Okay, so, when we first found out about Mills from a festival we went to, we LOVED the game. We wanted to play it a lot. So we downloaded this app, started up an online game and got destroyed. Thats okay, Im just learning! So we started up ANOTHER online game, and got destroyed THERE as well. Thats okay, two good players in a row cant be that bad. But we just kept losing game after game. And honestly, yes, Im bad at Mills. But at the same time, the players we get matched with are people who have been playing for years, with much more experience and ratings around 1300. We actually asked one of them through the chat, How long have you been playing? They simply replied with Yes. Its really demoralizing to just keep losing games. Im pretty sure that either there are just no players on the app that arent masters, or the matching system isnt good. Either way, Ive lost every open seek Ive made so far. And the unfortunately you lost the match popup started to seem really condescending, because of how much it kept appearing. We won one game against a 900, but this was not in auto-match, we had to go out of our way to spend a long time manually finding a low-rated opponent who was online and would accept. We tied one game from some miracle as well. But the rest? All brutal, decisive losses, against people who are way, WAY too good for us. We really want to like Mills. We really, really do. Its a fun game, and we want to have fun, improve and learn and play against others at our own level. But every time we go into auto-match, we get paired up with someone who is very clearly going to steamroll us. As a new player who isnt at all good at the game, there arent many opponents out there at our level, and its super frustrating to just get decimated in basically every game we play. So, yeah. Good game, and we REALLY want to like it. But the fact that the game seems to set us up to fail is really discouraging and frustrating.
Tried several of the mill games. After each game, another type of game would appear. Trying to get back to Nine Men Morris was annoying & wasnt always able to succeed (which happed with this app). The app is quick & challenging.
It is the best game we have bought. Although we have lost everyone online.
The best board game in the app store.
This is one game that does not lend itself to an easy solution. There are strategies but you have to think about every game. We lose more than we win, humbling.
This is a simple game. The price for premium is WAY too high. Adverts come often. We'll be looking for another Mills game with a reasonable price for premium.
We just recently learned about this game and we tried to learn more on how to play on this app and we have to watch a long ad for every single game we play. Its extremely frustrating, Im playing against a bot, we shouldnt have to watch an ad for every game.

Love this game. Its the strategy of chess, the middle game of checkers and the ultimate game of tic tac toe all in one game! Thanks for making it an app.
We like this game and have tried 3 different apps before this one. They were all ridiculously easy. This one is better could still use one higher difficulty level but every few games when you click the X to get the ad off the screen, the whole screen goes black and nothing works. Fix that, and we will bump higher.
Game is normal but have problems.
The way the app is made is so that after at least two matches you have to either buy in game money, Play against bots at least 10 times, or watch ads how do expect a beginner to be able to win enough to play more than 2 matches before shoving in app purchases in your face and telling you to watch ads only to put up against people with over 30 points of elo ahead of you? The skill based matched making is terrible just like the game. DO NOT BUY THIS APP.
