Cute game, like-able characters and gameplay butthe game itself takes up way more space than it should (almost 30gb rn), it has memory leak. Also the server is horribly neglected by the developers, things are left unfixed such as a free courtyard skin that came out months ago that still shows as a blank brown screen when used. We love the characters, we love the storyline, and we love the beautiful art/animations but we wouldnt be surprised if they simply deleted the global server entirely.
Played this game for a while now. Only complaint is that it would be ideal if there were better battle animations and more forgiving chances of getting SRR/SP summons. Feels like we never get any event shikigami. Still, very addicting and very fun and the artwork is amazing. Love how well the artists make the characters and skins. We can see the effort you all put into it.

Ive been playing this game since it first came out, Im really proud of the progress and the amount that has been put into this game. Our only critique would be for Arena/duel, to fight right people far out of tier. Souls being a bit easier to modify, other than that Ive truly enjoyed every aspect of this game.
This game is so underrated. All of the character designs are gorgeous and the music is beautiful. Hopefully the missing translations can be fixed thought. It takes away from the immersion at times. Please promote this game on social media more.
Been playing this game for some odd years now and we honestly love it.
The game is really nice when you return to it after a while its hard to get summons when playing regularly for new players because it is a grind for life to get anything.
The game reminds us of Genshin Impact with the anime style and crk (cookie run kingdom) with promoting ur Shishigami or the gambling for different Shishigamis yk with the star thiggy.
We have a Steam account for the game on PC linked to IOS but the Steam login section in the game is blank and we cannot log in to the Steam account into the game. Can you help us with a solution to login.
We have 135 logins so far and today is the second wave of Vocaloid collaboration event. While this game may look P2W, it is actually very generous with its unique system. Most people just spend their money on skins and not the gacha itself because the characters are not limited, unlike many other gacha games. In each event, you are guaranteed to get 2 SSR/SP if you save up to 60 pulls, which is not hard to save. Then, you can get a SSR/SP from the event shop. So thats 3 SSR/SP in every event. We get so many characters that we dont even have the resources to build them all lol. So if you want a character, you will get them someday without needing to rely on rerun banners. Advice: Get yourself a good mentor/guild/friends in the game! And ask them the tricks to get summons fast or how to probably build your team. There are many things that the game itself wont tell you directly. Also, if you want to add friend to us, our username is ExCore00. Happy gaming~.
Came back after like 2-3 years cause we got a phone with more storage and was reminded of characters we love. Love the stories and characters and they added a feature where you can read stories from previous character releases since we last played! We do find it hard to understand building shikigami, but the official server is very nice and answers all our dumb questions. Would recommend especially if you enjoy Japanese folklore.

Our apologies for bad grammar Anyway.. We played this game for little quite long its fun and enjoyable! How we get interesting into this? When we saw Kusuriuri from Mononoke we become attracted to him and we search him in YouTube then we see Onmyoji have Kusuriuri, we quickly touch App Store. Finally we download it and realize event Kusuriuri only in probably a five year ago we got upset we cant get him because we join this game too late we think he only in event? We hope hes back in this game for event. But still its great.
We cannot start the event battle. The start button wont light up. The event exploration, the screen wont move no matter where we touch it. Help.
Played the game many years before. We restarted the game recently and have been delighted to find the new elements. Its been fun.
We have been playing since 2019, we genuinely love this game with all of our heart. Ive reached celebrity, we rank in the leaderboards and everything, basically anything this game has to offer we can at least rank in. But, it took endless hours of grind and money. This game is not friendly to f2p, well it can be but do not expect to do good in anything that isnt the daily routine (souls, evo materials, etc.). This game heavily relies on incredibly niche SSR/SP units to do a specific challenge that will never be brought up again (but thats only if you care about the ranking and rewards). PVP is also just so insane. The meta shifts so often and with every release of a character and the worst part is that no matter what, it will almost always be speed dependent so good luck trying to outspeed us veterans who have perfected our soul configurations. At a certain point, you will also start to feel that every new content they release (skins, events, etc.) are just more ways to get money from you. ALSO, global server is essentially neglected by the devs because we dont monetarily compete with the whales in china/japan so they get exclusive content/skins/collabs with major animes etc. Listen, this game is fun and is arguably f2p friendly if you commit hours and years of your life to this. But considering how old this game is, good luck trying to break into the ranks without spending.

We absolutely love this game. Its been around since we were in middle school, and we started playing it back then. The story is intriguing, the battle system is cool, and the character stories never fail to rip your heart out. Our only issue is with how much you need to pay for things if you really want good results. Overall we recommend it.
We used to play this game and loved it. The visuals and sounds are great. But when we try to install it now, after getting the whole 3.7GB file downloaded to our ipad, the game immediately demands that we download another 1.5GB update. This is impossible for us and unreasonable for a game on phones and tablets. Five stars for the actual gameplay, ONE STAR for requiring updates on a fresh install and ridiculous space demands.

The matching takes forever that it feels like its bugged or wasnt coded correctly. There are thousands of players playing yet it takes 15+ minutes to match.

The development team is absolutely amazing with how many things they fix and add. The more this game goes on, the more optimized certain features become (eg: gluttony ghoul, easy shiki upgrade, auto battle improvements). Ive been playing this game for years, since the first anniversary. Its come a long way and seeing this game grow makes us so happy. Im honestly emotionally attached. The graphics and artworks are absolutely gorgeous. The soundtrack and voice acting sounds impeccable (though we must admit we play with everything muted due to personal preference but what ive heard is stunning). We have not gotten into the story but its expansive- filled with characters, event stories, special scenes, and many interactions. If we start paying attention to stories in games, this is going to be the first one we jump into. We could probably write an essay about this game but im going to stop it here. If you want a game with new additions, events, global teamwork+competition, gacha, character leveling, stunning graphics, thorough storyline, and or optional auto battle- this is perfect for you. Thank you so much onmyoji team for all your hard work!! This game has given us so much joy over the years, and hopefully will continue to do so in the years to come.
Ive played this game upon its initial release and enjoyed it quite a bit back then. After not being on for a few years we decided to start grinding the game again and realized a few good and very very bad things: -The game has implemented more ways to level up, get resources, and higher grade souls easier. -PvE is still doable with normal units, but it becomes very apparent that the newer units kits are significantly more powerful. (SP units) -PvP has become impossible for newer or returning players. The lowest tier (Tier 1) is occupied by max level players with max grade units. -There is no versatility. We wanted the game to be interesting with the different soul options and affects, but everything just seems linear with speed and power being at the forefront. Tl;dr SP units broken, PvP system broken, Bad for new players.
This is a great game and so fun but the company is racist so if you do play it please do not use money.
Been a player for more more that 4 years already, some screens are looking a little weird , like When you place a shiki in someone elses realm its looks weird and also when you try to upgrade your guild when you feed souls or Evo units the the plus and minus arent displayed.
The game used to be a hidden gem, now that it's more known, it's considerably more p2play than ever. 50 summons as a summon milestone for rewards in event.. Skins only purchasable by 20+ USD per skin.. The game overall has a pay feature that makes life easier and constantly recommends you to buy it. Don't get us wrong, onmyoji is still fun but we wish it had some more free2play rewards. We don't understand as to why anniversary had to be a repeat of genshin impact.

We have played the game since it came out to the US servers, and for 5 consecutive years. Our experience on the game went downhill each year, it caters to the players that spend $$$ on the game. F2P are punished by this, especially in duels. Besides that, the game mechanics are great, the visuals amazing, etc. Its a well-made mobile/PC game but we wished that the paywall wasnt so apparent.

Its a good game storyline is nice. Its really similar to the game Elune except the characters in Onmyoji are better designed. Also, in Elune you get the chance of pulling for a lot of good/strong characters while in Onmyoji you only get 1 good character from the first 10 pull you pull. 3 stars for the character design and interesting storyline but lose 2 stars for the similarities to Elune and not enough good characters/pulls. Its hard to get tickets to pull characters and even more difficult to get good characters. Other than that, good game.
We play this game for a lot of years, and we really love the designs of the characters. The events are great. We strongly believe that this game was the best game in our life ever.
Im so sorry for the millions of people who are playing this game and spending money on it. We cant even spend our time listening to people talk and having to move around to talk to every npc no thanks.

Great design, love the scenario and characters, it's just that the gameplay and progression loop feel so old and slow. It almost feels like you get very little done as a new player once you hit the progression wall and need to strengthen your characters, which is too complicated and a drag. Really needs a revamped version with better, more streamlined progression and cleaner graphics. Also the gacha aspect is heavily P2W. Basically we would recommend other, newer gacha titles.

Like PVE? Better have the nisch team to be a top contender in PVE ranking. Otherwise any ol team will do to just clear. Like PVP? Better have the same team of units but faster. Other than a nice story, lovely graphics and beautiful character design, the gameplay is just a reck. PVE is easy to clear but boring to be good at. You can clear almost anything with any random team but to actually rank high you need to have a very nisch team with as close to the nearly impossible perfect soul set equipped. PVP is even worse anymore. Same 3 units on every team with overloaded kits and the only way to beat it is to use the same team but hope you have faster souls on. How else would you play when you have unblockable crowdcontrol that even the units that cant be crowd controlled are susceptible to? Ive walked away from PVP battles for 10+min and came back still in the same duel, still havent had a turn. You dont build damage you build speed on the same units as everyone else. In otherwords the only way you can use your favorite unit is if an event comes along and gives a buff to that unit for the event. Otherwise be prepared to run the same team as everybody else and show off your luck in soul stats. The game use to be very fun and offer a bunch of versatility but thats all gone.

Help! Cannot update from China as it reports network error whenever we try to update. Sometimes another sign would appear please check your DNS setting our internet is fine. It can download a bit with a VPN (very slowly), so we are assuming there is a IP-checking mechanism. Please make it playable for foreigners who live in China.
We keep getting white screen and the game/app completely freezes over. We couldn't even logged in pass the opening CG. We tried delete the app then reinstalled it so many times, tried restarting our phone (a 7+ model) as well, but nothing seemed to work. Please look into this problem and help us. Been playing this for years. Their unfair treatment and indifference for GL server has always been horrible, yet we cant stop playing coz im already too attached with the characters and old stories. However, this time they took it to another level!! . Why do gl server get the beta version of Amaterasu events?!!. Some parts are still untranslated, have weird movements, missing cutscenes, missing musics, and some characters are even still in their placeholder voice?!. The supposedly emotional scenes became funny and unserious- the experience became very lacking!. And not to mention the system where we borrow support shikigami from friends were messed up too. Does it not being checked before release? A company as big as you? Its been days and theres no notice yet as if theres no problem.we know were not as abundant as in other server, but please appreciate your players in gl server aswell. We hope you fix the event or at the very least give us deserving compensation!!. Ill edit the rate if this is resolved. Edit : kinda fixed quietly it seems, but not entirely.
We have been playing this game since release day back in high school and now we are almost done with college! There is an insane amount of content and modes to play, you can almost never get bored. We used to cycle through RPGs every few months, but Onmyoji has much more thought put into the world building and characters. It is not flawless, however for a free to play game it is outstanding!
