We have been playing the game since it first came around ! It is our favorite game of ALL time ! The graphics and whom ever hides the objects is amazing ! Each time we think ha ha we got this game figured out ! NOPE . Zam it goes another way. Thank You for Midnight Castle !
We have been playing this game since way, way back. We cant believe they still havent solved the problem of internet disconnect when too many players try to log on at the same time. Telling us that MY internet is at fault has gotten so old. Our internet connection is fine, thank you. This is your error.
We once loved the game now no progress so now dont play anymore so wanted to let you know.
We have been playing for a long time and am never disappointed. It does take the designers a rather long time to develop a new kingdom but understandable with the beautiful graphics. We just entered the 14th, the Citadel. The new rooms and items require a lot of coins to open. If you go into the bag in your Inventory, a lot can be cashed out for 80, 90, 100 coins each. With 1270 items, it was easy for us to get enough coins to open everything.
Collect other players to go further in the game.. Keeps your mind busy!

This started last year when the download special for Halloween arrived In late November. Then Christmas came in February and Im still waiting for the Spring/Easter egg download. Whats up. No fun playing after the holiday is over.
We love this game and play it whenever we have some spare time. However, guys at the zen desk? With the newest update we’ve lost ALL 25 of our friends, except the John bot.
We have been playing this game as Mari for years. We accumulated @3,975,000points, over 4000 diamonds and was about 150 points from level119, when we had to download for the Christmas event. We had 43 friends, and our last identity was Mari whr Christmas. In the download, we had to have help from Apple, but that didnt help. Needless to say, we lost our game and everything we worked for for years. Now the game wants us to start all over again. We dont think we will ever be able to do what we have done, so to our 43 friends, good luck downloading again. We are so very disappointed that we cant continue playing.
We have been playing this game for years. Today it froze up on us and we cannot get our progress back. Can someone please help us?
We have been playing for years. Right now we are on 118. Havent had an update since Halloween! Which was updated twice. We refused to play the second time. If there are no new updates, did not get the holiday update, we will than delete the app.
Im not sure whats going on, but we’ve been playing this event for over 30 days and we cant get the final carnival mask. Since we finished the castle challenge, we have spent the last 2 days doing nothing but looking for the mask ghosts. We have at least 75 ghosts, but it will not give us that last one. We dont mind things being hard, but after at least 5 hours per day over the last three days, this is a little ridiculous.
Reading other comments about spending so much money, well guess what? We have never spent one red penny, we love working hard for the diamonds and coins we’ve earned. This game is very relaxing, the graphics are awesome, and we love that its endless play. Stop and think why you started playing it to begin with, then it will hit you. So, stop ranting and enjoy playing the game!
Are we going to have a Christmas event?
Where are the holidays been playing for five years and all of a sudden no special bonus screens.
Used to enjoy this game but it has become impossible to advance. Every time we save up enough coins to do something, there are even more requirements for more coins. The only way to move forward is buy coins and thats stupid. They are also slow to update and dont release seasonal events in a timely way. There are better games to spend your time playing.
After playing this game now for prolly 10 yrs we are experienced enough that regular game-play isnt what brings us to get into the game each day. Nope no thrills there :( Who ever is this games creator might want to get with the program!! No events based on a season, no events based on Christmas or Winter if you dont want to exclude a % of the population, then dont do ANY Event of any variety at all any more. Make an announcement & just make it known you will only be making Game Updates going forward. If youre TOO big for your britches then shame on you for that as well. Do not spend your time or money on this, get some game that gives back to its patrons.
Its Christmas Eve and still no Christmas Event? When will that happen? February? March? Never? Considering Halloween just ended a few days ago, we guess we shouldnt be surprised, but we are horribly disappointed. We love the Christmas Event, and we know our friends do too.
Midnight Castle has been one of our favorites for years ever since we found it. It can get expensive later in the game when you need gems but this is our one vise especially since Covid started. We’ve had that nasty virus 5 times and have had all our shots and boosters but what Im getting at, is this game kept us from going crazy. What else can you do when you cant go anywhere or see anyone so Game Time !
Are we getting an update for Halloween?
It does seem as you move up to opening more areas, the amounts of coins are ridiculously high. We’ve played for over 5 years and since this last update can only stay on for about 35 seconds. Hopefully a new update will be better for Christmas, but we dont see any reason to remain playing if they dont reduce the coins needed to open areas and resolve the issues for staying in the game. Literally we can send our 5 gifts – which itself is a paltry number and Im thrown off. Pitiful.
Three x 35 items per ship is completely ridiculous. For the current castle challenge, 8 airships needed to be sent. Out of the 849 items needed for the ships, 673 were the three items we were low on. Assuming each item is dropped at an even distribution, and there are six possible items, we needed to complete 1346 rooms to achieve these 4 days of the castle challenge. Add to that, when the challenge required completing daily quests, for three days in a row the daily request included sending an air ship. And now when 30 pet medallions are required, again the daily quest includes sending an airship. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!!!
Am stuck on level 116 no where to go. We just keep collecting money and keys.
Unlike too many games, multiple devices can have multiple players so we can all play together! A little difficult for real little ones but the preteens dont mind keeping mom company and we really love the seasonal games.
We have been playing this for at least seven years. We love the graphics. Because we have been playing so long, we frequently have to wait for the events or the next upgrade to the story, but we still enjoy it.
After 5 years Im ready to quit. Cant get ahead no matter what Im supposed to get. Got 3 areas 3 years ago now nothing. Paid for other places but they never showed up. Dont get us wrong we love the game but if you cant accomplish anything why waste our time. Too old to waste our time. How do we advance in the game? Im always getting notices about an area we know nothing about, how do we get there? Please we need help. Im nearly 81 years old . We love the game thats why we keep trying. Help us.
It is becoming more difficult to find articles in the challenge because there are so many. We have spent hours trying to find birdhouses and so far two. This is too much of a challenge so therefore the one star. Thanks.

We have been away from the game for over two years and nothing has changed. It has now become so boring we are delegating it once a gain. They have lost us for good now. This game just takes your money.

We love playing this game and our kindle fire (Level 41 we think. Ugh) died on our so starting over on phone and pc. Hoping we can have the same game going on both formats. We will see. But addicted.

We are done. Really tired of earning the money to create an item or go to a new zone and then we have to do it again and again. The game should give more coins if it is constantly needed. We have played for years but have had enough.

Beware, game ha more or less ended. No action for months. Stuck at level 115. Graphics are great, but no story. The game has just halted with no explanation. When played earlier, it was expensive. Beware of player boredom!

Been playing this game for about a year and we love it! We had some issue with our game and the support responded right away and resolved it.
This is the only game we’ve ever enjoyed for years. The graphics are fantastic and ruin it for all other HO game developers. There are Big Fish game groups, some dedicated to Midnight Castle solely. Our favorite is a Midnight Castle group on the Delphi forums. People there have devoted a great deal of time creating a book on steps to take throughout. Some have also dedicated time to type out the entire story. Its very helpful and fun to read. Developers are quick, when possible, to fix a problem. We wish, as does everyone else, that new levels would come out faster, but even when there is a delay, there is always plenty to do. Love this game!
What happened?? We had 24 friends- they are all gone except for John the computer. Our wish list items disappeared also. Is there a fix for this?
Has anybody noticed that in the Christmas bags where everybody leaves a gift you dont actually get those we just found that out and we’ve been playing since November 2015 P owed about it.

This game is a long term game we have been playing since 2014. But recently they have stopped doing updates in non Apple devices. We were playing on our kindle but updates are scarce. Really sad. You need the special seasons to build up your money and to complete the challenges. Im going to spend our items and then delete it from our kindle. So frustrating.
This is our favorite game. There are so many different games to Play not just hidden objects puzzles. We are always amazed at the new things to do during the holiday seasons and the length of time we get to enjoy playing the games and the gifts we get playing them. We have played this game for going on 5 years and we truly love it. We would recommend it to anyone who enjoys these kinds of game. One last note, you dont have to spend a lot of money to play, its a great game.
