Good game, awesome graphics, storyline. Love the little man. He makes the game fun.

We love when a game is generous with the free trial before having to buy it. This game was what we always enjoyed before hidden items and escape rooms took over. There where plenty of different kinds of things to figure out. Middle of the road difficulty. We thought the little tree buddy was adorable.

We just started the game and am enjoying the story line. We are very impressed about our little helper. He put a smile on our face this morning. Our little helper had a task to complete and when he fell, he got back to dust off his knees. We love the attention detail and the humor. Thanks for the fun game.

We are enjoying this game. Different.

Especially the short skip times. The story was a little convoluted at times and we had to use the hint to see what we need to be doing but still a very nice game.

We are so happy to see a Maria Glorum game once again. These games are always enjoyable to play. Key West Jessa.

This game was better than some much newer ones we’ve played. A plethora of different HOS made it enjoyable. Wish there were more puzzles, but, you cant have everything.

Not to hard! Not to easy! Just right!

Great game- only issue was some of the text in the bonus game was in really broken English.

Awwwww! Thats our first reaction to the adorable little helper in this game! We were rather intrigued however by the option to not play with him without it – so we created a second profile to test and sure enough the game plays the same but not as adorably in our opinion. Something about the cute little guy doing gymnastics in the corner just makes us smile! As for the rest of the game- its not bad! Great artwork, simple but effective map, smooth gameplay. Yes it has a rat but you get to scare it off. Some skeletons and ghosts but not too scary. Verdict: Buy!

We actually found myself TALKING to the little tree helper throughout this lovely game. What a sweet addition that was.

We love working out puzzles of hidden items. Plus the story just doesnt leave you with items that make no sense.

We enjoyed playing however its a little shorter than we would like…

This is such a well-designed game. The storyline was interesting and it has just the right level of clues and puzzles. The artwork (backgrounds, characters, etc) is also great.

We liked this game. We love the little tree guy. It is a fun n game. It just has several things that dont make sense to us. The story line is difficult to understand until the end. We guess they meant it to be that way. The main reason J gav it a 4 star is just some of the things you put together are randomly m and not logical. It is still a fun game.

The puzzles mini games are interesting and not too simple.

Very different type of storyline – on the bizarre side, however we enjoyed the game. Lot’s of tasks were interactive, with some unique puzzles. Collectibles and morphing objects to find, along with a teleporting map. Loved our helper (adorable). This was an option whether or not you wanted to use him. It did not affect the game one way or another. Our personal opinion is that is was a nice addition. Good voiceovers, some pretty wild graphics. Try it and keep an open mind, as it is definitely different for this series. We enjoyed and am glad that we purchased it! One thing that could have been improved on was the tutorial, seemed to leave a lot of aspects of the game out. Happy Gaming Everyone! . Thanks again Big Fish for giving us our 2 New Releases back – AWESOME!!!! KdBoots.

No technical issues on our iPad Mini. Good story, good graphics with okay dialogue. The game went easily enough along and then there were some challenging games and moments that we had to really think about what to do next. We’ve just gotten through the main game which was a good long length. We’re looking forward to planning the bonus.

Note to Dracyy: thank you, our friend, for the heads-up; we knew it was meant for us! At least we got to use a flare! This game was ok, nothing special. You could customize settings. There was a marked teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations, when it functioned properly. The graphics were very muted and lacked clarity but they were still pretty. Collectibles included figurines, clovers and puzzle pieces. We did not see any puzzle pieces! Your objectives, map and achievements were stored under one tab that was a briefcase. Although there was no cohesive journal objectives were regularly updated. The storyline was not original, but the gameplay was enjoyable, except when there were touch sensitivity issues while applying inventory items. The inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. We also experienced some difficulty moving inventory items out of the inventory bar at times. Mariaglorum usually has excellent quality assurance so we dont understand why it wasnt on point in this game. There was an adorable tree sprout to help you out, although using him was optional. This game was not HO- laden, but the HO scenes had variation, with some micro-puzzles embedded as well. There was a decent variety of puzzles/games; some were rotational, there were games of dexterity and skill, codes, something for everyone. There were plenty of tasks to accomplish at each location. One quibble we had was that the zoom locations didnt close on their own. It made the game seem dated, along with the finicky gameplay. This game wasnt very long, even with the bonus adventure. Our true review is 3.5 stars. We deducted stars mainly for inferior graphics and touch screen sensitivity issues affecting inventory usage and placement. There will be a new game out later today and we are praying for something from Domini! Happy gaming everyone!

This premise sets forth a recycled storyline that is devoid of any novel ideas to stimulate one’s imagination. It explores the redundant supernatural theme of investigating the murder of someone killed by a mysterious, evil entity. We thought it was very considerate that the developer let us players decide whether or not we want to be assisted by a helper throughout the game. Of course, our little helper is so adorable that we could not resist letting him tag along! The quality of the graphics is just mediocre, with slightly fuzzy visuals. The Suitcase, containing your map, objectives, etc., does not stay open after closing each individual component; it became quite annoying to have to constantly re-open it. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map facilitates brisk travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick; no glitches to report. The HOSs are interactive and puzzle-like, but they comprise the same run-of-the-mill formats we have seen over the years. The varied puzzles are entertaining and sometimes multi-layered. However, they are very elementary in nature, thus failing to offer any real challenge. There are several sets of collectibles to discover, and they can be found in the close-ups as well. Overall, this game does not knock our socks off. Gameplay is very predictable and linear, and the lack of innovation leaves us with a bland taste in our mouth. This game feels outdated, as if it should have been released two years ago. In addition, moving the inventory items from the bar borderlines on tedium; it takes several tries before our interaction is registered. We suggest you play the free trial before making a purchase. Our true rating is 2.5 stars; but due to the variety of HOSs and puzzles, we’ve raised our rating to 3 stars.

We really enjoyed this game…. Until we didnt. We got almost to the end of the regular game & for some reason wasnt able to get the lever. Hint button was no help. Map showed no locations where there was anything to be done. The walkthrough was no help either, because it gave you no clue on where the lever was supposed to come from. So, we dont finish the game or get access to the bonus game. What a waste of time & money….

Overall, we would recommend this game if you can get it on sale. We would have given this game a higher number of stars because, as we find with most games by Big Fish, the art was beautiful, the storyline was pretty good, and the puzzles were varied and fun. However, we felt that this particular game was rather short. We managed to complete the entire game and the bonus chapter in under four days, which means MAYBE 10-12 hours of gameplay. Had we paid the full price of $6.99, we wouldve been quite upset, but since we got it on sale for $2.99, Im OK with it. Also, there were two puzzles that did not seem to work correctly for us. (I am playing on our iPhone 7 Plus, so we dont know if that had anything to do with it.) we ended up having to skip those puzzles because we couldnt get them to work. They were the same kind of puzzle where you had to match three or more of a kind, one was in the main game and one was in the bonus chapter, but both times nothing we did seemed to allow us to move pieces or do anything other then make the pieces flash.

Only 25 scenes in the main game, maybe 5 in the bonus, so a fairly short game overall. Puzzles were varied, with some arcade style as well. Story could have been better, they never explain why the guy was murdered in the house and where the curse came from, as if they started to take the story in one direction, then changed their mind and went another. Also why would you, the detective, be the missing ingredient in the ritual? Hops were interactive, list, and silhouette. We usually like this developer, but this one felt rushed to production and suffered for it. 3.5 stars rounded down to 3 because its just not a 4 star game to us.

We are having trouble being able to purchase this game. We have a New iPhone 13. Has the last est update. Why can we not purchase this game? Say purchase failed. Please try again. We like this game and would like to purchase. Please help.

Fun game with some pretty original puzzles, but theres a glitch on literally the last task of the main game that can prevent you from finishing and the only remedy is starting over. Not okay.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? Why is there a non stop flow of black bar comments streaming down from the top screen?? It’s so incredibly annoying we finally deleted the game. OMG! MAKE IT STOP! We can’t make a single move without an immediate black bar comment popping down to inform us about the blatantly obvious-every last detail of the situation/scene, the people… It’s MADDENING! Especially in the HOP/puzzles! Its like an unstable crazy person constantly yakking away…. That comes up constantly as we navigate throughout… And there’s NO way to prevent it??!! Why have the Custom level? Even after we opted out of ALL available help- it continues!! And there’s no disable option!? Arrggh! The only thing we want for Xmas: PLEASE REMOVE! Update asap before you drive people insane. Ps: we are seriously questioning the new "Premium Games" rolling out … Immediately following have hundreds of five stars ratings…. Yet less than a fraction have written reviews.

We’ve paid for all of these games and when we go to play them again it doesnt work and there are white boxes all over the screen. Please update and fix this. These games arent worth $7 to play only once.

Okay game but now stuck in bonus game with nothing to do. We have half a staff, a rag and half a crown. Map shows nowhere to do anything and hints says nothing to do here in every room. This getting stuck in these games seems to be happening more and more. A little more time needs to be spent on making sure there are no bugs like this especially for a game that costs $7.

This needs maintenance. More than one sound track at same time. Doesnt run properly.

Task is to remove dome from water of life, but cant get bacteria water of life. Map shows no area with actions to complete and hints show nothing to do here in all areas we can travel to – so paid for game we cant complete.

Based on forum comments, its the usual blame game. The developer sends the user to Apple and Apple sends the user to the developer. We have experienced several bugs in this game. Of course, the only recourse is to reinstall the app. If you paid full price for this game, we feel for you.

The video titles wont play thus unable to play.
