A Glimpse into Nonograms Unlimited

Do you love Nonograms, but are sick of apps with a limited number of puzzles and strange rules for "buying" new ones? With Nonograms Unlimited, you can play as many puzzles as you like, as often as you like. There are no in-app purchases, nor is there any limit on when and how often you can play.

Choose from 8×8, 10×10, 12×12, 15×15 or 20×20 puzzles generated to be challenging, but not frustrating. These puzzles are the perfect coffee break for your mind.

The simple game design in this app makes it easy to mark up the grid. You can also choose between seven different color schemes. There is a mode that will show your mistakes, which is great for learning and also when you want to figure out where you went wrong. There is also a special pointer mode to make it possible to play 20×20 puzzles even on a small screen.

User Reviews on Nonograms Unlimited

The interface is clean, uncluttered, easy to use and the games span the gamut from medium to challenge if, which we really like. Errors are not revealed unless we want to check our progress (which is perfect for me) and we can also pick the size of the board to play. We’ve used other Nonograms before but in our opinion this is the best we’ve found.

There is nothing we can say that hasnt already been said, this game is perfect.

We love this game and have been playing for a solid year, but some of the ads dont allow us to play our music while we play the game we would pay for an ad free version in a heart beat.

Nice basic game. We would prefer more game play options be made available, such as auto fill or ability to use a directional pad. If options such as these were added would be a GREAT game.

Best nonograms game out there! We dont need it to make pictures, so this is great. We would love to use it on our iPad without rotating.

Interface is simple and intuitive. Nothing unnecessary getting in the way of gameplay. Our only complaint is that every puzzle is too easy. We feel like we’re on autopilot going through these. It’s missing those types of puzzles where when you first look at them you think you can’t even put a single tile down, but then when you find the one possible starting point, you feel like a supergenius.

The listing ssys that its compatible with our phone, but clearly it doesnt function as intended on our device. Solved the first puzzle easily as it was an 8×8, the little squares started dancing and then nothing. At all. The only button that works returns you to the menu where you can restart that puzzle or resume it. Which tells us that the app doesnt consider the puzzle solved. Except that it clearly is as, and if it wasnt y.

Need to distract yourself for a while. This little addictive game fills the bill. 8×8 grid for a quick chill out, up to 20×20 for when you have more time. Easy to learn, and elegantly simple.

If you like Sudoku but dislike keeping track of where each number is, this is your game. Deceptively simple to learn but difficult to master. We know that phrase has been used before, but it really fits this game. Each square on the finished grid will contain either an X or a block. Your job using the clues for each row and column is to fill in the grid completely. Sounds easy, but is mind boggling. Great game.

LOVE this game! We’ve spent many hours on this app! Great puzzles that range from easy to hard. LOVE the navigation! We’ve played a bunch of the nonogram games and this one has the best navigation by far. Very easy to maneuver. Love the option to turn on Show Mistakes only when needed. It has banner ads but no full length ads. The banner ads are small enough that they dont interfere with game play but are seen. The only thing Id change is to make the main gridlines (for instance, gridlines at 4 and 8 on 12×12 grid) a little darker just for ease of vision and play.

Everything is great! The optional color schemes are awesome! Only thing we would fix would be iPhone X compatibility. The buttons on the bottom of the screen are too close to the Home line indicator and can cause some problems when switching between the Xs and Squares.

We absolutely love this game. Great ui. No issues.

For people who just want the satisfaction of a straight logic puzzle without gimmicky pictures and other non-sense, this is for you. Great job of limiting fat finger errors with the user interface and a great straight forward puzzle game.

We just downloaded this a few days ago and we have played it for hours at a time. We have never cared for Sudoku, but this is great!

Fun and challenging game to help you keep your mind sharp. The strategies Ned logic of "if this then that" are very engaging. Lots of levels to choose from as well.

There are barely any adds, we can listen to music while in the app, all puzzles are free, some harder than others, its absolutely AMAZING. We have been searching so hard for puzzle apps like this, because we love these puzzles, and we’ve finally found the right app. And, if you are thinking about getting this app, and are reading this, GET IT. It is great, we have no complaints.

The title says it all. We never get tired of playing. Each puzzle is unique and nearly all of them are solvable. We’ve only skipped out of a few and we’ve played hundreds. The interface is simple and direct, and Im grateful that they havent tried to make pictures out of the squares, but just let them be random.

This is a great little puzzle game! Using logic, you have to determine if your box is filled or empty. Deceptively simple, but we warn you, you will waste hours figuring out the larger grid puzzles. If you like Sudoku, Minesweeper, and similar puzzle games, youll love this game.

We used to love this app but then it started showing us constant ads for the NRA. Developers responded to our review & fixed it!

If youre listening to music in the app, it will randomly stop playing part way thru the game apparently for an ad or something. This needs to be fixed.

Haven’t had a puzzle result in an image thus far. Easy puzzles even on the highest difficulty(size). Some redesign where finished columns/rows auto-x themselves out once you’ve filled in all the spaces, would increase ease of play.
