Ominous clouds are gathering over Persia. The good natured king Badiya is mortally ill and the demonic Grand Vizier Zaved holds his subjects in an iron grip, bringing the country to the edge of ruin. To make matters worse, a shadowy disease has appeared out of nowhere, spreading across the land. A young and talented apothecary Tara decides to find the cause of this plague and prevent it from spreading further. A quest full of puzzles and challenges awaits, one that will lead her to the far reaches of kingdom and even beyond it. Luckily for her, Tara won't be alone in this endeavour. She will be assisted by a mysterious acrobat and swordsman Darius, as well as goofy but kind-hearted geenie Minu. We love it Im watching all of you.
We love these kinds of games and play them on a daily basis. This one is unique. The characters and character voices are great quality. The developers made the game serious with comic relief throughout. There was a particular part that we found amusing and just kept tapping to listen to it. We liked the way the gadgets are real high tech, but made with simple tools and materials (such as stone). There was also chemistry involved with the use of an apothecary kit. Follow the recipe to get the potion you need. Lovely music and artwork.
Great game and graphics. Nice story line. It was fun to play and mostly intuitive to get through.
Seven dollars and no bonus game??? Im not in the habit of paying for games but we got lazy. But we also have played a LOT of these type games and 99% of even the cheapest and FTP ones offer a bonus. Some of the bonus games are also most as long as the proper one. Feel a bit cheated. But did enjoy the game and graphics. With one exception. Too many chatty characters.
Very good game, good visuals, interesting storyline.
A major drawback is no internal strategy guide. We were stumped and had to Google search for a walkthrough. Otherwise it would be 4 stars.

An absolutely lovely game, albeit rather short. Artwork is beautiful & the sound was appropriate. We got a kick out of the character banter-cute and clever. Wish there was a bonus chapter, though. That would have earned this game a fifth star.
Great storyline. Bright and colorful. Great voiceovers. Not as dark and demonic as the other games. We loved the dual character play. Oddly enough, we loved how difficult it was to find some of the markings/collectibles it was a nice challenge. We hope theres a sequel! Totally worth the buy.
We enjoy cut scenes and character voice overs when they add to the story but this one has so much inane chatter that it makes it hard to enjoy the game.
The gameplay is good, but this game is extremely short and does not meet the expectations for the cost of the game.
There was less than 15 minutes of gameplay before you hit the paywall.
We had played many Artifex Mundi games, and this is one of the best ones they made! The characters are unique and the game setting is exotic! We wish they will create a sequel to this.
Can we just say that we are Persian/Iranian and we LOVE all the details in this game. Some things like the castle and some other stuff arent really apart of our culture, but we are DEFINITELY going to buy the full version.
The illustration is awesome! Also, the storyline was great. In all mixed with the puzzles it kept us glued to our phone.
The most beautiful and engaging game ive ever played. As an artist, writer, and singer im enchanted by the magical atmosphere, the voice of the girl, and the wonderful artwork. We hope you keep making and maintaining such games till the sands of time return to whence they arose.
We can't remember how much we paid for this game, but it is well worth the price. It reminds us of "The Room" in some ways. It is a mix of a great story, some puzzles, hidden objects, conversation, even a little action! It's just a great game all around. We like the fact that there is NO TIME LIMITS in this game! You can take your time, think about what you wanna do, and there is no rush. The graphics and the cutscenes are more like cartoons, but aside from that, we don't really have any complaints.
Please bring us more like this.
Puzzles are fun, never irritating, nice characters and stories, colorful little screens. We were more than happy to pay $2.99 to unlock the whole thing.
Another amazing game by the best group of people in the genre. We can't praise you guys enough. Your games should set the standard for all. Once again you've achieved perfection. Please keep them coming!!!! How we'd love to see you guys become number one in this field. Everything you put out is amazing and you could easily wipe the floor with the competition. The only thing the have on you is volume. If your started putting out games for frequently and on a consistent basis, no one would even remember those other companies names.
Having lots of fun with this game. More dialogue than we would prefer. Quality of game out shines that one negative. Hope for more games like this in the future. Recommend.
This is a great game. The story line is very interesting. The graphics are awesome and the voice overs are really good. The level of interaction is better than average. The games are good too. Not really difficult but they don't detract from the flow of the story either and fit into the plot. One of the best games we've played in a while.

Well another outstanding adventure! Quite a different storyline, Very clear & crisp graphics, hidden object scenes and puzzles, along with a collectible to find. Good character voice overs and a teleporting map as well. Plan on mixing potions in order to achieve goals. Maybe it's an over used word but this game is awesome. It has everything! Graphics, storyline, characters, narration, just simply wow!! This is game is well worth its weight in gold. Well worth it at s discounted price. Look forward to the next story in this series or some other high adventure.

We are loving this game. Beautiful graphics, great story. Our granddaughter loves it.nice to have a game she can play, too.
First off the artwork in this game is simply splendid! Colors are rich and vibrant, everything is crisp and well drawn. Has transporting indicated map, no diary but does have custom difficulty. Gameplay is straight forward and hint is available. As a previous reviewer has stated there is no integrated guide. We love learning about the folklore of other cultures and when combined with such a rich, vibrant and beautifully drawn story we're hooked! Verdict: BUY.

We have no idea the time it takes to make these, but it seems if you're going to make the effort to create something this visually complex, you'd make it as long as other games and just charge the typically full price of $7, or more. It would be worth it. That said, it is beautiful but if you're picky about game play, may not be for you. There is a strong lack of HOP scenes, and a lot of dialogue. We'd rather play than watch cartoons talk. BUT, worth the $3 overall. And we hope these developers are getting paid well because the art alone is worth more.

Ive played a lot of Artifex Mundi games. This one has got to have the shortest free trial of any Ive played. Usually theres enough game to make us want to buy the full game, but not so much with this one.
We're playing, and we're in the library, and it won't let us select the little hidden figure no matter how many times we try to tap it. So we won't get to collect all of them, because maybe there is a bug.
This developer has a clever imagination because they create games that combine novel storylines, impressive settings, and riveting characters. You play a young, resourceful, and daring apothecary, Tata, who sets out to put an end to the plague that is ravishing through the Persian kingdom. You are not traveling solo this time; rather, you are assisted by two oddball characters who add layers of backstory and help you achieve your objectives. The graphics are exquisitely rendered to showcase this developer's expertise in producing high-quality illustrations, as noted by the sharp attention to details. As an apothecary, you will exercise your skills by creating potent medicines to affect certain outcomes. The HOSs comprise the various types we have seen before. The puzzles are entertaining and include the story-setting types in which you find items in accordance with a narrative backstory. You can utilize the following expected components: custom mode, labeled and interactive inventory, and a teleport map with available action indicators. Transition between scenes is smooth; no glitches. You discover a singular collection set, which is inconspicuously placed. There are two drawbacks, which attribute toward deducting two stars. Firstly, gameplay is quite linear and does not bring much challenge to the table. Secondly, the overabundance of dialogue greatly diminishes the total playtime. Darius needs to stay off the caffeine–chatty is an understatement! Lastly, a bonus chapter is not included. This game is short and sweet; however, we would not want to pay any more than $2.99 due to the length. Had the game been longer, we would have rated it 4 stars. Our rating is 3 stars.
Do not bother. Play for 10 minutes and then they ask for 5 bucks. We assume it goes on like that. Pass.

Although, we think $5 is too high for this game, we dont mind paying for apps. We just hate it when they are sneaky about it. You cannot play this game without paying for it. It is not an in app purchase it is an app purchase.

It's not worth playing if you have to pay money out of pocket just to play a freaking chapter of the game . What a way to rip people off over what looks to be a great game. Shame on you creators. You don't deserve a single star rating.
