What Makes NoStranger Stand Out
NoStranger is not a game, it's a conversation.
As the app opens, you receive a message from a stranger.
But by the end of your experience, you will know his name, his motivation, and his dark secret.
You will be led on a user-choice-driven narrative; searching through blogs, contacting the story’s characters, and scouring social media websites to find out more. Through real-time conversation, you will delve deep, and sometimes not so deep ;), exploring the interconnectedness of our virtual world.
With inspiration from titles such as LifeLine and Her Story,

We have this conversation every once in a while. We always changes us after and we love it so much for that. What we wouldnt give for more of this and more of Adam.
We played it once over two or three years ago, and we always think about it from time to time. The arg aspect makes it so much memorable and unique.
TLDR: play it when youre in a good headspace and youre good to go lol. This game is intriguing. You have to use resources outside of the game, real world maps and emails to get answers. The character is great, and the way you can play the more open parts of the game can lead to interesting conversation. Genuinely enjoyable. But not in a yay fun way. More in a- we keep checking our phone to see if hes answered type of way. Its very engaging. But dark. We hate to be this guy, but we have to. Nothing negative against the game, its seriously great. That being said – suicide trigger warning. Which we feel like is obvious and not really a spoiler because the screenshots in the App Store mention someone jumping off a building right away. We want to word this in a way where we avoid spoilers, and we dont know if maybe if we had played it differently how it would have gone but possible spoiler if youve ever had someone in your life who suffers from severe depression/suicide attempts.. You know that feeling when youre worried about them and you call and text and they just randomly stop answer l and you feel helpless ? Just prepare yourself for that helpless feeling. Its overall worth it cause its just a game. But we do know when our friends suicide was recent, that feeling would throw us off for like a week. If anything kudos to the creators. You guys made a real piece of art here. Truly.

Im just overs here like DUUUDDE REALLY THATS THE END AAAAA we NEEEED MOOORE plus like who just leaves there freaking friend and shows them on top of a building WONDERING IF THERE FRIGGEN DEAD AAAAA he literally gives us a riddle you see a man on top of a building he looks like hes about to JUMP do you care OF COURSE we CARe YOU CANT JUST LEAVE ME LIKE BRO DUDE COME OOONNN graaaaaa our brains in pain theres got to be a 2nd one if theres not Im finna cry we were alone before now we have Adam we know hes an AI but we had someone to talk to for a while and now hes goneMk so its a good game we love the fact that you can enter your name and your stuffs that sounds bad now but who gives there real name and age on a game and that theres a whole thing on YouTube and google and to put that much effort into a game is just.. Wow we dont see a lot of games like this its quite frankly great you get a anyway Do you think you could make more games? We think they would be good games fun like this game we hope you have a great day.
This game was unlike anything Id ever played before. We cant quite remember the exact ending and storyline, because it was probably about 2-3 years ago that we played. We remember it well enough to know that – not a spoiler! – the ending will leave you questioning it all and conflicted about what youve just done; who it is that this stranger truly was. Its incredibly interactive with the stranger needing your help for a variety of different tasks… For example, at one point he needs to get into a building in NYC and you actually have to use Google Maps to see his location and provide him with the answer as to what you think would be the safest way to sneak in. What we remember most are three things: the fantastic storytelling, the enhanced feeling of real interaction by questions asked/tasks given, and the twist of an ending. Actually, Im going to download this and play this again. Its been such a long time that Ive forgotten a lot of it now (just havent forgotten how much we loved it). Seriously, give it a try. We very highly doubt youll regret it.
This game is one of the best games Ive ever played on mobile. You really get connected to the character in so many ways. We absolutely love the scavenger hunt vibe to it. 100/10 would play a million times!! We hope the developers make something new! Love it.
But fun so far. Its so interesting, because we thought it would just be a text story where we only interact with the in game person, but they have really cool ways of getting you invested such as sending you to a website and sending you to real locations on google maps. Im really getting invested now.
We genuinely felt grief, we already miss it. If you play this game know you are in for some sadddddd stuff. Its so interesting, cause no matter what you did, there was no happy ending. It hurts but from a writer pov Im in love.
The best game Ive ever played. The story is fantastic and its so involved. Its so real so it hits hard. Amazing and we recommend playing it.
We love how realistic and immersive the experience we have in this game. It really does feel like you are helping someone through a crisis. We love interactive stories where your choices determine the ending.
When we play this game we feel like Im talking to a real person, with real issues and relationships. This game is a great puzzle game and even though Im not done, Im really enjoying it, so far we give this 5 stars.
We enjoyed it but like we dont get it at all, it might just b us being dumb but im so lost & idk where to find an ending explanation. But the game was so good and felt so real & we <3 adam.

Its amazing. After seeing it on tiktok, it quickly became our comfort game. Im sad how fast we played, though :(.
We dont really like many games, but this one is incredible! It was very difficult and at times we had to use a walkthrough. The game seemed like a real social platform, but then again we wouldnt know because the Ive never really used anything like Facebook or Twitter. The only thing we didnt like was when we clicked chapter one (we had been on chapter two), we had to do that chapter all over again! Other than that, we loved it. This will always be one of our favorite games.
We really like this game so far and we are going to keep on playing it. We think it may actually help us in real life.

This is so much more than a game, its an in-depth experience that compels you to want more, we seriously could not put it down! The storyline is amazing, the riddles and tasks were challenging but not impossible, when it ended we were shocked and saddened that we couldnt play it anymore, we seriously need more games like this on the App Store.

It could be five stars, but then we saw the map of the link Adam send it just hard too see , maybe the fault is the web . But that make us kinda uncomfortable. This is our opinions, we hope something could more good from our sumbits.The game is cool ;)).
This app is spectacular and so deep it really makes you look at life a whole different way and even though there fake stories it feels like someones life etc depends on you it send chills down our spine and really makes us question would we really do that? Is that how we are.

We loved this game! Adam was an enjoyable character and was a well written character. SPOILERS: Adams death was totally unexpected, and it actually made us feel genuine sadness. Which is a very hard thing to pull off! Ive never seen a game like this and it deserves so much more attention and love.
We cant fully express how amazing this game is. Never has a game made us feel so attached to someone we havent ever seen before. To say when it ended we wasnt fighting back tears would be a lie. Truly an amazing game, and usually when we finish a game we uninstall it so we can have space for new ones, but not this one, this one will live on our phone forever. Thank you for the amazing game.
This is probably the first game we fell in love with. Its a great puzzle and kind of a mystery. Full of surprises. If you think of getting it please do because you wont disappointed.
We just started playing the game today. You know a game is good, when you stop playing in the middle of it just to write a review. The few minutes we were playing we were already intrigued and full of wonders and questions. Im curious of how its going to end and we have a feeling it is not going to be disappointing!! This is a game we would definitely recommend to people who like interactive games like this. Im a sucker for these types of games and theres honestly not a lot of games that are like this. Alright Im not the type of person to play these type of games but this game is really fun! We were confused at first and now its pretty fun but one part creeped us out a bit when he said DMLM and we google on what it meant and it creeped us out a bit but its still a nice game and we love playing it Ive been playing it for about 3-4 days and its really fun to play and Im glad we found this game.
Oh our god. It is, simply put, absolutely brilliant. It seems so sporadic through the whole thing but it ties together in this dark and mysterious way. We love it so much.
Love this game. Its our second time playing and its still as cool as we remembered. This was the first mystery game we downloaded onto our phone and it was enjoyable. We like how its interactive so it feels real. We hope this game gets more recognition because its a creative game.

The game said a cuss word, and the first text topic was about "Would you care if a man jumped off a building?" And let us get you started on the topic of the cuss word, a man bleeding out???? What kind of parent would like seeing their 9 year old kid playing this. Bro that's messed up. Things like this are very sensitive subjects and on top of that games like these are the reasons so many kids are messed up in the head.
This is absolutely one of the best games Ive ever played. Theres no real money involved at all, but you can watch ads to speed things up if you want to. So many pieces that all fall together in the end. We highly recommend.

This was absolutely amazing. For awhile, we forgot it was just an app. Bravo! We rarely ever leave reviews but we really felt like leaving one because of how much it affected us. There needs to be more games like this. Such great work.
The developers worked really hard on making this game some of the riddles were a bit challenging but we used the internet to help. We love how interactive the game was it immersed us into the story like we were really there. Also like a review said it does show how easy we are to give up our information. And we just found out that DMlM means death makes life's matter That was deep.

This was hands down the best game we have played. We felt completely immersed in the story and loved performing the tasks adam gave us. The story was amazing (very heathers-esque, our favorite movie ;)) and we hope to see more like this in the future, naybe even a book? Thank you so much for making this, but now we miss adam :(.

We don't normally review apps but this app truly deserves 5 stars. We thought we'd be another ordinary text mystery where it gave you a few choices and that was it. BUT it really surprised us when we actually had to look things up outside of the app to help this person that we don't even know. We hope that more apps follow in this app's footprints.

One of the best games we have ever played. We were super upset when the game ended. It's really cool how you have to do tasks outside of the app in order to move on in the game.
We actually love this app. It's very interactive and is really cool, we recommend it for people who like mysteries and that sort of stuff.
