My Planet Simulation is a Strategy/Simulation game from Brandon Stecklein, first launched in 8th September 2013.
It’s rated 9+ and currently has 207+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes My Planet Simulation Stand Out
My Planet is a virtual simulation game where you take control of a planet and try to grow a healthy and thriving population! It is like a virtual pet or Tamagotchi game on a planetary level. Play God by manipulating the sunlight and the rain in order to grow as large a population as possible.
My Planet runs in real time, even when the the game is closed. Therefore, you must keep checking back throughout the day to make sure your planet is running at optimal levels. The controls are simple to use, by mastery can take weeks. Can you achieve the ultimate goal of growing your planet to over 1,000,000 people? Or will your planet burn under the sun while your people anguish? The choice is yours!
The ultimate goal of My Planet is to grow a happy and thriving population. Your population will continue to grow as long as you have a healthy level of Vegetation on your planet (represented by the green bar). The more vegetation you have, the faster your population will grow. Likewise, if your vegetation levels get too low, your people will starve to death and population will begin to decline.
Vegetation grows when it has the proper amount of sunlight and water. For optimal vegetation and thus population growth, you must try to keep your Sun and Water levels in the sweet spot, indicated by your Sun and Water meters being 50% full. If you have too much sunlight, vegetation will dry up and your people will die. If you have too little sunlight, vegetation cannot grow and your people will starve. Same concept with water. If you have too much, vegetation will flood out and die. To little, and drought will set in. Check your planet every day to make sure you have the optimal amount of sun and water!

First of all your world continues whenever you're off the app.Thats our only problem.
We don't know what to do and it said it was for 4+ it is not.
If you want to do this game easier and faster, do the ">>>" option. You'll like the game better…. And why on our iPad is the name of the app "Web App Core"? THERE IS A PAUSE BUTTON.
The app won't even open like we got and 5 seconds later we open it and then 5 seconds later it goes back to the home screen.
Its not an iOS problem cuz we have the latest but it closes just before it finishes loading dont buy unless they update it Dont buy now.
When we open the game in only a couple seconds it closes.
Please fix your game it closes as soon as we open it it looks like so much fun.
We download the app, and it closes every time we open it within 5 seconds. Don't even get it.
Ios 10.3, really?!?!?! This game has terrible graphics but only people with iphones 6-7 can play it, WOW.
We are a space nerd we like it how they start you off from scatch for us Adam and Eve we love it but make it easier for the points and add more.
It's pretty good the only thing is the one glitch where the planet turns into a weird square.

Descent game has some bugs sometimes the planet disappears, other than that good way to pass time.

It's fun to play with. We always wondered what awesome power god had, it kinda reminds us of gigapetz lol, this you don't feed or bathe though, love the app lots.
So here's the deal. The game takes forever to get full vegetation and it doesn't stay. SOOOOOO FRUSTRATED.

Not even 20 seconds into the game and there's already a pop up ad. We're completely fed up with every single game being full of ads. If you want money, make a game worth money. It's unbelievably scummy and tacky. Let us play a game without throwing advertisements in our face every 2 minutes. Absolute garbage.

Cute idea, but that's about all it is: an idea. This game needs an awful lot of polishing to become worth the download. It reminds us of an old, crappy Newgrounds flash game from the mid-2000's. Fun for about 5 mins and then that's about it. The HUD and mechanics are not very intuitive, which would have been fine if there was a tutorial or some kind of in-game instructions. Instead, you get redirected to a thread on some no-name forum. Even when you have it figured out, it's still extremely frustrating. The buttons are so small and close together, it's hard to avoid clicking the ads. This game could really benefit from some kind of music or sound effects; currently, it's totally silent. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, but ANY kind of audio would add some much needed interest. And we're not one to scoff at sub-par graphics (they can be absolutely charming when done right!), but this game is bordering MS Paint quality work. We were really hoping this was going to be a diamond-in-the-rough, but, for us, it just doesn't pan out. :-/.
App keeps crashing and ADs keep coming at random intervals that aren't necessary. Until fixed, won't play again.
Again, another ape app that crashes during ad transitions. If possible, try to make the game's resolution static. We believe that is the issue.
Dev part:Earth is always in the sun and is not hot so delete the sunlight bar for realism purposes please next week.
This game is really good but all there has been is 1 sattalite and a bunch of houses olso can you add airplanes and add war and something that you can press to see the countrys and flags but the game is great.
This is a really bad gate game maybe its bad to us some people might like it but we do not it is confusing its a waste of time sorry to the designers Im not trying to be mean we just hate this game.
We love this game but we dont know how to create planets and aslo we have 10 million population.
We loved this game ever since the day we downloaded it. The way you get to see your world grow is amazing and so cute! Ive been hoping to see them build airplanes so if the developers are reading this, we suggest you make the people in the planet build airplanes other than sattelites. Other than that we recommend people to download this app. K one more thing, people keep complaining that while their asleep, theyre planet is dead. There is a pause button so that doesnt happen. We think there are some bugs in it because it will never give supplies to the moon it takes our energy and the moon supplies bar is still on zero. Anyway this game is good it just needs more to it. It gets kinda boring after a while of doing the same thing over and over.
So only one thing to say. Can you make it so when you make a pause on the planet on the other planet it can be unpaused bat the other planet it stays paused.
If your like us and have a life you will eventually have to leave. But when you do eventually leave, when you come back everything is dead and you have to start over.
This is, a really good game, we love how little houses appear when you grow your popululation and you are able to create and build on the moon 5 stars.
We like every thing about the game except the moon supplies shipment, Eventually the colonists on the moon need to much supplies and we were wondering if you could make so that the moon colonists could grow food on the moon.
Yall probably abandoned the game but seriously this game is great it just needs some more content. The ability to improve and see progress and add more planets are great. However, the moon is absolutely useless to have when it takes all of your energy to maintain. We wish at a certain threshold like around 1 million living on the moon the colony is able to maintain itself and doesnt need supplies anymore. It severely limits your ability to improve.
The game is sooooo easy to beat we got to 1,000,000 people fast Can you also add some stuff like competing religions so you actually have a challenge in making everyone believing and worshiping you Also why does the god have to supply the moon cant the people send it themselves by rockets or something? The game is fun though so Im giving 4 stars we recommend this game.
It is so hardcore like MEGA hardcore and we wanna have some changes to this game.
The app when we go to open it keeps saying loading and will never load. Ive already tried deleting and redownloading and Im on a XR.
When we sleep THEY ALL DIE so we had to delete it so we did not have to sTAy The WHole Day on That Game and the start is boring though. Maybe you should add wars and maybe add UFO attacks.
We don't know why this game is so addicting! It's a oddly peaceful looking world…also that "please rate this game" was awesome.
