A Glimpse into PEEP and the Big Wide World Hide and Peep
Play hide and seek with Peep! In this Hide and Peep app, that lovable chick, Peep, and his friends are hiding. Can you find them all?
Peep and his friends peek from their hiding places in the tool shed. Kids then tap the screen where they think each character is hiding. Since every good scientist needs a keen eye, this game helps kids practice the observation and memory skills integral to scientific habits of mind.
The first level of this game has three characters hiding. If they are all found, the lights go out and the characters hide again, ready for the next round. The difficulty increases only if the previous round was successfully completed without mistakes.

We love the TV show, so we were happy to see this. This is a cute game-it’s almost like the "Memory" card game. You have to remember where the characters are hiding. Only reason we gave it four stars instead of five is that I’d like to see more characters: maybe Squeak the mouse, the raccoon, or the bat. Also could give more variety with a slightly different setting? Like maybe under Quack’s bush? We like this better than Paint Splat though. More variety, just by the nature of the game.

Cute app if it didnt turn vertical for no reason. Please fix.
This app was fantastic. Then after awhile it only worked in the vertical position, would not move to horizontal on tablet. But the app is horizontal so the sides were cut off. Really upset our 2 year old who could not find the hiding animals because the were off the screen.
Our son (and i!) adore this tv show, and he loves to play all of the peep apps. We love that he is learning, and we love the characters and humor.
We came back to get all the Peep apps because our 2-yr-old just loves them! Not anything fancy or complicated, but enough to keep his interest and stay challenging. We really like the voice inflections and the way this app deals with successful and not-so-successful attempts.

We only get the white screen with the letters. Please help us fix this.
Only one of the apps are working for peep. Can you please fix them. They aren’t sons favorite games to play.
Same here. All of the peep apps just hang on the white wbgh screen when they open. Please fix! Our kid is bummed out about his fav apps not working.
None of them will open just display blue WGBH ??? What am we doing wrong?

This is a great game for kids. All the apps for Peep and the Big Wide World are the same ones you can find on their website but much easier to use on the iPad. The only problem is that if you ever hit the "i" button at the top right of the screen it puts you into an information screen that you cannot get out of. The only way we have found to get back to the game is to delete the app and reload it. We found this to be true for all of the games from Peep and the Big Wide World. Hope they get this fixed. But still these are all really great games. Just don’t hit that button.
