We played this when it came out, but realize we never left a review. Im in our 30s and still spent a better part of a summer playing this with friends comparing scores and combos trying to see who could get the best score. The music, the art, the feel, everything in this game is perfect. You can play it casually for 2 minutes or try to get perfect combos and high point totals. We remember we were listening to Mr. Morale a lot when this came out. Skating thinking about Eckart sitting outside in the sunshine. Thanks for all the amazing memories.
We love this game. We have beat half of it in a weekend just playing nonstop. The only complaint is that we wish there was more levels and characters to unlock. If you like DOWNWELL, youll love this.
If youre bored with nothing to do, this game is perfect! Its a good fun time unlocking different customizations and it makes time pass by fast for us. Well worth the money imo.

Great stress free game with no annoying requests to buy additional in game content. So glad there are still developers there who respect their users' time and money.
- Essentially, more – Id love more maps (possibly a full city map), after about a week we beat the whole game, we still enjoy playing it, although Id love to have new goals to work for. – More pallets, we absolutely love pixelated games that make you earn color pallets instead of character cosmetics or game upgrades – Character options, as much as we prefer the color pallets, we think it would be really cool to have the color pallets + character choices. Maybe include a bio about each character, maybe one with a long board, who knows. We just want to see more, that all. Hope these guys keep working.
Controls could be a little better but other than that its a great game very fun has different stages and themes.
This is a great game ! We love the style, music, and simplicity makes it even more enjoyable! The only thing we can add: please make more levels!! (skate park?) anyways, 5 stars all the way worth it but it now.
This game was so unique and simple, we tried for an hour trying to find a game similar to it, but couldnt, we are currently still looking through different side scrolling games like this one as we write this. It would really help end our search if the games developers could make a sequel, we also noticed this is there first game theyve made, so good luck and great start.
This is one of our favorites on iOS. We would love to see more levels added in the future or a sequel at some point. Looking forward to what Odd Animal releases next.
Really fun game! Well worth the money, but we really wish there were more levels.
A nice little game to pass the time with. Its a tad frustrating at times when something unavoidable breaks your combo but super satisfying when you manage a long streak. The other levels beside the first one are challenging but not to the point of becoming rage inducing. Theres also fun environmental interactions that give the levels more depth. Hope theres some sort of update or dlc to add more levels/rewards.
So never ever ever write reviews but this game slaps hard folks! So easy to play and learn, just enough of an edge to make it hard but not too hard. The esthetic is impeccable, smooth graphics or pixel does not effect gameplay at all. Love the little unlocks with color schemes and music. 10/10 great time killer for those times you need to waste but immediately draws you into a longer experience you wont want to put down.
Do seaside town with the purple night palette and the tiptoe trouble music.
Ive been addicted to it for a while now its so good! Pls pls pleeeeaase add more maps to unlock! Ive already managed to unlock all three and Id love to see more in the future. All in all this is simply great.

Time spent playing night skate is super mellow and fun, while keeping you hooked with randomly generated levels and a decent skill cap needed for high scores. This game made us believe we could like phone games. Thanks devs.
For a $3 game with no strings attached, Id say its well worth it. Its addicting, casual, has great music and pixel art, and is just a vibe. We wish there were a bit more options in settings, and we also feel like this game would be great on Apple Watch. Still, this is definitely going in our daily-play folder.

This game has everything we want in a mobile game – portrait orientation, single button, unlockable palettes, and vibes. This is an absolute steal at 2.99, will support everything these guys come out with.
This game is genuinely GOATed. Its like $3 and theres no micro transactions or annoying mechanics. Very fun and nostalgic.

This game is one of a kind. We think in many ways its unique due to the arcade style. The game manages to keep you hooked even tho youre simply working towards a high score and unlocking simple things to make it more enjoyable. We think some minor cosmetic things that you could work for would be a great addition to the game to still keep it at its core but give the player a more connected feeling to the game. Like being able to unlock different characters by doing certain tasks would give a simple grinding aspect. More levels that bring you back to the cities would be fun to see too. Even a level with like cars driving by that you could grind on or something like that would be interesting to see. Game is amazing as is. Seeing how the future goes for its development is definitely intriguing. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY.

Its everything you want in a good mobile game. Number one, it doesnt feel like a mobile game. You also just pay one price with no subscriptions or ads to constantly bog you down. It feels like something that shouldve been released on game boy or Nintendo DS years ago. It has satisfying gameplay, a gorgeous art style and a catchy chip tune soundtrack. This game, put simply, has soul and passion dripping from everywhere. Given it a try, you wont be disappointed.
Literally wouldnt stopped till everything was unlocked. You guys did good! Everything about this worked. Take that same philosophy into anything your making and youll bound to be as successful.
The game was recommended to us by someone close to us but the $3 made us kind of skeptical but it is actually a lot of fun and definitely worth the money.
We looked at the game a while back and didnt know if we should get it or not, but we got it yesterday and its definitely worth the money. We do wish there were more areas to play in. We do enjoy playing the first one you unlock, seaside town, but the others feel kind of jumbled and we dont find them as appealing. We hope they add more areas like seaside town that are in more urban areas. We also hope they add more color options where the colors dont blend together as much, which we feel like adds to the jumbled feeling on some of the maps. All in all its a quite enjoyable game and we would recommend it to anyone. We assume there will be more updates in the future with more maps. Great game thanks dev.
What starts off as a simple endless runner with a single button turns into a game with incredible depth. The first level gets you used to the mechanics of the game, but when you enter the forest level you quickly realize there is a lot more going on and that that first level had prepared you for whats to come. Looking forward to the 3rd level in this game.
We love the style and design choices in this game. The soft mode feature and the different color palettes really show the care put into it to create that game boy / arcade style. Only thing we would add is customizable characters and/or skateboards unlocked through distance or score maybe.
We love the simplicity and the nostalgic feel to it is so spot on, the music, the sounds, the art style. Its perfect, it reminds us of when we were younger, playing our sisters gameboy. Definitely worth 3 bucks, easily one of the most solid and most polished mobile games ive ever played.
Perfect game to play on your commute, aesthetically gorgeous, satisfying mechanics, easy but challenging enough to not get bored. Wide variety of music, and colors to match your mood. Hope it blows up.
If you like Game Boy-style pixel art mobile games that are endlessly replayable and beautifully-crafted, you should definitely buy this now! We love that you can select different color palettes and there's a "soft static" mode that makes it look sorta blurry like you're playing a game in an old arcade cabinet at a pizza place or watching a VHS tape in a dream. Very aesthetic, with a sweet soundtrack! We subscribed for news updates on their website and can't wait to see what games these guys make next.
We just collected all of the achievements/ collectibles for all three maps. We had a lot of fun with this game and got really good at stringing together combos. We hope the team makes more maps and maybe a scoreboard to compete with others to give it more replay ability. Overall we really enjoyed the game and recommend it to those who want a fun game they can pick up whenever.
This game is awesome! A super good idea, simple but tough, horribly addicting, awesome music, amazing art, well executed mechanics. We mean really devs, this is a mobile gem. Really a gem overall. Great job, truly. Put it on Nintendo Switch! And keep adding content! Maybe more levels, more palettes and tunes to unlock, and maybe the ability to manually do a couple different tricks. Like a double tap for a special or something. Anyway, awesome game, great job, cant wait to play again.
We love this game its great and the aesthetic is amazing. We downloaded this about 2 years ago and fell in love with it, we came back because we havent been able to find something like it, we really wish they could add more levels/stages tho.
Too short, the games too short. Theres no story or anything and it doesnt really need one but theres only three levels, some color palettes, and about 5 songs. We unlocked everything in only three play sessions. Thats our only issue, the game itself is extremely chill and is great if you want to play a quick round or two. Its an extremely small game thats pretty much just a refined version of the google dinosaur game, it just needs MORE.

Fun endless runner, but we really wish it had more levels and content. Perhaps another gameplay element besides jumping as well. Still, its a fun arcade game that has provided us with hours of entertainment already.
This game goes above and beyond for capturing that inner childhood wonder and love for simplistic games growing up. The amount of love and care that went into the graphics. The animations, and the overall gameplay is more than telling and we cant not stress how much we enjoyed playing. The only downside is, we enjoyed playing this game so much when we got to the final level, we were floored because it was nothing else left and was left wanting more. More levels colors pallets heck maybe even a character swap or an endless mode that changes location. But asking is just asking as for the game and what is available its well worth the price. We strongly suggest for anyone to pick it up and give it a play.

Cool game but the sound stopped working after a few days.
Would be an epic game. If u pause the game several times and when you skate for too long the game starts glitching. The space bar glitches or gets more delayed .. When you jump it holds you back (like your skater girl goes behind the screen) and then catapults forward which often makes u loose 500+ points.
