Laura James, an adventurous reporter, starts her own investigation on the mysterious vanishing of the mafia bosses and the forthcoming children kidnapping.
New York Mysteries: Secrets of the Mafia – an adventurous hidden object game-quest with puzzles and mini-games that tells a detective story revealing the secrets of the mafia and New York itself.
New York, 1955. It’s become dangerous in the city. The mafia is trying to seize power. But recently, a new force appeared. A far more terrible force. Over the last few days, five mafia bosses have disappeared in mysterious circumstances. A strange liquid and a butterfly were found at the scenes of the disappearances. But this isn’t what scared the citizens… Children started to disappear in the city. All of them drew exactly the same butterflies before they disappeared. Laura James, a reporter with the ‘Daily News’, gets down to her own investigation. She will have to find the team mates, reveal a lot of secrets and solve plenty of puzzles to find out the truth. What dark secrets are hidden in the underground tunnels? Will the main character manage to solve the challenging task and save the ones who disappeared?

Game and graphics are absolutely awesome!
We have completed all four of the NY mystery series and am now working through the Lost Land series. They are all great stories with a few really tough puzzles. We’ve not been able to complete any yet without checking YouTube for hints. We’ve found it helps to keep a notepad showing which items are still open from each room, because as we progress through the rooms we forget where some things are located.
What an awesome, entertaining, mysterious, challenging and rewarding game!!! Its not super easy but its not boringly hard either. We love the story line, the hunt and the find. How you guys can continue to put out these great puzzles in a war zone is beyond us but we are impressed. We have 1-3 and fixing to get #4 after this review. If possible keep them coming. 1 question? Is it better for you guys that we purchase the CE game or the regular one where we pay for clues/hints? Great to help you out in anyway we gamers can! We loved the game and especially the puzzles. Some puzzles are challenging which is okay and enjoyed. The only con is that once we find an object, we would have a hard time finding what to do next with the objects found. For example, the ghost lake part, we struggled a few times on where to tap the found object to what area. Like the diving suit. We had to use a few hints. We really enjoyed the game though. Thanks!
A great combination of puzzles and hidden item. We did buy $5 worth of hints, but mostly bc the story locations jump around and we tend to forget where certain puzzles are. 100% recommended!!
This was an excellent game to play and usability was well done. We did forget some of our location jump backs but watching an ad to get a hint was easy enough. We like very much that if we were stuck we were able to earn points to skip a puzzle. We liked the variety of the stories and the challenges were just right. A deserved five stars.
Fun game! We played the first one and we just finished this one. Its challenging and fun! We love that you can play at your own pace because you dont need energy. Definitely recommend if you enjoy mystery games.

We struggle with depression and anxiety in this game, help us center myself, and relax myself to where we wasnt constantly thinking and constantly worrying. We really enjoyed the hidden objects and using your eyes and then also the little mind challenging puzzles that you have to figure out and put together with everything else within the ply of the game. Best game ever.

Just the perfect level of challenge and simple relaxation. Been playing games like this a long time, yet this one still manages to bring in pretty creative mini-games. Im not confused on the story line or where to go next. Well done!
This is an awesome game but un the collection you cannot keep track of the phantom objects like you can the collection items in the collections change that please.
This is on the easier side when it comes to puzzle games.
A little toohard, too much back and forth between scenes.
Because the key we need is already collected, but in the object tray, its under the fraction 3/4 and we cant interact with that tray of collected items unless the items are placed on far left side. But the key we got with the magnet went to the far right in the object tray and now we cant use it to open the last box. What am we doing wrong?
We have got that puzzle figured out over and over. But the game refuses to move forward. How am we going to finis this ? We have got it right many times. Even took a pitureofis just to make sure. Help?.?? I.

This overall was the funnest game and super solid game without glitches. Storyline was cheesy but we look past it for the sake of the game. We enjoyed the video animations of the story and voice work. There is only one other that can hang with this one in regards to game play and graphics we’ve beat yet. Hope you make more. Great puzzles different varieties. No time limits super fun.
We have been looking for a game to replace the room game series and am pleased to have found this game and the developer. We almost passed it over bc we are not a fan of in app purchases but am glad we took a chance. The artwork is beautiful, the puzzles are plenty hard and so far, we have managed with just a few hints. We look forward to playing the other games by this developer.
We really enjoyed playing this game. We really like that you dont need to collect energy to play like other games. You can take your time & really enjoy yourself! We were able to unlock the bonus content and we were able to play that for free as well. Im already looking for our next adventure!! And there are no Ads!

This app was amazing, five stars, until half way through the game, the hints button started glitching. It only let us use it zoomed in on things or in mini games, making it useless. However, that may have been just our phone!
We like these types of games the most because it exercises the mind, makes you think. After playing this game a number of days we found it gets more involved where you obtain more tools while having more areas to solve. Before too long we found myself lost trying to determine what/where the next clue was, including mystery clues. The further we were able to advance into the game while having to use hints the more we found myself lost in the game. Im not an unintelligent person, we just dont like games that tax you to the point you loose interest. We dont know if Im going to continue this game. We may break away for a while. We would like to try playing their other mystery games but theyre probably like this one. We want to clarify that we do like games like this. And while its set up so players can buy coins etc. To advance you also made it where one can advance by watching videos. This is much better than some other who dun it games who make theres so if you dont spend any money it would take six months to finish. So we give credit for that. Not everyone is rich to be able to dish out ridiculous amounts of cash to finish the game. But at the same time the games dont need to be so complicated youre left lost and guessing at each new scene, having to literally touch every part of the screen to find something becomes tiresome and causes you to loose interest. Its all about balance. Its a good game, they just need to be more balanced. We will check out your other games hoping it sparks interest in a different way.
Game play is bad, hints are worthless, and because they are you could literally spend $100 or more for nothing. This is a pure grab for cash. The developer should be ashamed of themselves. RUN AWAY!

This is hard enough that you will need hints along the way but also it works your brain to find the things you need to get things done. We love it.

It was pretty intriguing. Good story line.
We love escape games and this one is so high quality. The puzzles are hard enough to not be easy but not too hard where you need to look it up. Most things are fully animated and you dont need to spend any money to fully complete it.
We have done the New York Mysteries 1-4 and am now on Lost Lands 1. For the last New York Mysteries, we bought their $6.99 version. We didnt have to bother with paying for hints as we got stuck. Only on the 2nd Mysteries was we able to complete the whole thing with just a few hints. It is well worth it to us to pay for the paid versions. These games are well done and recommend them. Their website shows many of these games they have made. They are also a company out of Ukraine and we would gladly support a company from there and they are fantastic as well.
Great game. Easy to follow yet challenging without pressuring your brain after work. We would like to see more of the same.
