Community Insight:

Its doesnt ask for ads Its free and its amazing its perfect.

Very nostalgic game being an 80s child! If theres a 10 star rating we would give it a 10 Star.

Fast, easy, and fun to play. Love it.

This is one of our favorite games on our phone. It is super fun.

We thought there was something wrong with our phone – Id been playing casually for years – when all of a sudden porn ads popped up in the middle of a game. Thats just awful, we have kids who play on our phone, so we deleted the app.

We cannot think of any way anyone could have done it better.

Ads showing people having sex keep popping up. Choose another app.

Used to be a simple app. Ads at the bottom of the screen. It did one thing — Minesweeper. Now it's unusable. In the middle of a game, we're suddenly kicked to the App Store to view an app like "letitgo". No warning, no full-screen ad that we accidentally clicked on — just tossed into the App Store. Makes the app unusable. Never know when we're going to be dumped out of a game.

Good game, true to original. Enjoy it a lot.

Classic windows game. Not much else more to say.

Good game to kill time, we wish on the harder difficulties you could play from the zoomed out position but all and all well done.

It keeps shutting down when you go back to an interrupted game, so that you never get to finish a game in progress. However, with this latest update, it is now working perfectly.

Once you get used to the touch to set flags, works great.

It would be nice if the hard level could be scaled and rotated so that the whole board could be seen on an iPad.

Regularly crashes when going to a new game, forcing you to view an ad when you restart the app. Good for maximizing ad views. Not good for users. An already bad user interface turned awful with the addition of popup ads in the middle of a game. If you are racing against the clock, forget it. (Haven't seen this happen lately) Press and hold to place a flag is too slow to use on a regular basis. Flag mode helps that; but it is awkward to switch between modes, and you can't clear a single square while in flag mode. If you accidentally place a flag, erasing it is a pain, as you have to click twice to pass through the useless question mark. As you pan across the board, it would be nice to have a clear indication that you've reached the edge, such as a bright border. And then there are no statistics such as top scores or averages. No comparisons with other players. Even the help section has a bad user interface. Standard gestures don't work to flip pages. There is no way to go back one page. And what the help shows for a cleared square that is empty (white) is not what you actually see in a game (blue).

The app crashes if you tap New Game on Medium and Hard settings.

When we lose in the hard mode, and we hit the button for a new game, the whole app closes. Then we have to reopen and start a new game that way. Not a huge deal, but still hella annoying. It only does it for the hard level.

Good app. Get messed up having to toggle back and forth on the flags.

Great version of minesweeper for your we-device.

Great iPhone app for us to pass the time waiting for an appointment or while we smoke a cigarette at night which we're doing now playing. Too bad it's not as responsive as the computer version bc we're nationally ranked in Minesweeper but we can't our times on here anywhere close to the computer version. But we still love this game/app.

Love this game! Simple yet challenging no complaints here.

As addicting as the game on computer! Love it.

Great for making a person think.

Nice, simple game that makes one think. Still a little hit and miss, though.

Great game to pass the time when you have those few extra minutes.

We really like this implementation of the classic ours sweeper game, but please let us control the volume!!!! Why does the sound have to be full on or off? What is so difficult about implementing a volume control?!?! Please fix so we can enjoy playing it.

Try to complete in under one minute! Would give it 5 stars if it kept statistics of wins, losses, times to complete.

Works fine most of the time . On occasion the game does not respond to commands , found that using a different finger works.

This is a good game on the iPhone. It works nearly a well as other ours games we've played. The only feature that we would like to see changed is that it's cumbersome to switch between clearing squares and marking them as mines, so it takes longer to clear the field.

This game is insane we honestly believe that this game is more intense and nerve racking than an ACTUAL ours field like our god. The stress levels generated by this game are honestly enough to cause some PTSD or something.

Works well, but some aspects of the game need to be reworked completely. More often than not, you cant start a game fairly because nothing gets cleared. Having to hit new game 8/10 times because you have to guess ruins the game.

Plain and simple, it needs changed, showing that 8 is promoting idiocity in logic. If something shows an 8 then all 8 spots surrounding it needs to be a bomb, but we see a 1 and 2. This is like the Apple Maps Icon telling you to get off an overpass, you've heard of this right? Fix this problem you've created in your Icon.

Horrible!!!!!! Make it better!!!!! Ugh.

We went to download the newest update, and that was about 3-6 days ago or so. It STILL is downloading. What the heck.

Well done! You put an old addiction in the palm of our hand.

Latest update adds great features.

If you are looking for classic minesweeper, this is it. It has a few good additions too like variable board sizes and adjustable lives. We like this because it lets you you adjust the difficulty without having to play on a massive or tiny board.

What a classic, older than most games but is loads of fun, especially with the new up date. Somewhat of a thinkers game that is a real BLAST.

We really like this updated version of Minesweeper! It's touch screen friendly and works will with a stylus. Our only thought is why there are a limited amount of flags. We know there are only a certain amount of mines but we specifically remember having unlimited flags. We hope this can be considered because it would be given 5 stars.

We found the one ours that was in the vicinity. Turns out there were more.

Was like the minesweeper of windows xp.

Fun, and just the right amount of challenging.

We loved this home on the computer. The only thing we would change is how to put down flags. Maybe holding to change to flagging instead of pushing a separate button. Also there is a somewhat annoying delay after choosing new game.

A game u can count on to be fun from the ole days.

Addictive! Can't put it down! Wish they had the same one for the iPad.

We like to play Minesweeper at airports, on planes, or anywhere we need to pass some time.

Yep.thiz one will work fun but not realy challenging but still super fun.

We were looking for an app that we could use as our daily mental exercise, and this was a good choice. It's fun, challenging, and definitely an app we would recommend.

Tremendous game. Great game for the airport and free time. The game challenges the mind just as it did in the old days.

The classic minesweeper with variable difficulties. 5 stars for performance, value, and hours of amusement.
