This game is very well done. We like all the options and the ability to pick the strengths of the computer opponents. A minor complaint: we just wish there was an option to not use the hook rule: This rule disallows a bid that would cause the total amount of tricks bid to be equal to the number of total tricks available. We hate that rule!

We find it difficult to tell who the dealer is, and when its our turn to bid, and who plays the opening hand first.

We like the game but we don’t like when we don’t have a choice for all bids available 1. Sometimes it say 0 or three and we want to bid one! Not fair.

We would like to see the other players bid also.

We said the game to the hardest level of all players we still see some horrific bids. For example when theres an ace or a king of Trump the computer is bidding zero when theres no way theyre not gonna take at least that one trick. Should be an easy fix. That thought process by the computer should be a no-brainer at every level of difficulty.

This is a great game but.. We used to be able to select the suit if we wanted to sluff off cards. Now it often forces us to play a suit which is often trump even if we dont want to thus causing us to take a trick we dont want.

We love this game it just annoys us when it says we have to pick at least one trick to win when we know for a fact that we cant get any. We woudl like for this to be changed/fixed.

Purchased the $2.99 get rid of ads on our iPhone but ads still come up on our iPad.

Happy to find an enjoyable version of an old favorite.

Practicing so can heat our friends.

We are not text savvy But we have enjoyed playing card games our sister occasionally invites us because she has purchased it and we think its a great idea.

Oh hell is a classic game. We play it a little different in our family. We play it with low score wins. Look forward to being able to play with MORE custom rules and also with more people. Less rounds.

Good practice, but does not keep score the same way our buddies taught us. Graphics are nice.

The game plays differently than we learned and we couldnt find an option to play our way. Not a big deal. It is still fun to play. The biggest issue we have is that playing area is too big for our Xr iPhone. We cant see the left persons bids nor their score. Im not sure what else we are missing.

Excellent game and we especially like the ability to multiplayer with folks we know as long as we all hit the start button at same time. It may be our wifi issue but found several times we were out of sync with other players. Great game nonetheless… Thank you!

We enjoy this game, but there is one rule that changes the entire dynamic of the game: leading with trump before it has been broken. In this version of the game, you can lead with trump any time. We’ve always played where trump cant be lead until its broken. With all the options, perhaps consider the ability to toggle that rule on and off. Also, we have an iPhone, which has circles at the top of the screen that cut into the graphic display of the player on the left. This makes it hard to easily tell what theyve bid.

This version (on 4/282020) does NOT allow you to choose what you want to bid!!! There were several hands where we wanted to bid zero and the choice wasnt on the screen. Another time, we wanted to bid 1 – which wasnt available. We could only choose between zero and 2. We knew we would only get 1 – so we’ve deleted this app. The only reason we gave it 2 stars is card action is smooth, Player names can be changed to ones you want, and graphics are pretty good. Fix the bugs in the bidding and we revise our review.

Trump isnt visible when you bid first. Game is unusable on iPhone 11 plus. Need to resize app for large screen.

Very good program for a great game. We wish it would have more options, however. For example, it would be nice to have the option to adjust the number of rounds, and to eliminate the rule that prevents the dealer from making a bid that allows all players to be correct.

Well done. One problem is display of left side player score does not show on iphone Xs because of notch.

Game known by many names. In our home it was lovingly called Screw a friend, except not the word screw. It is a must play card game.

An offensive ad just popped up while sitting playing with our grandchild. Cartoon people I. Bed and the "F" word. Disappointing.

Game fast paced, uses Trump suit, and strategies necessary; so, a new hand of cards quickly replaces the last hand which keeps players interests and chances of winning and placing alive…… Great game ideally for 5-7 players. Ward E.

We play on the hardest level and win 95% of the time. Its not actually hard.

The first hand forced us to bid without knowing what trump would be. The second hand will not give us the option to bid what we thought we could take. Deleting.

This is an awesome game. Love it.

Just learned this game. This version is lots of fun. We have the free version and they dont inundate you with ads.

Notice many times during play that the computer hands are kinda dumb. Selecting 0 on a hand when they have the ace of trump and many other winners . Needs to be smarter.

Especially when it comes to making intelligent bids. Fail to consider the strength of having trump cards and the weakness of bidding on the presumed strength of off-trump face cards. We have the settings on maximum difficulty and still win 90% of the time.

You might think that ones computer adversaries would consider elementary card odds when determining how many tricks are likely. Instead, at even the most advanced levels, they play like amateur putzes.

Its a great game to play. We wish the cards would be picked up or played a little slower so we could review what was played.

Glad to find a free online version of Oh Hell and enjoy playing when theres some downtime. Would like it better (1) if the board layout was less cluttered such that our cards and cards played were a bit larger; (2) If there was a mid-speed for play… Slow is too slow and fast doesnt allow enough time to see if other players made their trick bid or not; and, (3) that rules didnt force trump to be played if youre void in a played suit. Just suggested tweaks.

Just well designed app to play.

Have played this game for over 40 years with family members .. Love it.. Enjoy playing it on our cell phone.

The only thing we don’t like is there aren’t enough online players! That is it!

All your games are legit. Thanks for making this one. Hopefully you can release catch 5 pitch (high, low, jack +5) and/or auction 45’s (5, jack, ace of hearts) games someday. Kickass. Thanks For your hard work!!

Its a fantastic app. Fun to play and visually appealing. Rules are different from what we play with friends but classic for card games. Wish you could improve the performance of the bots. Its way too easy to win. But we know how difficult that would be. Great job!

This is a great game. And enjoyable to play!!

Great game! Very similar to what we have played in the real world and fast.

Very well done version of this game (although we do hope that more options will be added to be able to customize it to the way we’re used to playing), but with a fatal flaw: poor AI. It is overall pretty weak… Even the more challenging should really only rate a normal….. But sometimes just nonsensical: we’ve had them bid (unforced) zero while holding the Ace of trump.

Worst longest running ads that can’t be skipped unless you close the app and reload. Reloading is quicker than watching.

The advertising videos interrupt every game for the past couple weeks. We’re going to delete the app. Too bad. It was fun to play. Too bad for the other advertisers on the app ’cause people are going to close the app before they ever see their ads.

Only one critique: Trump suit is hard to read through the numbers for the bid. Other than that, pretty nice game and good graphics.

Great game with different options on rules. One suggestion – change color of dark brown table – it is hard to see the number of bid tricks against the wood table (you could also just keep the number of bids shown)

Instructions? An explanation of different game styles? Bids unclear? Scoring? Perhaps we’ve missed something(s).

Its a good app. Fast. Only complaint is we wish it would keep a numeric display of the opponents bid throughout the round, it’s time-consuming to count the little rectangles in front of them.
