Ord. Reviews

So we love this game. Absolutely love it. It’s completely and totally minimalistic, but that means you can see it almost any way you want, and it’s impressive, in our opinion, that despite its simplicity the words chosen are perfect, and are powerful enough to spark the right emotions in the player. Yeah, we love this as a simple RPG, however we love it even more because we’ve also found a weird alternative use for it. We’re learning German. We like to practice whenever and however we can, just so we can slowly become fluent in the language. This is going to sound stupid, but uh, we realised we can set the language in the game to German, and due to the minimalistic style it’s not overly challenging for us. It’s a fun way to improve our vocabulary. We dunno. We’re weird. Anyway, it’s a wonderful game, we totally recommend it, aaaand if you’re learning a language maybe it can help you?

Learn to understand the time, effort world building in these amazing universes must take. They use little words and manage to tel compelling, hilarious, and investing stories. Words could never do this game justice. The creators have managed to, for once, likely spend more time on the story and choices than the actual coding. We feel Heist and the main Quest are the best, and especially Heist, using different times and choices to tell a compelling story where you rob a bank and attempt to get away with it. If youre considering buying this game, do it. One of the best story games we’ve played, and only for the small price of two bucks. Trust us, Im not a review bot/marketing person. Love this game and we hope you will too.

Ur mom gottem jk its a good game lol.

Dont waste your time or money.

We really do love this game so far its still pretty new to us. Im hoping though as time goes on they will add more stories and thing and keep on adding. This game so far though is amazing!

This is a very simple format, with an elusively complex game play.

Love to play in the dark before bed. The individual words build visions and stories in your head. Its mystical but also doesnt take itself too seriously, which makes us appreciate it even more. Game. Mystical. Emergent. Fun.

This gane is amazing but theres a lot of death or end endings and it takes so long to get to the next part of the story, and Im sure thats how it makes the game longer, but say with the fowl things adventure once your in a scenario theres no escape and you just die or have to restart because it keeps saying door and you have two answers and pick them both but dont die but also dont escape Thank you to anyone whos reading.

Game? Great. Stories? Expansive. Sentences? Short. I? Love.

Really interesting concept. It inspires us to make something like this.

We heard about classic video games like. Back in the day these were some of the first video games. Theyre similar to adventure story book where you hop around the pages depending upon your decision. This is totally like that and the stories in the game are very fun! If a sequel comes out we would definitely buy that one too.

Super fun! We wish there was a story maker which would be really fun! All the storys are really fun and funny.

We love this game, but in the 2 hours we’ve sunk into Foul Things, 80% of that has just been redoing the game to get back to where we were, which is insanely tedious. Dear god please. Come on. Its just bad game design.

We really think this game has potential, but there are many irritating instances where you get stuck and no option leads to change. (example: enter graveyard, its defiled, leave, back to graveyard, repeat.) Also, like other players, we dislike how many of the options just lead to death instead of a more entertaining path. You can still make the choice lead nowhere, just dont kill us and force us to restart. Early choices feel like a chore when you run through them over and over.

We love adventure games and text adventures, but was really disappointed by how arbitrary the choice in this game are. There arent really any puzzles in this game to solve, youre just frequently given two one-word options and one of them is right and one is wrong, for reasons that arent clear. Even worse (because that issue isnt exactly knew to the choose your own adventure genre), the results often feel super randomly connected. Youll make a choice and then be given a choice that has nothing to do what you decided. It basically feels like a game that goes Pick a number 5 or 6. 5 Correct. Pick a number 3 or 8 8 Wrong. Game over Not at all what we were expecting and really surprised (and almost suspicious) of the race reviews.

This is a very poorly designed game. Scenarios are shallows. Do not expect morf than 1 fork depth! Nothibg to do with D&D. No depth. No story. Play Rochambeau or a dice with Yes / No on each face. Thats what this « game is. Just got robbed 2$. Well played. Save you 2 bucks. Follow our 2 cents and do not press « buy.

Its just a pain to play unless you simply want a grind forever. Its the kind of game where you have to memorize moves over and over and the moment you get to a new place you die and have to start from the very beginning. Not at all like the many text adventures we have played since we were little.

We guess Im stupid. We just didnt understand it!

More or less a memory game. Not thought or emotion provoking at all. A waste of time. Boring.

So many routes to take and achievements to be found. We have been playing for about an hour just trying every possible outcome we can find and they havent been disappointing.

If you watch look at the photos and read the description you will know what kind of game this is. Its a game for readers who like choice and interactivity. If you mindlessly buy this and have different expectations, then thats on you. The words are fantastic. Yes it can get a bit stale BUT what Doesnt. This is honestly a refreshing game that wont let you down. The only issue we have is that, there should be an option to pet the dog regardless if its sleeping or not. To the developers. We are sorry you have mainly children asking for refunds. They dont know what they are getting themselves into xx and they have Im no regard or patience for reading, or imagination. Im sorry you guys have to go through this.

As a lover of old school RPGs (DnD E1 and E2), Zork and adventure books, this takes us back. Its simpler than Zork, quite easy to follow and fast playing. This is not for those that are purely into RPG games that have lots of graphics. If youre looking for big bangs and explosions this is not for you. If youre looking for calm, thinking RPG then you have found the one.

Calming. It keeps making you ask whats next. Delightful word Association.

Thank you. We are so grateful for this game and its simplicity. Our mind felt still, like it was on a mini vacation. It gave us a great idea to change our diary form to one word, also, we have an idea for your game, can you have a story mode or something like that where you talk to God or a deity or an alien being, and you ask it one word questions and it guides you? Thank you for listening. Keep up the great work!

Its a pretty interesting game, but there are not enough outcomes or enough stories for it to cost money.

We love the concept, it wasnt a bad game just a waste of money. We just hope theres updates. Maybe something that takes time to get through like a cool D&D style adventure.

We appreciate the idea here, but theres just not enough meat on the bone to justify the price. The audio design is nicely done, but truthfully; this is nothing more than a trial and error exercise. We cant really recommend anything to improve the game because its really sparse by design. Perhaps make it free, with some IAP for additional adventures? Not sure. Either way, we appreciate the work here. Glad we were able to contribute to support your app especially given the state of the world. At the end of the day, we hope it helps you continue to create.

Ord. Is a fantastic game that may seem a little shallow on presentation and graphics. It is mostly a text adventure, as the screenshots imply, but the subtle ambient tones as you make your selections and the way small changes in lighting when you find yourself in specific situations really sets the mood. Our favorite is going into the cave in the Quest. As someone who pictures every finite detail in their mind when reading a book, this game didnt need flashy next-gen graphics. It is a minimalist experience that triggers a world and the adventure in it while guiding your character. We highly recommend this title, if you are a fan of story or if you are looking for something to get your creative juices flowing.

Total waste of time… Nothing more than word play. Waste of $$
