Monument Valley is the most amazing game Ive ever played. The graphics, sound, and simple mechanics create the perfect game experience. The storytelling is vague, but the game isnt centered around the lore so its fine. Its really fun and extremely immersive, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The bright colors and unique music make the game truly engaging. Wish we could rate this game more than 5 stars! Would 100% recommend.
We love to play this game because it makes you think. We've played this 2 times since MV3 is not available on IPhones. We're hoping that one day MV3 will be available on IPhones.
We never knew that pixels could be so beautiful, we always have issues sleeping, but when we play this we always feel at calm and peaceful. This game very inspiring and touching. This game js also very nostalgic since we used to play it as a very young age so our 2-4 year memories are mostly this game and the soothing music in it . We still play the 1st, 2nd, 3rd game. We hope that they make a 4th in the future. This game and the people who created it deserves way more attention ! This game is perfect and better than any other calming game you could find, we highly recommend.

Some parts are a little confusing, but overall it is a very creative idea yeah really for some reason. Reminds us of us and our mom before she passed this is an overall awesome game that we would recommend.
Love this game but we wish there were more levels.
It is not as calming as the old one. And what is the point of the Apple Arcade one? You still have to pay to play it. Also a pay to win for the first one cause you have to pay $2 extra bucks just for 8 if the rest of the levels. We recommend playing the arcade free trial one before buying.
Way too much time spent waiting for things to happen hugs, dialogue, endless walking. Not enough time spent solving puzzles.
Gorgeous game but we kept waiting for it to get actually difficult. Some parts of the levels felt like they actually just give you a straight shot. We loved that you get to make your own flowery design things at the end of each level though, that actually became more fun than the game play itself.
We thoroughly enjoyed MV1 and was enjoying MV2 until we got stuck at a level and could not find a way to move on. It was enough for us to move on to other cognitive games to keep our brain engaged.
A great mind game but once you are stuck theres nothing you can do.

We dont understand why this game has somehow managed to attract so many mixed reviews? This epic game is a beautiful masterpiece from start to finish! The music is amazing. This is a completely different game from the previous one with new characters, a different story, an upgraded Totem with a portal, a fresh new coating of paint, new sound effects, slick animations and epic music. We appreciate the finer details, such as the controls light up when you use them and the refined sound effects. The sponge tree really surprised us and the mother & daughter story had us smiling the entire time. The development team just delivered a fantastic game & story. There were moments where we were genuinely scratching our head wondering what to do. Did we mention the music? We are in awe over this game. Our advice: Ignore the haters who dont appreciate a beautiful game like this. Monument Valley II is more than optical illusions, sacred geometry and ancient monuments (there is a beautiful story involved). IMPORTANT FEATURES: – Breathtaking graphics. – No time limit. – No game-ending traps. Did we mention the graphics? This game is legit!! Just buy it! We absolutely love this game and (hopefully), you will too! Recommended: Yes.
This is probably one of the best games ever. We never seen a game like this. This is definitely different than other games. We like that about this and we heard that theyre making a third one soon so Im really hyped for that too.
Possibly our favourite game on the iPhone. So beautiful, so evocative, so tactile. Five stars, easily. Im so sad to hear today that Monument Valley 3 will be a Netflix exclusive, so Im heartbroken we wont be able to play it. Id happily give the makers of the game our money, happy to pay for the game. We refuse to give Netflix our money or pay for a horrible subscription.

We have never seen such a beautiful game in our life. The visual effects and music are wonderful. We really thank you very much. We wish all games were this beautiful and deep. We feel like we are in a magical fairy tale. We recommend it to everyone. You should buy the 1st and 2nd games. We thank everyone who designed a game that deserves everything.
We would like to see more from this company we played this game when we were really little and we played it again and it really reminded us of good times. We want to see another game like this.please and you can add the characters you were suggesting.

Can we please get a 3rd one. The first and second ones were amazing. We downloaded it a few years ago. Finished it. And we recently downloaded it again to do it all over. In need or a 3rd one.
We agree that the levels/puzzles are simpler in MV2 but as someone who wants satisfying and just-a-little challenging games with beautiful graphics and colors, we liked this. We relaxed through all the levels, because we could play them all without worrying about needing help – the mechanics and solutions we could figure out on our own. The geometry and color combinations and graphics design along the walls (the hanging ivy) were so so so pretty.
Us and our mom had a race to see who could solve it first so we both bought it and loved it they even included a second-ish world to play only down side is when its done its over you could play again but its not a constantly more kind of game.
When we first got our first ever we phone we played this game on one of the Apple Store iPhones. Could never find it since. It has been years of searching and finally we have stumbled across it once again. We have never been so happy. Our lifes side quest is complete.
The first game was great and so was this one. They managed to create amazing imaginative worlds here. Such an accomplishment for such a simple and short game. We loved the added dimension of a second main character here as well.

First, we just want to say we love Monument Valley one and two are both amazing and challenging games. We love how theres no ads and you dont need Wi-Fi to play. We think everybody should give this game five out of five Rreading because this is just an amazing game if nobody gives it a 5 out of five and they are just crazy and if they say its not challenging enough well, then great for them. They are really smart because it was challenging enough for us.
Number one, the story is great, same with the first. We recently figured out about the second, and we completed the first one as a kid, and it brought us memories. Anyway, the puzzles are amazing, we did expect more puzzles, which we got. Third, the aesthetic of the game is very transforming in making it feel like a different place. Fourth, we really love the new element near the end. Fifth, we love the reunion part. Great game.

This game was amazing. We dont remember having any ads, some levels were a little challenging which was great. We did finish the game in a day tho.
This game is absolutely amazing and Im always sad when it ends!! The first one was remarkable and we couldnt wait to purchase part 2! We finally got around to playing it and it is just so addicting. The music is peaceful and if you are ever stuck on the puzzle, sometimes taking a break and coming back would help jog the mind.
We enjoyed the game again. Even though it was short, we still think $4 was worth spending for those 2 hours of relaxation. Yes, it was not as challenging as the first one, but this game is not about challenge. Keep up doing great job.
This is one of the few iOS games we've truly enjoyed. The storyline is deeper than expected, the puzzles are challenging and rewarding with a unique twist, and the art is gorgeous. A gem in the rough. We only wish it was longer. The 1st game felt like it had more content, and we were disappointed that this one ended so quickly. Still worth the purchase, though.
Please make more of these games. We played them with our daughter first on Amazon fire and then for some reason Monument 2 wouldnt play so we searched for it online and found it on apple. Our daughter loves solving the puzzles. We would play together and it was such a great bonding experience and by Monument 2 she hardly needed us at all to help. We had so much fun and we really want a Monument 3 and she really liked the daughter added into Monument 2.
Love this game. More of a relaxing visual and auditory escape than an adrenaline rush. More episodes please.

MV2 is a good game and Im glad we have it. Ive got MV1 and its DLCs. MV2 has a different kind of story line, but one that is also heartfelt. Note: it is a significantly easier game than its predecessor, but has its moments.
Absolutely love the game! Simple but exquisite graphics are impressive. Our only dislike, not enough levels. Passing $4 for the game, we would hope it would entertain us for awhile. Unfortunately, we finished it in only a few hours. Thus, Id have to say that it is over priced for the numbers of levels you get.
When we first saw this game, we didnt think of it much. But when we were feeling under the weather, we were bored and saw this game again. The second time we saw it, we got obsessed especially when seeing both the trailers of M1 and 2 with sound on. After waiting for approval from our parents to download, we had a fun and relaxing time playing this game and watching videos about it along with M1. What we like about this game is that its beautiful, easy, great soundtrack, and good story. The only thing that needs improvement to this game is that maybe add 8 more additional chapters and not just the lost forest; like how M1 has Forgotten Shores for $2.99 along with Idas dream. But overall very good game.
We would like to say like some other people who wrote the reviews that there are some cliffhangers in the game, and a confusing storyline when Ro meets the storyteller. The first one was AMAZING! The puzzles got challenging as you went, but this one we were hoping for even more of a challenge and did not get it at all the first one was worst the money, this one not at all.
Lost all its difficultly & just turned into music, visuals and pressing buttons to move.
We absolutely loved the 1st game! Unfortunately 2 just doesnt feel like the same amount of energy and development was put into the sequel. Most levels were so easy they felt like demos. Still a good game, just disappointed that it didnt have the same or better experience than the first.
We appreciated this game, but the marketing is misleading, which led to disappointment. Im not sure if this is meant to be a version of MV for young kids, but it is way, way easier than the original MV. You can do all the levels with minimal thought/attention; there were only one or two times that the way to proceed through the level wasnt immediately obvious and even then it only took a few seconds of experimentation to figure it out. So for an adult this is more of a relaxation game. Which isnt bad necessarily, but it should have been made clear in the marketing that this is a simplified version of MV, not a true sequel. We also thought the art was less intricate and interesting than in the original. There were some cool concepts in this version that were new since MV1, like the growing bushes and the landscapes where every feature rotated simultaneously, or the 2-dimensional Mondrian-esque landscape, which we did appreciate.
