and have a good day!

Guys could you just update screen format for iPhoneX.

Let us start by saying, this game is wonderful, you get the freedom to do what you want, how you want. But this feature can be the games own disadvantage. We try to complete the story however the first mission you are given(find the missing research team) is near impossible for us to complete. Maybe our game is bugged but we are on day 660 and we have yet to find the first team. You dont get much information as to where to find this team and the one piece of info we found doesnt help us much. This one and only fact is our one dislike about this game. If the devs could get back to us and help us progress in the game, that would be great and we could write a full review for the entire game. : , , , , . . , , ( ), . , , 660- , . , , , , . – . , , .

Id like to give a review on how this games plays. However we dont actually know because we cant get past the initial syncing with server screen.

As a huge metro fan, Id love nothing more than to play this and enjoy it, but we cant even login let alone play. Every time we try to play, it either doesnt synchronize to the servers, or it crashes when we try to login with Facebook. We do hope that it is fixed soon so we may play the game, Im really looking forward to it.

The game is fun, however, it freezes just after using purchased coins, then after reloading the game the coins are gone, but what they were spent on was not there. We were also charged three times for one purchase of coins, and after freezing and reloading, ALL of the coins are gone. Very clever way to ensure you have to pay to win, as well as ensure you cannot win. We will be disputing the charges in hopes of getting our money back.

Now must be online to play. Killed the game for us. Do not want to always be online. Ironic given their statement of single player is NOT dead.

It was so bad we wish we could give it less than 1 star!

We cant register. We’ve use a lot of different names. It always says Special symbols, spaces and obscene language cant be used. Please fix this.

We love strategy games, a lot. And this one looks right up our alley. But it wont let us play because Im not registered. And it wont let us register because No special symbols, spaces, or obscene words are allowed. This is bull. Our username would be Koolkid692. We’ve tried all sorts of variations, with no spaces, no numbers, etc. Nothing works. Ill keep trying, and if something works, Ill remove and edit this review. Same goes if you guys fix this. Please do. This game looks awesome and we want to play it.

This is a unique game that rewards diligent play. However, we find that the time spent figuring out the UI behaviors and mastering its controls is worth the effort — to the point where you can decide if you want to spend cash to keep playing. Because that’s the thing, here. If you want to succeed, by which we mean "keep playing," you will have to spend real money for game coins. For everything. Want stronger characters? What type? Because each type offers its own benefits, and there are quite a few types! Want to change the generic user_id# assigned to your account? That’ll cost you, too. We much prefer two other cost-basis models to this: either ask us to pay for the core game so can we play it freely, and then offer expansions for new stories/factions/zones (this gives us time to get invested in our team); or try the Legendary Game of Heroes approach where everything is available and just takes time, or money if you’re in a hurry. There are all kinds of options to explore and advertisements for various character/currency/bonus options, which are always there and sometimes worthwhile, but NOTHING outright stops you from playing like sudden swarms of enemies way too powerful for your puny starting team… That’s just like interrupting the game to say "This demo’s over, you need cash to continue." As it is, combat becomes a tedious turn-taking affair that bogs down the excitement. And the "auto battle AI" is dumb, leaving weakened opponents in the battle while taking on stronger ones. The result is that these weaker opponents still get their turn to attack at full strength, so instead of one less attacker next round, you’re facing the same numbers again! Apparently concentrated fire is a new concept here. Interesting post apocalyptic story. A bit over the top dialog with the occasionally poorly-translated Russian to English. Nothing that would drive us away. The UI could be a bit more helpful in guiding the viewer (mentioning a station somewhere else on a large map, using its actual (unfamiliar) place name, but not highlighting it on the screen map for ease of finding it in a densely-labelled grungey train map. That can grow frustrating. Overall this game shows a LOT of promise from a richly detailed backstory, and very pretty graphics, but interface and behavior awkwardnesses that make it a non-buy for us. At least for the time being.

Love the game. Very stable and really fun to play.

It’s a wonderful game for those who have read the book series or played the video games released. It allows you to basically take complete control of your own faction in the metro and rise to glory. The combat itself is simple, yet intuitive and unlike most other turn based strategies it might be better to be patient than try to land the most hits, the RNG gods in this game tend to hate the player.

Much better than the original, more advanced and more options. Only issue for us is the crashing every now and again.

The game is good but needs stability to play on devices ,
