What Makes Scream The Game Stand Out
This app is designed to be used with the Scream Game from Funko Games. This cooperative board game is played in real time. It's a fun, tense and fast-paced experience! Work together to play cards as fast as you can. Rush to draw and trade for the cards you need to complete your scene. If you complete all the scenes before time runs out, and before any player is killed, you all win! If not, Ghost Face gets you and you all lose!
Ghost Face (voiced by Roger L. Jackson) will call you using this app to taunt, threaten, or stalk players during the game as described in the instructions and how to play video. Make sure to keep working together and prevent players from becoming Ghost Face's next victim!
Need more of a challenge? Select Hard Mode in the Settings and Ghost Face calls more often and you have less time to win.
The game defaults to Moderate language, but you may choose Strong language for more graphic and intense narration from Ghost Face.

The game is honestly pretty good. You just have to put seven usernames take a picture whatever but to be honest we very want to play like go download its fun.
Game is fun but the Normal mode and Hard mode buttons are switched.
While we like this game a lot. The app doesnt work after your first game. If you hit play again itll start the game with the same people but then we never get him to call again. We have to start all over every game which is slightly annoying.
Love the game only problem is each round typing the names again.
This game is so addicting all of our family members cant get enough! The only issue Im having is in hard mode it the app seems to glitch and ghost face never calls. Weve kind of master normal mode so were looking for more of A challenge but it just wont work. Going to try deleting and reinstalling to see.
So we were in a summit flip phone and we saw this on the google play store so we put in our password and our email address and it said compatible then once we were done it said not compatible. It would have been really cool on a summit flip phone because it could link to scream 1996.
We got this game as a christmas gift. Our family loving horror movies thought it would be cool and did not disappoint.
This game is a hit with all our friends and our teen kids. The game is very fast paced and exciting. We love the all the interactions. Could easily be a 5 star game with some tweaks. The issues – on hard mode Ghostface doesnt call at all. This has happened 3 of the 4 times weve played on that mode. There are four locations but Ghostface only interacts with two of them. It would be nice if all four locations were included in the game play beyond finishing the scene card. The voice is very quiet at times. We play connected to a Bluetooth speaker to hear better. The how to play video wont play but its easy to find one on YouTube.
Our 3 friends and we did up to hard mode up to 8 players with all the locations. We played for 3 hours and we never died.we recommend adding more threat prompts like, switch hands to the players to your left or switch locations to the person to your right. Expansion packs would be sick to.
We think this game is super fun, we will say we had four friends playing and at first even on normal it was a little tricky when ghost face calls specific people and you have to get them items, so we kept losing at first. Finally we figured it out and we started winning but its still a very fast paced game and you have to really work together. We like the app concept and it definitely keeps you on your toes.
Only thing that needs fixing is that in the board game there are 4 locations and on the app scream only says 2 its missing the pool hall and hospital and it would be cool if when you finish the game it says your time, but other than that the game is perfect.
Every other game we play if we do not reset the app entirely it buffers and plays the screen animation but ghost face will not call us the entire game but has no indication that it is broken. Once you reset it is fine and is otherwise a great game.
The How To Play button gives a Not Found message.
When we got in the app we went to watch the video but when it took us to the website it wouldnt let us watch. We dont know whats wrong with it but we tried a few times. Besides that its an awesome game. Would recommend.
Ive played 3-4 times its fun we jump and scream every time ghost calls (Im just scary like that lol) we like it cuz Im a big fan of the movies but it could be organized better tho . Give it a try tho the $20 was worth it for a few times of play.
When us and 3 other players played this game the ghost face would call and stalk the person when the player would just finish there scene and cards. Then the ghost face would say give us 3 keys or you die. It only gave us 15 seconds to do that. So we would automatically lose. We kept trying but there was no point because it kept happening. Please make this app more balanced. Thank you.
Hi! So, five star review because we genuinely enjoy this game! Its super fun to play with friends, and a perfect addition to any Halloween party! However, we do have a question and/or concern. Does anyone else have the problem of the game messing with the home screen of your phone? When we tilt our phone sideways and dont open the lockscreen, eventually it will change the clock and the whole background red and black, and will use pictures from your camera roll to use as a background, though its all red and black, barely visible unless you squint. We found this out by accident, when we were simply vibing and soon saw Ghost Face was starring backs at us, again barely visible on screen. We tried it with our friend who also has the apps, and the same thing happens. Does anyone else have this problem, and can anyone explain if this is normal.
Loved everything about the game, just needs maybe a bit more lines for ghostface.
We were at a bookstore and randomly saw this, as a scream fan we were all for it! It is so quickly paced your able to get through around 4 rounds within 1 hour determining how long each round is, its so difficult on the normal mode though so we tweaked it to make it a little easier, we played 8 and won 2 so it is overall great and everyone loved it accept our competitive sister PS: she hates losing. Haha we definitely recommend it though.

Dec 2023. We got this game for our man Birthday celebration its sooo fun we will be playing it again today at our Christmas family gathering cant wait.
We just got this game today and what can we say its a fun experience with family or friends 100% should buy.
Great game, its fun and intense but when you want to play again it has you put the same people in all over again, which stinks! Love the game.
Please add like a favorites tab where you can save the names of you party so we dont have to input the names each time. It would be great that you could increase (or even let the players select) the time between calls. With 8 players it was super stressful to meet Ghostfaces demands if the one thats called just completed their scene and cannot get more than 1 turn before he calls back.
The game itself gets a full 5 stars – so much fun and we love the teamwork aspect! We only wish we wouldnt have to type in players names every time. If we could save the players from game to game and just have the opportunity to make edits before a new game is started, it would save a lot of time.
Game is very fun but when you hit new game after you win/lose, it should save everyones name in the app so we dont have to keep retyping everyones name for each game.
We love the game and its contents but ghost face only being able to go to the school and the house seems boring. Can yall make it where Ghostface can go to the pool room and the hospital please.
Loved the game, very thematic. Suggestions for the app: Normal mode felt more like a medium setting. It definitely needs an Easy mode for slower players. Also, we really did not like having to enter names every single game. Needs to at least save the previous entries. Would give 5 stars after that update.
The game itself is really fun, the only downside is the actual app. There should be an option to repeat the game with the settings from the last session repeated. Its tiresome to have to type in each persons name and put in a photo again and again, especially when multiple rounds are played in a row. If that were fixed, it would be a 5 star game.
Love the game but its ridiculous that you have to reenter all names and pics between rounds. Makes it irritating to play multiple rounds.
Love the idea. Would love a bit more control over the timer to add or subtract time. We saw someone in a YouTube video complain about the lack of support so we want to echo that. Id hope there continues to be updates to the app.
We absolutely LOVE this game! Ghostface is our favorite, we literally have a tattoo of him. Our complaint is that the hard mode isnt hard & the strong language could be stronger. We would live more cursing and gore. And the hard mode DEFINITELY needs to be harder, its not challenging enough. Also, an update on Ghostfaces phrases would be awesome. Ive memorized them all lol. Other than that, we love it.
The first time you use the app its great! You enter each players name and take their pic and youre all set! The problem is when you play multiple times. Instead of saving all the players names and pics, you have to re-enter all that information all over again and its really annoying especially with higher player counts. Hopefully this could be updated in the future.
2 main issues – Ghostface ONLY threatens high school and Macher house, and the fact that after you finish the game you cant just press replay, but you have to make all the profiles again is a downer.
We had a blast playing this game, but why do we have to enter the players every time! Takes too long and got real annoying! We probably played 25 rounds and we had to keep putting in the players EVERY SINGLE TIME! Fix that and you have a 5 star game.
The setup time could be cut down substantially with an added save feature. Not having it adds frustrating repeated setup on a digital device that could bypass it, and unnecessary friction to replay.
This game is really fun once you get into a groove, though you will need a group of people who is willing to pay attention to the game while its going. If youve got people who arent very invested, youll lose quickly. Our main reason for the 3-star rating is the app. While it generally works well, weve encountered some issues where Ghostface calls a player and threatens to call back asking for 3x of a specific card, but then it never happens. Im guessing this is not an intentional game mechanic. Also, as others have mentioned there is no way to save the player names/photos from one game to the next. Its really frustrating when youre playing with the same group, but instead of jumping into another game you have to go through the trouble of typing out everyones name before you start a new game. Would love for the devs to show the app some more love – if so Ill happily update our rating. For now, Id say purchase the game with caution knowing that its not in an optimal state.
The game is really good, our kids and we love it. The different playing modes and difficulty are great! We would give it 5 stars if you could only save your players or at least continue with the same player (and photo) as before. As it is today (10/17/2023) when you win or lose the game, you have to enter all the players again, you cant continue with the same player list. Still, overall we recommend the game and App.

Until they add a function to save the names you enter this app basically ruins the game. If youre playing at a large table and you have to re-enter everyones name every time you want to play people tend to lose focus and not want to play anymore.
This game is so much fun and it makes zero sense that the app doesnt retain your players names. Considering how quickly the game goes, its a deterrent to guests when they have to wait for you to input their names every single game. We just want to hit play again and have the option to edit the players we have already inputted. Its a very basic functionality that isnt available.
The game requires you to be off silent mode, but our silent mode is always on because the switch is broken, therefore we are not allowed to play the game at all. Get rid of this feature.
We cannot get our keyboard to go away to push done after entering the first name.
See it's a fun game! They ask you questions and if you get one wrong, BOO-GAH, you die. We just happened to be the first one to get it wrong.

We got this game for our birthday. As a huge gaming family, weve had a great time! It is super easy to learn and fast paced, so you can play several rounds quickly! We love the game pieces, the figurine is super detailed and all the cards look great. The knife piece to symbolize turn is super cool, but a little cumbersome and often got ignored as the game went on. Our main critique comes within the app. The design is super cool, and there are no issues when playing the game, but the set up takes the longest time. There is a button to play again, but it takes you back to the beginning where you must write in all the players again, as well as check off a number of settings to begin the next game. The ability to save settings, as well as previous players, would bring this game back up to the five stars it deserves! Incredible game, and Id definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoy games like Space Team, as it is of a similar vein! Also obviously to any scream fans.
First, there needs to be a way of playing again without having to enter all of the names all over. That is a big issue when you have a lot of players. Second, there is a point in the narration where Ghost Face demands to be shown three phones and he calls back before we can even all get a turn. This is a consistent issue every time we play. And its an instant lose situation. Makes the game unplayable. Great idea but please fix.
Really fun game, its tense and fast pace. We wish there was a whodunit element which would mirror the movies well, and add a nice wrinkle to the game play adding pause to if you could be helping the killer.
