Probably one of the best AR games out there. Its a little hard to pick up and get to control but after that its amazing!! The little pet kept us entertained until our phone died. It really interacts like a real pet aside from the parts where you have to pick up poop (which is a plus, because we hate picking up animal poop.).
This game is literally keeping us motivated every single day to go on our phone or device and catch up Peridot at least once a day because this game is a fun interactive place where you can explore New World and this is so fun.
We love this game we started playing like 3 months ago and it so good! We have so many of them already! Can u make another game like this pls with no adds.
Been playing it for a few days and we love it but so far when we want to rescue one it wont show, stays on ready but the music and sound effects will keep going, Im assuming its a little glitched but we could be wrong.
We just got this game 3 days ago and we ABSOLUTELY ADORE IT!!! Feral Dots come regularly, and they age up as fast or slow as you wish! They even have their OWN PERSONALITIES. We HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE. Plus, we have not seen One. Single. Ad. At all, ever. 100% recommend it! Best Wishes, -Suri.
We kinda like it so far, we think its a little weird that theres no sound though.
Overall this game is AMAZING and fun. The only problem we have is the glitches and bugs. Sometimes the game wont load and open when we have perfect connection. Sometimes the peridot slides away from our screen and when we double tap it to bring it back, it keeps sliding away and glitching. Right now as we're writing this the game wont load and is stuck on the loading screen. It loads more than half but then stops, we restart the app but it still does it and we have to wait for a long time before it works.
Peridough should be way more accessible. We can dig up Sundrops and constantly farm Blightbux, so Peridough needs to be easier to get too. Also, at least every other day (if not every single day) there should be a Nest available for Blightbux or Peridough. If you cant do that then bring back crafting Nests, we should at the very least be able to craft 2 Nests a day or every other day. Honestly who in this economy is able to pay $5 for a Nest every. Single. Time. Its just not feasible and people should be able to just enjoy something without it hurting their pockets. You can keep the bundles and stuff. Im sure people who can afford it buy it, which is definitely giving yall enough money to keep the game running. We wouldnt have an issue at all with the in-app purchases if the dev team of this game wasnt basically making them mandatory. This game is pay to play, not pay to win. Its entirely backwards; what app has ever done anything like that?? None because it makes no sense and doesnt work. The whole point of the game is to breed for better traits and eventually get archetypes so why would you take away a CORE MECHANIC of the game?? It makes zero sense. Also, how much you spend breeding with rescued/feral and friends dots needs to be less random. Its definitely randomized, otherwise we wouldnt already have the archetype we do. You should spend less or more depending on how many traits from that dot are still locked for you.
We have all the respect in the world for this development team. This is the first game Niantic devs have really been able to make on their own, not based off of someone elses IP. You can feel the love in it, truly. This recent major update (over a month ago), however, has ground down our patience and love for the game. Progress is slower, and despite their efforts to make Dot interactions more engaging, we feel it has become the opposite. For weeks now we have felt less and less inclined to play. It kind of breaks our heart, because we really loved it and wanted it to succeed. The paywalls havent gotten any better. The QOL updates havent made things better. We know they are working hard on this project and we so appreciate it. But at this point, it just doesnt seem like the engaging game it couldve been. It felt like it was on the right path, but has veered way off it. Hoping for the best.
We absolutely love this game. We think it has so much potential and is already a blast to play. However the pay to play aspect of how expensive nests are and how much it slows down your ability to progress is quickly seeping the enjoyment out of it. Im not looking to spend half our paycheck on a mobile game and unfortunately it seems like thats very much the developers end goal. The developers need to eliminate the pay to play aspect or at least have decent in game currency alternatives for nests. This game could be great but ninantic is going to loose any potential for long term players if things dont change. It doesnt take long until you hit that pay to play wall.
We were overcharged for purchasing a nest basket for 15$ and was charged 30$.
This is a great game! We think peridot is very great you can play with your dot in ways you would play with a real pet! Peridot is very kid friendly. In peridot you can interact with your dot, adopt new dots, hatch dots(with friends and with wild and rescued dots), you can even dress up your dot!! Your dot has a personality and unique traits that can be different for each dot! We think this game deserved the five stars we gave it!! We hope your game gets a bunch of five stars we love it.
This is the cutest game we ever played like its so fun when its not too fun, but still very adorable if we had to say one single problem about this game our pet in the game named sharpie does not even know what is anything like when she thinks she sitting on the couch when shes sitting on the floor like why but its still very good game now sharpies is not evolving into a young adult we have been waiting for that. So can you help us when that happens.

Amazing game, we love hatching dots and rescuing them. The graphics are amazing, could use more activities for the dots beyond just fetch though it is still quite fun.

We love the game it's adorable and sorta fun and very calming.
Its very cute but the prices are outrageous. Nests should not be $5. They should not cost money and earned by more quests.
We restarted fresh, and we like it so much better than before. You can still buy nests, but it seems like earning them is easier at least. So many wild/feral Dots give so much to choose from for breeding. Our first Dot after cycling through the parents was LED and Im LOVING that shimmer/rainbow! We want to both keep that trait but also try to do archetypes finally got a 2nd gen LED. Now, since we want to play with certain Dots, we wish we had a feature to release the ones were not using or breeding. Is that a possible thing to add.
We usually cant get into phone games but we enjoy peridot. We love how you can play the game and still enjoy it without having to spend a ton of money. Each dot is super unique to.
We started hatching Peridots when the game came out. They used to have all kinds of individual tasks and interactions with your Dots. They took those away and replaced it with rescuing Dots from blight. As someone in a wheelchair, we just cant get the height above the rescue, nor can we back up as the rescue dot hops around. Plus, we think we have spent as much in six months as we spent in PokmonGo since its inception. Im about to hit lvl 50, we have all the current archetypes. Why should we keep playing and paying? Nice online community is about it.
We seen the game ad on tiktok and decided to give it a chance but oh brother is this game laggy , doesnt respond correctly to anything we do , and just ended up being a overall waste of timing . We gave it a chance but what with the circle motions?? They dont respond how you want NEVER! Trying to catch another monster thing didnt work at all they just stared at each other and our monster just goes to sleep and thats it.
First we downloaded the game/simulation but after we put in our parents email it told us that the app. Is having an inconvenience so we had to wait around 30 minuets. So after 30 minutes our parents confirmed e-mail, then it tells us to put in their card number but in the adds it said no money waisted. Plus it drains our battery twice as fast.

We like the game but can you please add a feature where your dot can play with a friends dot and they can have a play date? Just an idea. Good game tho :).
The game should have a play date mode for like when you can meet up with your friends and there peridots and you all can just chill watch a movie go on a walk ect but a play date with another dot would be amazing.
This game is the best it is very fun and we might be keeping it until we turn 20 and 30.
We love that we get to breed dots and. Walk them and explore we kinda miss some of our old dots but this is a good game.

First of all, thank you for making this game. Its a genuine gem and Im so glad it exists. We hope it will continue to do so in the future. It has so much potential and we want to see it thrive. We adore all of the dots that were able to collect. The models for these little guys is amazing. Theres so much variety, and knowing that each one is entirely unique, makes it even better. As far as gameplay goes, Peridot gives us incentive to get out of the house and explore and enjoy nature. We love it.

This game is a fun game but there are constant notifications and we have to stop what Im doing just to feed and play with our peridot, we have other important things to do. Its a fun game but its annoying.
Two things Niantic 1. Prices two high 2. It sometimes doesnt let us purchase things and it also happens with Pokmon go.
Love this game, but it is too expensive to be sustainable. Will likely have to take frequent breaks from playing in order to enjoy it.
We love this game we just really hate that the nests costs FIVE ACTUAL DOLLARS we get they cant be infinite but really least make it in game currency.

This is such a cute idea, raising little virtual creatures that dont get sick or die, as we found it really stressful having virtual pets die. We especially love the variety of Dots in the game, and how many different traits there are. However, the main issue with this adorable virtual pet game is the paywall. Its understandable why youd need to utilize micro transactions in a game, and amazing how so much of it is free, but in our opinion its a bit much to ask for 5 dollars for a nest, every single time. An idea to fix this would be certain special nests that can be reused once or twice like incubators in Pokmon go. Or maybe being able to buy them with ingame currency, like in the Blightbux event. Thank you for your time, we hope the issue will soon be resolved.
Ive talked to players of all ages on Peridot! Its a really fun game where you get to hatch little animals called Dots with different traits. There are games and all sorts of fun things for them to participate in. The game calls for players to be attentive and active as well! Ive found ourselves addicted to it (in a good way)! We dont normally play games on our phone but found ourselves loving this one. The reason why we rated it 4 out of five instead of 5 out of 5 is because of it being a newer game, there are still LOTS of bugs for the game creators (Niantic) to fix and though youre not required to spend any money, it definitely helps you move forward in the game to do so.
Ive only been playing for under two weeks at this point. Ibe decided we only want Orange Peridots. Ive hatched three eggs and our 3rd hatched pet is identical to our original pet. Their traits and amount of stars allocated are exactly the same. The only difference is the personality section. We have a level 9 and level 1 and watching them we cant tell a difference in their personality. Is this (identical pets) supposed to happen? We were under time impression each pet would be unique.
This is a really good and fun app! We really enjoy checking up on Shrimp and Poop Sock! However, there is one problem. Every day, we get a notification that Shrimp is starving and is in need of food or will die. Like, cant it just dig in our bag for its own food?? It has arms, doesnt it? And now we have to deal with this tiny little dot baby because Shrimp decided to do the tango with this big feathered Beyonc dot. Shrimp, you naughty boy~ As we were saying, why the heck does shrimp have to eat all the time, like dang, okay heifer-cow. We suggest downloading the app, its free and fun to check up on every 3 weeks or so. Last week we checked up on shrimp and he was almost dead, floating like a fish. Ehehe~.
We're liking most of the newer update with the feral dots and allowing you to unlock new wild dots to breed with. But, man, it's so hard to age up your dots now. You used to be able to spam the Desire objectives, but you can't anymore. So, we've been feeling less inclined to do any breeding because, what's the point? We can't age them up anymore.
How hot it makes y phone and eats up the battery and we have a new iPhone 14 Pro Max. So stop needs some work and a way to play without camera to save battery and cpu.
First of all WHY DID YOU MAKE IT SO BIG we cant see the feral dot cus our dot is covering it LIKE REALLY?and then when we do a circle it breaks when it should connect and then we have to restart then the Time is so short when you did for the first time it gave you so much but then gives you 30 seconds HOW DO YOU DO THAT?we wouldve given a good review this isnt great please make the blight thing more time and shrink them alot so we can see the feral dot thank you.
