We’ve played all of the Grim Tales games and this one was by far our favorite!!! It’s got everything we look for in a HOAG and then some! Go ahead and buy this one, you’re gonna love it!! Played this one a second time after a year went by & its definitely a keeper!!!
Thank you for offering another terrific Elephant Game! Grim Tales: The Vengeance is a new set up where you play as a psychic detective who is asked to prove her nephew is innocent of killing his sister for her inheritance. By touching objects, you are able to view the past and see what happened. Good Hint and Skip, and a Map. There are morphing objects, always fun! The puzzles are varied, such as put together the stained glass pieces. The Hidden Objects are standard, and well defined. There is a cute little dog who belonged to the deceased, and some giant guard dogs. Elephant Games are always well-constructed and delightful to play, so we would recommend purchasing this before the sale is gone!
Believe us when we said one of the best in terms of playing , graphics and smoothness of the game. Been playing for many years and this one is challenging. Elephant games did it again, keep bringing them on.

If you’re a fan of these games, this is another great one for HOPs, ambiance, art work, and fun. This one has a legal theme to it at the beginning for people who enjoy clues and court room drama.
It’s a very short trial. We had to decide if we wanted to buy or not, and given the lousy games from BF lately, we truly did have to think about it for a while. We’re not all the way done, but we’re fairly far along and we don’t want anyone to miss out on it while it’s on sale. Bottom line: we’re SO glad we purchased this. It’s got a few gimmicks/quirks that make it unique, but there are still some of the old-school things we love. We RECOMMEND THIS with 5 stars. The good: GREAT storyline that really works. Lots of cutscenes and voice overs that move the story along. Lots of locations. Easy to use teleporting map that works, great hint button if you need it, labeled inventory, fun and challenging mini games/puzzles, lots of HOPs, and it’s just a lot of fun. No creepy protagonists to help, no glitches or slow loading times. Just a fun game that has enough novelty to not be the same ol’ same ol’. The bad: some of the voices are a little goofy, and if you don’t like things jumping out at you, there are a few places that are a little spooky (I don’t mind them, but honestly, we’re trying to be objective because this is the best game from BF in a LONG time). And they really should have made the trial a little longer. We’ve got to go back and play more now; we stopped playing long enough to share — but we’ve got to go back to the courthouse and find out who killed Elizabeth…

This is an AMAZING game and gets five stars from us!! It has everything a real hidden object game fan could possibly ask for… We were so certain this would be a great game we purchased it prior to even playing the free preview… We say go all in and buy this one!! You will not regret it!!

Excellent game. We throughly enjoyed playing it. And it was NOT too short.
Good game but, when we decided to purchase it, and paid for it, we could not play it. Our initial purchase was charged to our credit card but the game would not unlock. We click "already purchased" and am told that there is no history of the purchase. We then go back and click"unlock" again and am told that we have already purchased the game and do we want a free copy. We say yes and am brought to the unlock screen where the nightmare starts again. We decided to check out the games that we have purchased and played in the past and am having the same problem as another player described in that it seems to want us to unlock and pay games that we have already paid for in order to play them a second time!! We have sent a question into BigFish on this. Should not have to pay a second time to play a game more than once!! We contacted Apple and our money was refunded. We contacted BigFish and within hours they responded saying that they were aware of the problem and had just released a fix. We checked and everything is working! Service was great which is not the norm today with most companies! We are back playing the game and am loving it!

Now that was a real adventure not only to you get to prove your nephew is not guilty of his sisters death, but—– Then that would ruin the game for you. Great voice overs map and guide. Your collecting statuettes of the family and morphing objects in this one. Finished all but the bonus chapter and No RATS but lots of BATS come at you. We have done this game twice clear through and had no problems on our iPad or our Mac so go for it. Thank you BF and Elephant Games for a good one. A big shout out to everyone lol and prayers to all. Now must eat our breakfast so we can do the bonus chapter. If we run in to a Rat there will get back to you L/M. Snooper-158.
It is difficult to judge a game with such a short trial period. The graphics are very good and what little we have played is fun.
Another good one from Elephant Games. Great teleporting map, hint button and HOS. Some of the puzzles seemed a little weird and had to skip, but overall a beautiful game.
Excellent Hint button (transports to the next location), interactive map, well-designed puzzles and games, cohesive plot, sympathetic characters. We can’t wait for the sequel!
We loved all the grim tales it always has a good story, fairly easy puzzles and most important a skip button for harder puzzles. Also a strategy guide which is really helpful.
One of our favorites so far (and we play most BF games)! Interesting storyline, great videos, clever character intertwining and good puzzles. Great job!
No witchcraft! No bloody human sacrifices and demonic rituals to save ppl from demonic… Rituals…??? Yeah. Umm… We’ll just let that one go. This game was AWESOME! We were soooo close to finding all 35 morphing items: we had 34!!! We were solo sad-I’ve NEVER gotten them all or come that close! The achievements were FUN. The games were FUN. The storyline was great! It had all the proper tools these games should have: a map, with teleporting capabilities, HELPFUL hints, a DIARY to keep things comprehensive and clarify anything confusing, REAL (well, almost, lol) detective work… An in game accessible strategy guide so if you get completely stuck you won’t stay stuck. A few minor glitches: the touch sensitivity was off… There where several spots we had to re-do and re-do bc the game wasn’t picking up that we were actually touching the objects in question. The mini game with the dolls was particularly frustrating-I had to re-play and re-do it three times to get the tail on the dog and the winter coat arm on the winter doll. Also, this issue caused us to not be able to get our 10 items in ten seconds feat bc several times it wouldn’t select the time we were touching and then I’d, of course, not get them all in time. THAT was also disappointing. But overall we LOVED it and want to see another one just like this! The artwork was just gorgeous, btw. We’re just SICK of having such slim pickings for games like these… We HATE resorting to the creepy ones with dull, disgusting graphics and bloody gory scenes just to have something to do. We’re disabled and bed-ridden, so passing the time with a fun game is a pleasure.
All the reviews were correct in saying that the trial is extremely short. The game itself however is nice and long plus a bonus chapter. This game had everything we like; A map, you can transport locations, the inventory items are marked, the hints will also transport you, you can mute the voices, hos are easy and there are not too many of them. The only issue is the puzzle directions are not clear on a lot of the games. Overall we enjoyed this game and recommended it.
We thought the game was good and lengthy. We hate paying for a game and it turns out to be a short one so we were pleasantly surprised.

We bought this game based on several reviews and the fact that it was at a discount. We’ve had only a few of these games and enjoy the colorful graphics. The games seem quickly repetitious but if you’re looking for something pleasant in a relaxed manner, these games can fill the bill.
If you like the Mystery Trackers series, you won’t be disappointed.

We love elephant games… They pay attention to the smallest detail and it pays off. We actually spend time just looking at all the gadgets and gizmos that move in a scene and/ or an HOP. We loved the iguana on the gate waiting to catch the fly…. One of many added touches that make this game maker stand out. Keep up the excellent work.. The psychic investigator uses Psychometry by interpreting information and vibes from the objects presented to her. You, through her, are transported to the scenes and her task is to solve the horrible murder of a relative. The graphics are excellent ,especially in the HO scenes. We subtracted a star because the map wasn’t that great. Using the hint button was faster and easier and gave us a transport option. The bonus game was just as good as the main game too. We found some of the puzzles challenging because we didn’t understand the directions. ( we are a Senior) Most of them, however, were okay. We do recommend this game at the introductory price.
We enjoyed playing this game. It’s has a teleport map, good hints, story line, playing time is lengthy, nice bonus chapter, and graphics. We took off one star b/c selecting some items was tedious if not impossible. We switched to a mesh stylus and selecting/moving got easier. Very nice and worth the price.
This is a great game with beautiful graphics great voice overs map BF Guide discover if your nephew James really did kill his sister just finishing up trial which is short. No rats so far good clear HOS inventory items labeled morphing items and statues to collect Update very short game all HOS were only lists.
We have always liked Big Fish games and have not experienced any problems with them so far. We especially enjoy the series of the Gray Family. Always entertaining, and challenging without being intimidating.
This was a terrific game. It was a detective story, where you time-travel to save a family and change their destiny. The game was lengthy with bonus gameplay. Graphics were beautiful and cut-scenes were nicely done. It had a diary, a strategy guide, and a hint system that wasn’t a spoiler. There was a task list. The HO scenes were only lists, but at least there wasn’t an overabundance of them. Lots of varied puzzles and mini-games. The inventory was labeled (with plus items that you needed to assemble) and there was a teleport map. You collected morphing objects and statuettes. (However we don’t really enjoy collectibles because they distract us from the story!) The game flowed smoothly and was fun. And NO RATS, just a little hamster. So why didn’t we rate it a full 5 stars? First of all, we would have liked it if the HO scenes were more varied, not just lists. To access the map and diary was a pain in the butt, and it had to load, which made it a bit tedious. A map tab and diary tab would have been better. The map listed tasks when there was nothing available to do in that particular location at that time, and put a star when there were still things that could be done. You could tell English was not the developer’s first language, as the grammar was a bit off. Some of the mini-games were glitchy, and there were sensitivity issues, where you had to tap hard and repeatedly to pick up an object ( but it was very sensitive in the HO scenes, no problems there!) But all in all, Elephant Games gave us a good solid game which didn’t crash. We love this series, so if they fix the sensitivity issues and make it easier to access the map and diary, we would definitely like a sequel. We send our Dream Team lots of and happy gaming. We are going to Houston to party, shop and visit friends for a long weekend, so our game playing will have to take a back seat!
