We would highly recommend this game for the story line and play time are perfect! This game took us a couple days compared to some that take us a couple hours! We really enjoyed this one and recommended it to many friends.
We paid for a VERY GREAT game for once. The hops are all a little unique to play. Plenty of good story telling. Collectibles as well as HOPs with morphs in them. Smooth gameplay for most part. The puzzles are very challenging. One we will mention is the lamp puzzles. They get harder the farther you go. We thoroughly enjoyed this one!!!
Not so bad… Just playing the demo… Not sure if we’ll buy it… So far so good?
A short trial is true. Still worth purchasing but these games are getting pricey- really-$7.99 for some? It’s only made us buy less games. The game does have great graphics &? Puzzles. Creative. Try to buy on sale. P.S we think we purchased this game already, too. Going to check our receipts. It’s too familiar. Hope these games are not being "re-packaged"…
This is an older game, so there is no custom difficulty option. Story is a bit different from the norm, but still the usual thwart the villain. Fairly long game. Puzzles range from very easy to moderately difficult. Some hos are frogs, most are list, silhouette, and match the pairs. There are collectible acorns (why acorns??) in each scene, and morphing objects in most of the hos. It was very irritating when the story book would skip ahead 2 pages instead of one, so you miss parts of the story. Eipix shows some originality in their puzzles. Solid 4 star game.
Some of the mini games are hard to figure out. You end up skipping them because you do not understand how to solve. Needs explanation!
Update: we saw the 4.5 out of 5 rating, and was going to buy it, BUT whoever did the math needs to go back to school! Two-1s, two-2s, two-4s, and one-5 does NOT give a rating of 4.5!!!!! Do you think your customers are stupid? Go back to school! You say you have 36 ratings. We clicked on "see them all." There are only 7! Duh! First review: You barely start the trial version and it’s over! How do we judge from that? We didn’t understand what we were supposed to do with the map through the marsh, so we had to skip it. After seeing the answer, we understand the poorly written directions. Going into town was odd, why have to push your way through the crowd? Is there a map? Don’t know. It the short trial, we didn’t need it. How’s the hint? We don’t know. No need to use it. The graphics are nice. It looks like it MIGHT be okay, but we disliked the HO scene where items are hidden behind others. We find that annoying, not challenging.
We bought this game.. Wanted to see if it would register.. NOPE!! Says we never purchased… What a joke!! We have receipt saying we did and game open on iPad!!!! Reporting to BBB!!!!! Scammers !!!!!
Stupid story line, horrible mini-games and really bad HOSes. This game not only boarded us, but it is dark and dreary with cheap graphics.
