Find out what gamers are saying about Myths of the World: The Heart of Desolation – A Hidden Object Adventure (Full):

Some frames are just downright gorgeous.

This game was so much fun! The graphics were fantastic and it lasted a long time! Loved it!

We love these games, especially the stories that can be named historical fiction.

Myths of the World takes us to the Far East this time. Facing foes of Dragons and Tera Cotta Warriors while seeking help from the good Dragons. Storyline is original while incorporating stories from the region. Gorgeous scenery exquisite artwork and various and interesting HO types. Keep your eyes peeled for morphing objects in HO, and inscribed bamboo sticks in every scene. Mahjong alternative available in HO. The only downside is no diary, and the history plays out during mini games which we sometimes skip if having a bad migraine day (like today) and so unfortunately we’re missing out on the back story. Transporting indicated map, labeled inventory but no diary. No custom difficulty but no vermin either. Lots to enjoy and the artwork is superb! Myths of the World get better with every one they do. Verdict: enjoy!

Love this game. Very easy to maneuver between scenes. HOS are varied, challenging but easy to see. Like the extra collectables and morphing objects. Very long game play. A WINNER!

Please make more like this, was sooo entertaining!

This game is beautiful, with many Asian designs. You are fighting an evil Dragon who escaped his prison. The Terracotta Warriors are also trying to stop you. However, you possess the golden Heart of the Dragon, which gives you control over him. Colors are beautiful, and puzzles are exquisite. This is an Eipix game, so you know all the controls function well. We have only begun the game, but we are intrigued. In each scene, you are also collecting Asian language sticks. Various characters, like the beautiful and secretive Mu, appear to assist you in your puzzle solving. Hidden Objects include things like finding the answer to a riddle and completing objects (teeth plus whole apple equals apple core.) Purchase now to while away a rainy spring day!

Great game… Loved playing it… We’ve played lots and lots of big fish games and some of them are boring or too glitchy but this one was smooth and lots of fun!

Well done, Eipix! Beautiful game, nice and long, priced better, at least on initial offering . Way to go!

Great game, beautiful graphics, interesting story and the length of the game is perfect. Love it.

It is good game. We are not finish on that. We thought to give the rating on how good game is. We enjoy the storyline and eastern. Graphic is cool.

Very enjoyable game. Look forward to more like this one.

This game was a lot of fun. BEAutiful graphics. The game lasted a long time too.

Note to Dracyy: thanx for the vermin update; we can play relaxed. We too get migraines! You need to try Maxalt-MLT 10 mg orally disintegrating tablets. After 15 minutes all signs of a migraine are gone; the sensitivity to light and sound, the nausea, and of course the excruciating headache. You will need a prescription. We would send you one but we won’t prescribe out of state because the laws are so strict now. However this is not a controlled substance but it is pricey! But it’s also the best! We promise you that! Also let’s welcome Snooper back to the Dream Team Elite. She had a pacemaker implanted and she’s starting to game again. We got a lovely message from her! We are happy that she is doing well! On to the game. EIPIX at their best! Interesting storyline, absolutely gorgeous Asian graphics, stunning and magical cut-scenes. Lots of locations, with instantaneous loading between them, and a marked teleport map to get you there. At each location find a collectible bamboo shoot. Three levels of difficulty, a non-spoiler hint system. Inventory was labeled, and there were the always fun plus items to assemble. The HO scenes were varied, with morphing objects in those alone. If you didn’t feel like doing the HO scene, you could play mahjong instead. Lots of different puzzles, some rotational (don’t love) and others not. Something for everyone. You get some wallpapers and a souvenir room in the bonus section. This game was well-tested and played flawlessly. We are not deducting a star, but we wish EIPIX could have given us a map tab so we wouldn’t have to go to the menu, as well as a journal. We also wish the game had been a little longer, even though it did give us a bonus chapter, because we enjoyed it so much! These are the types of games we should always get! Big shout out to the Dream Team Elite! If you want to play a cute and different sort of game, G5 has a good one. It’s Royal Trouble: Hidden Honeymoon Havoc. It’s pricey but very funny and not your typical HOG! Lynxie sends to all!

Such an outstanding game! Gorgeous graphics, wonderful unique hidden object scenes and puzzles. Teleporting map. Storyline, music is totally captivating! A must buy!!! Sorry to see this game end – Hope to see more games of this quality. A huge thank you to the developers and Big Fish for such an enjoyable gaming experience. KdBoots.

Very fun and lengthy game plus a bonus chapter. Some mini games are harder than others and the riddles in HO games are fun and imaginative. Teleport map and labeled inventory means you get to play instead of guess what to use or do next. Hints and dialogue are easy to follow and the graphics are gorgeous.

We really enjoyed this game. We thought the way they split up the HOS was clever and interesting. On a different note, please give us back the free trials. Not all games are as good as this one and so we don’t buy every game we try. And we know you needed to do a price increase, but double the price on the iPhone version?? Ok back to playing fun games.

The plot is great. Enjoyed the different style of HOS. Did not care for the many mini games where if you change one object it changes several other seemingly random objects. Really fun overall!

We guess it’s the most beautiful game, that we have ever played by Epix, so we leave 5 stars here, though after finishing it we wanted to reduce it to 4 … Too many glitches in the mini games, unfortunately. The graphics, the animation, the colors, the music, the landscapes, the costumes are just amazing! It’s also a nice touch, that you can play Majong both instead of HOPs and in the Extras… The game is perfect, but the story is a little bit boring. Anyway, it’s absolutely worth to buy it !

The graphics is amazing. We wish we could play this game in VR and just walk around this magical world. Long story line and interesting puzzle games. You knocked it out of the park Big Fish!

Finally a play through from BF without any glitches or issues. Interesting and unique. Thank you Eipix! Minus a star for BF’s darn pop-up asking for a rating. Another plea to player Lynx.. Please.. Ratings only here. Save the chat for other forums. Several folks have requested the same.

We thought the game was gorgeous and unique, but a little pricey for the gameplay length. Also we like to be able to do a trial first instead of shelling out upfront sight unseen. But in this case, the risk was more or less worth it. There were some cool extras, too.

The setting takes place in the Himalayas, and a realistic oriental fusion is incorporated into the environment. The scenery is embellished with Asian designs and themes appropriately related to nature, such as the mountainous peaks, pagodas with their tiered towers, and old temples; other traditional details, such as hanging lanterns, lily ponds, and Asian sculptures and masks are filled in throughout. We like the focus on the Chinese dragons, which are legendary creatures in Asian mythology and Chinese folklore. The graphics reflect the colors of nature and the landscape itself; there is emphasis on a palette of vibrant colors, such as pinks, reds, and purples to create an oriental ambiance. You have an added element of using a Golden Heart to scare off those nasty dragons; you will charge it by matching symbols. There are three modes of difficulty exclusive of the option to customize your settings. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and puzzle-like. The teleport map will indicate available tasks and/or objectives depending on mode of difficulty. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick. You have an eye symbol to let you know where you can manually travel, and location names are noted. Unfortunately, there is no journal to read the story. The HOS are fun and varied; they contain items relative to the Asian theme. You have word lists with interaction ending with a twist, such as a riddle or finding an "end-result" object in accordance with two paired, similar objects. You also have silhouettes to find. The puzzles are varied as well; an example is when you have a trio of puzzles in sequence, such as connecting/rotating tiles to connect tubes, which then initiates another puzzle where you adjust water levels and path blockers to move a ball through a maze. You collect Bamboo sticks in the locations and morphing objects in the HOS. The extras include souvenirs, replay of puzzles, and a Mahjong game. This game had an interesting storyline, including a nice change in scenery and theme. There is also a nice variation for the puzzles and HOS. We gave the game four stars because there was no back button (one was needed), no customized settings (tapping penalties and sparkles in second mode), and accessing the map through the menu. Still a great game to play!

Just started the game and so far am enjoying the graphics. The the first HOP was great – 3 parts – straight forward search, picture association, and riddles. However having to exit the scene to access the map is a huge pain. And each time you tap on a location you get a pop-up. Really?

Chapter three, can’t proceed because chain and gear won’t connect. Second game we’ve bought lately that has a glitch and prevents completion of the game. Help, anyone? Liked the game very much up to this point.
