Community Insight:

Theres not much to explain about it, its just so much fun!!! Thanks developers.

So we dont have the osmo stand and we cant figure out how to get the perfect position please add a way to use the front camera.

We got this for fun and so far it has been great. One thing it gets pretty hard.

The App Store says the app is compatible with our 11 inch iPad, but when we try to run the app we get an error message that say Osmo doesn't support 11 inch iPad.

Lucas cant wait to see the kids do you want us.

You wont believe what just happened! On our iPad somehow the game got DELETED!!! We cant even believe it.

Im so glad we found this on the App Store it is so much fun and we love it you should download it.

We cant do this its very hard cant even complete first level.

So fed up!!!!!!!!! Nothing we do works….Hate it.

Ok looks fun but how no instructions we cant easily just figure out things.

We love Newton game because its very challenging and fun and the game itself deserves 5 stars. However, it now crashes every time we open it so we have to remove 2 stars from the review. We restarted the iPad and even updated the program that recently claimed to fix crashes but it didnt help. We deleted the app and reinstalled it a couple times and it still didnt work. So sad. Hope you fix the problem soon. Thank you very much.

We have used this, and other apps, for three years with our whole class and have LOVED it. This school year, we have been struggling using this app. Glitches, closes out, freezes, are a few things that are happening consistently. Super frustrating.

Honestly we do feel like the other Osmo games are geared towards younger kids, and thats awesome, but we do feel like older kids should also have a game too, that is more complex and fun. Well this is definitely it! Our brother who is ten and us LOVE this game! It honestly so much fun how this game requires strategy but is very fun and creative at the same time. If you are thinking of Osmo, but dont know if you want to get it because of your childs age, this is a great option! Thank you for reading.

Its okay we guess. Its just kind of hard to to see with your hand in the way while youre drawing.

This is a great game for kids and adults to play.

The game is pretty cool but you have to draw very thick lines for it to see the line.

Terrible and stupid. First it is SUPER hard you should be able to draw lines with your hand . Please delete it from the App Store.

What a rare game our children love it its like we are at the park thank you.

Newton doesnt realize the lines we draw.

This app is a little advanced for a 5 year old and can get frustrating but it's akin to a beginning physics course and the learning potential is tremendous! We almost kept the Osmo for this app alone because it was so well done but, sadly, had to send it back because of issues with the other applications.

We (we) are incredibly disappointed by this update. This has gone from our absolute favorite Osmo game, to our absolute least favorite, in an instant. Taking away the grid screen takes away the engineering quality, and also makes it more difficult in a way that has nothing to do with intelligence, and everything to do with an iPad's limits, namely light- and there being not enough of it. Perhaps you can sell a little flash light, so our paper markings are bright enough to be seen… The grid screen was essential to this game. We wish we hadn't played the "before" version. We wonder if we would have liked this version if we had not played the one before? We certainly feel like we would be frustrated, as we are in this reality. We would love it if there was a to have the grid screen back- any chance? This is the first review we have ever written on the interwebs. How unfortunate that it is a negative one. :( Please note, we truly love our Osmo, and THAT is why this is so depressing.

This game is awesome we can draw like we never thought we could. Even our mom likes it! She's drawn us our dog and everything she thinks is interesting. We got our miny iPad for Christmas this year (2016) and we've loved it ever since! -great app.

Makes it nearly impossible to play. Every time you put your hand in front of it, it mistakes your hand for a line.

We hope you can fix this unless it's made that way.

We would love to try this but it doesn't work after opening which is a shame especially after we spent so much money on the kit.

We can't get the newest version update to download and can't delete to try to reload it. Just have a gray icon that looks half completed.

We just like it because we like Osmo.

Better then all the other osmo games !'.

THIS GAME IS AWESOME LIKE WHAAAAAAT we PLAYED IT SOME MUCH MY IPAD DIED.

This is our daughter's favorite with the OSMO.

This app is a blast on our iPad Air 2! The app installed easily and play is intuitive. Both adults and kids (we suggest kids be 5+) enjoy using objects and drawing lines to accomplish the challenge of each level. Solid colored objects work best but the camera's ability and software interpretation of non-solid colored objects or objects with a lot of surfaces or textures create interesting effects. Newton is easily our favorite game, so far, of the available apps (Tanagram and Words being the other available apps).

This app works great. Our kids are having a blast playing this with our new Osmo.

This app is really fun! But did you know that you can use any object to do this? We rated this 4 stars because it's hard to set-up when it starts, we think it should have a "start now" button before all the dots start falling down.

Our 4.5 yr old loves this game, it's so fun. Unfortunately the achievement page is stuck and we aren't able to play it anymore. We can see the game countdown and play behind the screen. Please fix it.

The drawing app won't do anything…but other two apps work fine. Super disappointed.

Tangram and Words are super fun. Our son loves them both. Newton, on the other hand, doesn't work. The page loads but it is unresponsive.

Set up seems okay and Words and Tangram work fine, but Newton gets stuck after intro setup with what seems to be a "Lorem Ipsum" placeholder. Amateurish showing for something that seems otherwise so polished. (On an iPad 4/iOS 8).

Second day and still doesn't work after deleting and reinstalling…still nothing! Very disappointed. Our daughter got for Christmas and hasn't been able to play.

The app loads but doesn't do anything. The Tangram and Words games work fine. Even tried reinstalling. No go.

We put this down in our computer lab in front of one student. She figured out Tangrams, then moved on to Words. By the time she finished Words, 8 more students had come over to watch and join her. Then we got out Newton. That one took a moment of instruction, but after that they took off. This is truly one of the best iPad apps we have ever seen. We would like a little more instruction on Newton, but otherwise, it's all great! We're anxious to order another couple of sets and get more kids involved. We leave it with this: the little girl we started on it played it for about 10 minutes and said, "our dad asked us what we wanted for Christmas the other day and we couldn't think of anything. Now we want Osmo!" That pretty much sums it up! Fun for kids, adults, special ed – everybody loves it.

We preordered the osmo as a gift for our 7yr old son and waited for it to arrive for months to arrive. It's everything we hoped it would be. It's just like the video. Our 4yr old loves it too. Great for hand eye coordination and problem solving.

Of the three apps Osmo apps, this one is far and away the best. Its super fun as is, even though its really just a great proof of concept.

Can't with to try it with the kids! We know we are fascinated by it.

This is a very cool and educational app, along with all of Osmo's games and the base. They have really made something cool here. We enjoy playing it along with our son. We just have one wish… Go back in time and sell these things about 40 years ago, then we will be extremely happy.

This app is really well done. Kids are loving it.

This is an amazing interactive use for the iPad with the real world! Our only criticism is that if you actually draw you need a new sheet of paper for EVERY puzzle, but a simple solution is to instead use the Osmo Tangram wooden shapes – they work perfectly & can be moved/adjusted without the top of your page getting in the way as an unwanted barrier :).

Our elementary students, co-workers, and our teenagers can't resist playing this game.

Like all of the Osmo stuff, the accessory hardware is of pretty good quality, but the software is terrible for the price. Buggy as hell, it must have been programmed by the worst offshore developers money can buy. With more than a few balls, the game slows down to a crawl. Camera sensitivity cannot be set. OK, it may be an early version, but this is unacceptably bad.
