Mühle and Mills
Rediscover the timeless strategy game known by many names: Mühle, Mills, Morelles, Merrills, Merels, Mill, and Morris. Perfect for players of all ages, this classic board game combines strategic thinking with engaging gameplay.
Features:
Traditional Rules: Stay true to the classic game with authentic gameplay mechanics.
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master: Simple rules make it accessible, but strategic depth keeps you coming back.
Smooth Interface: Intuitive controls for placing, moving, and jumping stones.
How to Play:
Each player has 9 stones to place on a 24-spot board.
Players take turns placing their stones. Align three stones in a row (a "mill") to remove an opponent's stone.
Once all stones are placed, move your stones to adjacent spots to form new mills or block your opponent.
When reduced to three stones, you gain the ability to jump to any empty spot.
The goal is to leave your opponent with fewer than three stones or no legal moves.
Whether you're a seasoned fan or a newcomer to the game, Mühle and Mills brings this centuries-old pastime to your fingertips.

Community Insight:
Ive played this game for years but the new update just ruined it for us. We are color blind and with the update we can no longer distinguish between our pieces and the opponents.
As far as we can tell this is a solid app that works well. There is no option to remove ads which is a problem for us. The ads are short though. Pros: works well, solid app, ads are short and rather unobtrusive Cons: ever present banner ad, no premium option to permanently remove ads.
Its too easy. Hard mode isnt hard at all please make six and nine mens morris much more difficult.
Whenever we start a game the background is black and we cant see the board whatsoever.
We really like this game. However there are a lot of glitches in it. Sometimes when we make a move another piece follows the one we placed. Also, after one game is over, you can't continue with another. We have to start the game over from the beginning.
We've mentioned to friends that this game is like "Tic Tac Toe" with Many different strategic possibilities. It is a fun brain challenge.
This is a great game and we love playing it.
Love that strategy is involved.
A fun, challenging, and ever changing game of skill.
Simple yet stimulating it works the brain the layout is easy to use So you can focus on strategy without distraction well done a classic.
Tricky at first. Figure out the tricks. Fun game.
We enjoyed a lot playing the game an suggest.
It's tricky at first but soooo fun once you understand it.
Great light game to train your mind.
Decent level of strategy to the game and it's functionality is pleasant but even on hardest difficulty the computer makes silly mistakes to give you the win. Need harder difficulty and one that doesn't repeat the same strategy every time.
We like the simplicity of this game. Still challenging though. We recommend it.
Played this for the first time yesterday, and we are now able to beat the computer on the hardest difficulty without much effort. Make it harder! Fun game though.
The instructions are cut off on ipad so we really have no clue how to play.
A simple representation of a medieval game. The constant reminders to rate the game are why we're scoring this low AND removing it from our gadget.
Would b more fun to play w/Friends.
Stone movement need improvement Game intelligence need improvement.
It's a great way to pass a few minutes if time. Brings back some memories.
Hangs when iPhone can not make a move otherwise pretty fun.
Unfortunately it seems online play is not working or there is no one else playing the game.
Kind of like an advanced game if tix tax toe. It drives us crazy when the computer beats us. It can occupy for us for quite a while.
It's a great game but it has some more updating.
Great app… It would be nice if it would be a game … Like dice with friends …. We would love to play this game with our FB friends !!!! :).
Great game. Also free. The computer is a decent opponent, but beatable once you figure out strategy.
Nice start for a classic game as an app. A few issues though. The alternating start function doesn't work. Also, the computer 'freezes' on its turn frequently after we have made a good move, and we have to restart or refresh. Both issues occur on all difficulty settings, we have only tried one player however, so we do not know if they exist in two player mode.
Simple tic tac toe like strategy.
The game was hard till we got the hang o it, now the hard is way to easy.
Awesome! We WANT 2 PLAYER ELIGIBILITY.
Its pretty easy when you learn the tricks.
The game itself is fun, but the app is handicapped in several ways First of all, unless ours is buggy, advertisements will pop up, up to once every 3 seconds. Basically, each time a piece is placed or moved, an ad might pop up, which is very annoying Second, sometimes the computer will refuse to move if it knows it will lose. The only course of action is to quit the app and start over Third, this is more of a complaint of the game itself, but most of the game is placing the pieces. Once you have 3 in a row you can remove an opposing piece. The problem is if the player is unable to move a piece in the way of the opposing team, they can simply repeat the same movement back and forth to keep getting three in a row, which makes the game a bit annoying at times. It would be better if once a 3 in a row was achieved, that set was no longer allowed and the player had to find a new combo with different pieces.
We have fun with this game until the CPU cheats! Sometimes if it knows it can't win, it won't make a move then you have to quit! Fix it and it will get 5 stars.
The update is very good in the graphic area but we cant play in tow player mood.
Easy to learn the game play. Each game is quick. Great to pass a few minutes while waiting.
Great game to just Chill out at the end of the day.
Very good game simple but very challenging. Love it.
Just as we remembered the German game.
This is an example of a fun game and "brain app" in one. Stimulating for all ages and levels of ability. The game allows the player to play alone or with others. It also has easy, medium and hard so the game will remain challenging.
Great little time waster. More to it than meets the eye. Games are relatively quick, so great for those little downtime moments. Only complaint is the same as another reviewer: Can keep repeating the same move, where that should be disallowed. Still recommended, better If they fixed the rule.
This app does exactly what you want it to. If you already like this game you will like this app.
Great game. Great memories for our childhood.
We feel on online we play with computer.
