Community Insight:
The entire game doesnt work well with an iPhone. If you move anything from the inventory it thinks you are trying to leave the app. And then in the bonus game in one of the hidden object scenes, you cant move the last of three badges into the boxes at the bottom to unlock the finally box containing the list of objects to find. We would really like to finish the game but we doubt this gets fixed quickly. Good luck. We hope you dont have the same issue.
Whats going on here? Right after the download, you have two very long privacy and policy legal documents that require us to accept before continuing. We understand it covers you but its ridiculous to expect a user to read over 10 pages or more ( we stopped counting) OR to accept your documents unread just to play a game.
We are so glad to have found some games that we dont have! These are great! We especially like the fact that in this game, you can choose NOT to use that stupid dog, ELF! We like the fact that these games are only three chapters. Any more chapters than that, we get bored and restless, and cant wait for the game to end. $6.99 is not too much to pay for such great entertainment! Over the years we have paid THOUSANDS for these games, and have never regretted it. Please keep the games coming.
Short but it packs a powerful punch. We adore elf. Cant get enough of mystery trackers.

One of the things we really liked was the search scene in the chest/toolbox in the Bonus Game where you rotated the search area… And we liked all of the collectibles :-).
After completing the game, we found the storyline interesting, with good character voiceovers & acting. Even though the game was short, there were multiple tasks to complete, as well as collectibles & morphing objects to find. Interactive gameplay, with the usual outstanding graphics from this developer. Hidden object scenes were fun and the puzzles were definitely unique and we found the majority of them challenging. Game flowed very nice, however, we did find the teleporting map was not very helpful and accurate at times. Fellow Gamers: we would definitely play the trial & even pay the high price if we had to do it all over again! Good Mysterious Adventure!!! Elephant & Domini are our very favorite developers! This is another great game by Elephant. The only disappointment is that its very short. We wish they would run a sale like Domini does for the first few days instead of going full price from the start. (Hint.. Hint.. Elephant). Lynxie & Catalina.. Great game no sale price and only 3 chapters again but the game keeps you guessing so to us its worth it.
UPDATE MARCH 28: Attention Gamers! Elephant just released another Mystery Trackers game, Darkwater Bay. However it will not be a lengthy game. That doesnt mean it wont be fun to play though! Next week, towards the end of the week, Artifex Mundi will release Demon Hunter 5. That is an excellent series! Note to Laurie: thank you for your kind words. If you update your review with questions, we or Catalina can respond to you. Unfortunately we dont use social media, and we arent allowed to furnish our email information. If we do so, the App Store deletes our reviews! On to the game. Elephant gave us the usual bells and whistles. You could customize settings, the teleport map enabled immediate transport between locations, and there were plenty of complex items. Objectives were regularly updated. The graphics were a bit sharper in this game as opposed to the last one. Collectibles included puzzle pieces, morphing objects, and costumes for your tiny assistant, Elf. The storyline involved teleportation and the occurrence of a parallel universe, a nice change from evil entities stealing souls in their quests for immortality. As per this developer, there were not that many locations but a plethora of tasks at each one. The HO scenes had some variety, but none was extremely novel or unusual; however we still found them enjoyable. The puzzles/games were mostly of the simplistic rotational variety; we believe we need more labyrinths and mazes. At least there was a varying degree of difficulty so that novice players as well as seasoned gamers could work on the puzzles. As to the length, this game was longer than the last few; it was over a gig. We are not saying that for the price we arent entitled to a longer game; we are saying that when you are enjoying the addictive gameplay from this developer, time flies by extremely quickly. Our true rating will be 4.5 stars. We deducted a half star for the hefty price tag attached to the length of the game and for a slight lack of innovation. The game is ridiculously short. Looooong on videos, short on story. We should have listened. Its a nice game, but its like they were rushing or forgot to finish it.
The game plays well, but the length is unacceptable given the cost of the game. While it is nice to have a new game to play, we feel that this was overpriced and not that much fun. Please give us your usual quality and we will support you.
