These are great games for an 80 yr old to play.

Domini beats Big Fish and eats them for lunch. We would pay $6.99 all day long for this much fun. Excellent game just challenging enough to keep you intrigued and interested. This game is like a great book read, its hard to put down and you cant wait to pick it up again and keep on playin.

The previous installment of this game was not the best but this installment makes up for it. The plot was intriguing and the graphics were beautiful. We liked the fact that it was two strangers meeting. They knew of each other but were not a couple yet. If it takes Big Fish to produce a game of this quality then we guess we do not mind just one game offered each week!

Domini does it again! Top notch game all around. This game is a feast for the eyes, as well as ones gaming soul. They are known for their creative mini games; this offering does not disappoint, and you have the option of casual or hard on most of them. The hos are list/interactive, silhouette, find the difference, and find the pairs. The story is really good as well, loved the bonus where we see how the villain came to be bad. Lots of unique touches here and there, to make you feel like youre really in the game. The Dark Romance series has the unique mechanic of playing as two different characters, and Domini does that well. Length was good too. We did not like the delay after you put together an object in your inventory, but that is our only gripe with this game. Real rating of 4.5 bumped up to 5 because its just so darn good!

All the elements we love in a game.

Wonderful graphics, complex and varied puzzles–even the HOGs are engaging in a variety of ways. This game has it all, lovely music and good storyline, as well as the chance to play two characters. It is worth the $$ and we might even play it again. Just loved it all. Thank you BF!

Most intriguing. Having fun!!!!

Great game really enjoyed playing this.

These games are always such fun. Lots of little items to look for, and it informs you that an item is available. Its more than a puzzle game. Plus, one can select easy or hard with all the games. Perfect….. Key West Jessa.

Lots to do, cute story, cohesive, interesting that you play as two characters. Nicely done. Thanks!

Domini Games strikes again, with this riveting, fun-filled adaption of the popular children’s fairytale "Snow White," first published by Brothers Grimm in 1812, and later revised for the final version of the story in 1854. This series stands out for its unique twist of offering players varying perspectives while assuming the roles of two Protagonists, who, in this game, team up to rid the kingdom of the evil Queen who doesn’t seem to believe in age over beauty. The frequent switching back and forth between roles provides glimpses into their individual minds, as well as insight as to their behavioral patterns and interactions with each other. You meet an interesting cast of characters who have distinct personalities; we are amused by the alchemist, Prosper, who transformed into a tree during an experiment gone wrong. One character who got on our nerves was Miss Squeaky Pants, the little fairy with the annoying, high-pitched voice. We were hoping she would get kidnapped and banished by the Queen to Peter Pan’s Neverland to "never" return. The settings are imaginative and intricately detailed. We are enchanted by the immersive animations that breathe life into ordinary objects; for example, a bear rug lets out a growl, and its eyes turn red. We love that the map, as in most of Domini’s games, allows a player to enable the collectibles icon to indicate the scenes in which they can be found. The gameplay, although linear, is highly interactive and multi-layered, with puzzles giving way to HOSs. Even the inventory usage is puzzle-like at times. The artistic designs of the HOSs are creatively rendered. The HOSs vary in format, so most players should be pleased. This developer allows us to configure a difficulty preference for the puzzles via custom settings and for individual puzzles. There are a multitude of diverse and sometimes challenging puzzles to maintain our attention. We love the one in which you form different patterns by selecting shapes within a square. We always look forward to this developer’s collectibles. There are multiple sets to discover, and they deliver an entertaining and informative aspect. Both the transition and mechanics are seamless and glitch free. This developer has fast become our favorite one. While other developers are shirking away from establishing creative ideas, this developer embraces the task and continues to spur forth engaging, clever productions. There’s nothing not to like about this game. A little ground was just made up for denying us a worthwhile game the last few weeks; however, this upward trend must steadily continue to appease us faithful customers. We rate this game five (5) stars.

This game is fascinating not a boring moment Loved and recommend it. Just a little to short Story line is terrific love……. Love……. Love.

So far we are enjoying this game. RAT ALERT in the dungeon. They even scared us!!! They come running unexpectedly. Just thought we might put out the warning. So far So good.

We wouldve payed for the game but its too expensive.

Nice graphics and a fun storyline with 2 main characters that both have adventures.

Loving the game. Best we have played in some time.

It is awesome but we dont really finding stuff games when we played this we were like NEVERMIND so yeah its awesome.

The Dark Romance games are our favorite games because you are being two different people working together. The maps are wonderful and the indications that show you if you got all your collectibles is wonderful, sometimes Im so into the game we cant remember. We do have one question for LynxMinx and KimTwilight69. Since you two know a lot of what is going on with Big Fish. We read in the news that Big Fish laid off a lot of their staff and is going to focus on casino and casual games. Does this mean that they will no longer give us our mystery games that we all love so much. Hopefully if that happens these game designers will keep making the games and someone else will pick them up. Thank you two also for the reviews. We know we can always count on a game being good and worth buying based on your reviews. Enjoy the rest of your week everyone.

Note to Kss776: thank you for the heads up in regards to the rats. Although we rarely discuss them anymore, we are still afraid of them. Truthfully these were no big deal, for those of you who are now anxious. They were tiny and it was very quick and there werent anymore in the game. Notice we never let them stop us from playing! Note to KimTwilight: King William was a HOTTIE! This twisted fairy tale (Snow White)was the best game we have had in weeks from BigFish. Domini gave us all the bells and whistles. Their maps are the best, because you can customize them to indicate whether collectibles (chess figurines, lilies and dwarven artifacts)are still available. At least their collectibles arent useless, as you learn fun facts about them and may use the lilies to decorate a royal boudoir. The entire game is fully customizable, including the settings for mini-games. The graphics are beautiful, although they lack visual acuity. It is interesting and entertaining to play from the viewpoint of the two protagonists. The HO scenes had some interesting variations and you could choose to play match-3 if you didnt want to do the HO puzzle. Domini offers many puzzles/games; however many were simplistic or of the boring rotational genre. However there were others we enjoyed, such as progressing through the labyrinth and completing tapestry paintings. The game was quite linear and we prefer a non-linear method of gameplay. However we do love fantasy so we enjoyed this game despite some of the negatives. The game was a decent length with the bonus adventure. The storyline held our interest. There was a plethora of tasks to accomplish at each location, from fixing items to brewing potions to helping those you meet as you progress through the game. The gameplay flowed well, and Domini has excellent quality assurance. We deducted half a star due to the slightly inferior quality of the graphics, and the general lack of innovative elements in regards to the puzzles/games. At times we were slightly bored, but mostly at the very beginning. Our rating will be 4 stars rounded up to 4.5 stars. This game was magical, and we loved the way one puzzle would lead to an HO scene or to finding an enchanted artifact. You couldnt always predict the outcome of applying inventory items. It turned out to be a stellar game! Unfortunately we probably have to wait another whole week for a new game from BigFish. Happy gaming everyone!

We read the rave reviews and hoped Id like this game. And we did like it but for us, its just a slightly above average game with a few drawbacks. The good: vibrant colour, along with some interesting characters. The bad: inferior graphics, weird voices (some guy that sounds like a NY cabbie as King and a Southern belle for a Queen as examples) and the main characters romance… It was just a little too twee for us. The games were mostly rotating and turning stuff. So 3.5 stars rounded to 3.

This is really a 2.5. The story was so predictable you almost dont need to play it. The puzzles lack inspiration and the HOs were nothing new. Unless youve never played an HO puzzle game before, dont bother. We couldnt even bother to complete the bonus chapter which is a prequelthe very worst sort.

That was the most boring game we ever played .

We originally gave this game 3 stars due to non HO puzzles outnumbering HO puzzles 3 to 1 easily but now we’ve changed it to 1 due to encountering a nonHO puzzle that couldnt be skipped. We dont buy these games for misc puzzles, we buy them for hidden object puzzles so forcing us to complete a misc puzzle whether we want to or not is just gross.

We are so very disappointed! We paid for this game thinking that like many of the paid for games on Big Fish that would be it, its our game and we dont need to buy anything else. Not so with this game. We paid for it and now, just moments into the game its asking for more money. Now Im not sure if we will purchase any more of Big Fish games. Why should we pay $2.99 or $3.99 (when they are on sale) or $6.99 for a game that is going to be asking for even more money?

Far too easy. Great if you are 5. Im pretty much bored to tears and it is nowhere near worth the price. Would be okay at $1. Delete.
