We enjoy these types of Big fish games! One problem we paid 6.99 ! Then we deleted it by mistake and when we installed right away you charged us again! Not cool at all ripping customers off!we want a refund! Lately we noticed we paid for games and been charged again.
We've played all of the Grim Tales games and this one was by far our favorite!!! It's got everything we look for in a HOAG and then some! Go ahead and buy this one, you're gonna love it!! Played this one a second time after a year went by & its definitely a keeper.
Really hope there is a an update with additional game play…finished it quickly but want more.
We thought the game was good and lengthy. We hate paying for a game and it turns out to be a short one so we were pleasantly surprised.
Very smooth gameplay. Was able to enjoy and use the hint button when necessary.
Loved this game despite a few sticky objects in h/o scenes. We found it fun and not too easy or hard.
Enjoyable story line, great graphics, challenging but not impossible mini games, and we bought it on sale! What more could you ask for.

It was great !! We did enjoy it, a little far fetched but very nice.
Good game but, when we decided to purchase it, and paid for it, we could not play it. Our initial purchase was charged to our credit card but the game would not unlock. We click "already purchased" and am told that there is no history of the purchase. We then go back and click"unlock" again and am told that we have already purchased the game and do we want a free copy. We say yes and am brought to the unlock screen where the nightmare starts again. We decided to check out the games that we have purchased and played in the past and am having the same problem as another player described in that it seems to want us to unlock and pay games that we have already paid for in order to play them a second time!! We have sent a question into BigFish on this. Should not have to pay a second time to play a game more than once!! We contacted Apple and our money was refunded. We contacted BigFish and within hours they responded saying that they were aware of the problem and had just released a fix. We checked and everything is working! Service was great which is not the norm today with most companies! We are back playing the game and am loving it.
Excellent game. The only games that don't freeze and never start working again. If you do need to help just send contact info and name of game and they fix it or tell you how.
If you're a fan of these games, this is another great one for HOPs, ambiance, art work, and fun. This one has a legal theme to it at the beginning for people who enjoy clues and court room drama.

We absolutely love this hidden objects game. It was relatively easy to follow and the hints weren't to obvious. We look forward to the sequel.
Believe us when we said one of the best in terms of playing , graphics and smoothness of the game. Been playing for many years and this one is challenging. Elephant games did it again, keep bringing them on.

All the reviews were correct in saying that the trial is extremely short. The game itself however is nice and long plus a bonus chapter. This game had everything we like; A map, you can transport locations, the inventory items are marked, the hints will also transport you, you can mute the voices, hos are easy and there are not too many of them. The only issue is the puzzle directions are not clear on a lot of the games. Overall we enjoyed this game and recommended it.
Another good one from Elephant Games. Great teleporting map, hint button and HOS. Some of the puzzles seemed a little weird and had to skip, but overall a beautiful game.

No witchcraft! No bloody human sacrifices and demonic rituals to save ppl from demonic…rituals…??? Yeah. Umm…we'll just let that one go. This game was AWESOME! We were soooo close to finding all 35 morphing items: we had 34!!! We were solo sad-we've NEVER gotten them all or come that close! The achievements were FUN. The games were FUN. The storyline was great! It had all the proper tools these games should have: a map, with teleporting capabilities, HELPFUL hints, a DIARY to keep things comprehensive and clarify anything confusing, REAL (well, almost, lol) detective work… An in game accessible strategy guide so if you get completely stuck you won't stay stuck. A few minor glitches: the touch sensitivity was off…there where several spots we had to re-do and re-do bc the game wasn't picking up that we were actually touching the objects in question. The mini game with the dolls was particularly frustrating-we had to re-play and re-do it three times to get the tail on the dog and the winter coat arm on the winter doll. Also, this issue caused us to not be able to get our 10 items in ten seconds feat bc several times it wouldn't select the time we were touching and then we'd, of course, not get them all in time. THAT was also disappointing. But overall we LOVED it and want to see another one just like this! The artwork was just gorgeous, btw. We're just SICK of having such slim pickings for games like these…we HATE resorting to the creepy ones with dull, disgusting graphics and bloody gory scenes just to have something to do. We're disabled and bed-ridden, so passing the time with a fun game is a pleasure.

It is difficult to judge a game with such a short trial period. The graphics are very good and what little we have played is fun.
We loved all the grim tales it always has a good story, fairly easy puzzles and most important a skip button for harder puzzles. Also a strategy guide which is really helpful.

This is an AMAZING game and gets five stars from us!! It has everything a real hidden object game fan could possibly ask for… We were so certain this would be a great game we purchased it prior to even playing the free preview… We say go all in and buy this one!! You will not regret it.
Thank you for offering another terrific Elephant Game! Grim Tales: The Vengeance is a new set up where you play as a psychic detective who is asked to prove her nephew is innocent of killing his sister for her inheritance. By touching objects, you are able to view the past and see what happened. Good Hint and Skip, and a Map. There are morphing objects, always fun! The puzzles are varied, such as put together the stained glass pieces. The Hidden Objects are standard, and well defined. There is a cute little dog who belonged to the deceased, and some giant guard dogs. Elephant Games are always well-constructed and delightful to play, so we would recommend purchasing this before the sale is gone.
It's a very short trial. We had to decide if we wanted to buy or not, and given the lousy games from BF lately, we truly did have to think about it for a while. We're not all the way done, but we're fairly far along and we don't want anyone to miss out on it while it's on sale. Bottom line: we're SO glad we purchased this. It's got a few gimmicks/quirks that make it unique, but there are still some of the old-school things we love. We RECOMMEND THIS with 5 stars. The good: GREAT storyline that really works. Lots of cutscenes and voice overs that move the story along. Lots of locations. Easy to use teleporting map that works, great hint button if you need it, labeled inventory, fun and challenging mini games/puzzles, lots of HOPs, and it's just a lot of fun. No creepy protagonists to help, no glitches or slow loading times. Just a fun game that has enough novelty to not be the same ol' same ol'. The bad: some of the voices are a little goofy, and if you don't like things jumping out at you, there are a few places that are a little spooky (we don't mind them, but honestly, we're trying to be objective because this is the best game from BF in a LONG time). And they really should have made the trial a little longer. We've got to go back and play more now; we stopped playing long enough to share — but we've got to go back to the courthouse and find out who killed Elizabeth.

Now that was a real adventure not only to you get to prove your nephew is not guilty of his sisters death, but—– Then that would ruin the game for you. Great voice overs map and guide. Your collecting statuettes of the family and morphing objects in this one. Finished all but the bonus chapter and No RATS but lots of BATS come at you. We have done this game twice clear through and had no problems on our iPad or our Mac so go for it. Thank you BF and Elephant Games for a good one. A big shout out to everyone lol and prayers to all. Now must eat our breakfast so we can do the bonus chapter. If we run in to a Rat there will get back to you L/M. Snooper-158.
We have always liked Big Fish games and have not experienced any problems with them so far. We especially enjoy the series of the Gray Family. Always entertaining, and challenging without being intimidating.
Great game, its quite long and lots of things to do.
Haven't played long enough to decide if we like or not. Might have possibilities. #2 Enjoyed the game but had some issues with screen sensitivity…..very frustrating! Had a hard time seeing details on some shots, very small details were really way too small. Thank you for the game! Grim Tales is just about our favorite.
This is an older game that we are replaying, and apparently we did not write a review the first time. At this point in time, there is nothing innovative about the HOs, but back then probably so. The puzzles are okay, great visuals with them, but not hard. The story is entertaining. For being a three year old game, the graphics are amazingly good. Game length is good. Still worth buying/playing three years later.
Keep it coming, more chapters or sequel please.
We bought this game based on several reviews and the fact that it was at a discount. We've had only a few of these games and enjoy the colorful graphics. The games seem quickly repetitious but if you're looking for something pleasant in a relaxed manner, these games can fill the bill.

Love this game so far, we haven't had a good game in a while. Hope it keeps up like it started. Graphics pretty good story line.
We decided, when the price came down, to buy this game. We're glad we did. We enjoyed it. We used the hint more than the map. The hint would show us the area we needed to go to, and teleport us there. The graphics were nice. The game enjoyable.
We played this on our Mac so remembered it a little when we installed it on our iPad. Story was good and didn't wander o from. Beautiful graphics. Some of the mini games had unclear instructions which caused us to skip them–and we get tired of lining various rings and colored stones up in 2000 moves. But we enjoyed the collectibles and morphing objects–only complaint that we couldn't go back and complete the collections after finishing the game and bonus chapters. Other games are doing that now to our delight. We enjoyed playing this again and think you will too.
We enjoyed playing this game. It's has a teleport map, good hints, story line, playing time is lengthy, nice bonus chapter, and graphics. We took off one star b/c selecting some items was tedious if not impossible. We switched to a mesh stylus and selecting/moving got easier. Very nice and worth the price.
Not really. It's fun, but too short for the full $7 we paid.
