Community Insight:
For some reason it wont load, it gets stuck on loading game objects, if anyone can help thatd be great cuz the first one was awesome and we still play it, but Im super happy to play this second one so please somone help us out here.
It's a great game. Amazing actually. But every time we scroll to our other settlement on our planet our game crashes.
Yall abandoned the great art o the original for this.
Not able to move player in player mode. When we click on the Microphone button our game crashes. We are on iPhone 12. Besides that cool game, loved the first one, met a cool guy too.
The reason why when we gave this our colony 2 game a 3 star is due to a fact that the controls are too confusing from the old game, and we have a lot of trouble trying to play the game, please make the controls as simple as the old game, but the game is still actually good and fun, but please respond, and thank you for reading this developers.
The one noticeable change from the last game is that you can actually start a game, its still impossible to actually do anything but hey maybe by the third game itll let you actually do things after starting a world.
We love the game, which worlds you choose to colonize by the thing is each time we try to move our character around it always goes backwards instead of forward. Maybe its just a glitch or maybe theres something wrong with the game.
IMO, MC1 was much better. We like the ability to see everything cut and dry. Seems like a lot of extra steps to see one stat. Not a very clear method of reading resource income/outputs. No building information other than produces costs like we wanna know what the buildings are for and what they do. Some info all around would be nice rather than just heres a game, figure it out. Need more help info in game and maybe less scatterbrained UI. Idk if its just the 3d or the fact that we have like 4000 hours played on MC1 that makes us not like this one as much, but it has a lot of potential. Im sure Ill still find fun with it, and come to get used to it, but in its current state, we think Ill stick to MC1 for a while longer.
We paid for this game and love it. The biggest issues are the pesky bugs and performance, but they improve each update! Keep doing great.
We had the same problem with the first version of this game. There is no clear way to begin building.
Just trying this, whats the loading wait time.
We tried to play the game but the loading takes to much and we can not play the game.
We waited like 8 minutes waiting for it to load.
It appears to be necessary to register on some obscure game server to play the game locally. We are not comfortable connecting to obscure servers, neither do we appreciate games that demand an internet connection to play in single player mode. Not worth the inconvenience or the risk.
Ay this games good and all but like it needs a better modding system and we cant even get mods or make any.
Title says it all, so anyways, this game is buggy, good game, but buggy. Sometimes our gold miners dont move after reaching the gold, so we cant ours gold. The only other bug that effects gameplay and isnt just graphics bugs is when the game lags back out to the loading screen. Overall a great game that you dont have to pay to play. Also, could someone tell us how to give our colony education, we researched it but it did nothing (maybe we dont have the proper resources unlocked?).
We just love the original MyColony! We were excited about this sequel and expecting many new and cool things. So far its just a better looking but dumbed down and far less content version. Plus its wracked with bugs. Miners often fail to ours and sit idle for no reason. The pinch to zoom function sometimes changes on its own to a single finger zoom when it should only move around the map. If you tap on ore or other preloaded ground item or liquid area you do not get any description of what it is at all. Tap on some oreno info. Cant change priorities for building functions like before. Cant simply tap a road to bring up an option to remove. Cant build bridges near borders unless a settlement exists on both sides which is problematic when you cant get to an area to build a settlement without first making a bridge! Oh and the amount of content is meager at best compared to MyColony 1. No casino, no shopping center, cant add decorative anything except a couple road varieties. Ive appeared to have researched everything and theres no upgrades to most small structures. It can be an amazing sequel but at this point in time it is nothing more than a paid beta. If you can live without the over sold 3D aspects then skip the purchase until the game is completed. As is its a few steps backward from the original.
There is a Encyclopedia loads maybe there iPad version just doesnt work it let us place our lander o yes buy premium Im not sure what but Im unable to do anything but be frustrated we were hoping for something just not this.
We cant play the game because Im stuck on the loading screen its the same for the 1st one.
When we try to launch it just infinitely tries to load objects.
Our colony is one of our favorite games, and now a remastered version?! The only flaw is when im modding, we dont have vpp models. So please add more supported model types.
This game is good so far, but Ive run into the issue of it getting stuck on the loading screen and us having to restart our device to fix the issue. Side note. Even when it doesnt get stuck on loading screen when opened, the game can sometimes glitch/lag out back to the loading screen. We give 4 stars because the game is enjoyable to play. Would of given 5 stars if not for the loading screen issue. Please fix. Also we know how heartbreaking bad reviews can be. Dont let them deter you.
We think the game is still in development? Idk! But the Gold Miner Rovers are having a hard time path finding, so we have to do it for them! Is there something Im doing wrong or is it just a bug? Other than that, Im absolutely loving it! Almost sank for hours into it.
The game looks very fun it is just not playable because we get stuck on a infinitely long loading screen and we know what your thinking just uninstall then reinstall ya but we did that 4 times and still the loading screen it would be 5 stars it is just the loading screen bug.
We cant even play the game, it is just loading forever.
Works for the first three or four times we launch the game, after that every time we launch we get an infinite loading screen. We will then have too uninstall and reinstall the game too continue playing.
Honestly we loved it we really had a chill time playing the game and of course its still in development but when its ironed out it will be a great game just for people who love to play these type of games but the only problem we really had is when we try to log in but our colony was to big we had the New York it that colony alone had 4,000 but we know that the developers have great things for the game all we have to give them is time.
Our colony 1 is to much on some planets and stuff especially the entertainment value and jobs this one seems like it has potential to end that madness and make it seem more organized and clean sure it may seem a mess in its current state but our colony 1 takes a crazy genius to understand sometimes.
What we really like about when this game first came out is how you can manage everything up to your colonist name. You can see how many jobs are open and how many and whos jobless. You can also add some policies and all that fun stuff. We really love that this game is 3D but we hope they bring back the full on management colony game we fell in love with from the first game.
Cant do nothing just move the screen around that it.
Its a 3-D pixilated form of the first game whats different.
Not really sure what to say about this its a game just not a good one. Hopefully the developer improves it later down the line.
This game has a lot of potential but its unfinished theres no way to do stuff and there is we could not figure out how but if he added a way to play it we think it would be a good game so just work on it more.
