Pinball Tristan is the best iOS pinball if you’re looking for a quick game. Pinball Arcade has it beat in terms of table selection, but we play Pinball Tristan just as much as Pinball Arcade because it’s more playable on the iPhone, is perfect for a quick casual game, and the flipper feel is better than Pinball Arcade. Great game!
Wow this game is great. We swear we played this pinball game in an arcade back in the 70’s. Be careful, once you start playing it tough to put down.
Brings back fond memories. We loved this game from years ago and we’re so happy to have it again. While we have some great pinball games with hi-end graphics we find that we enjoy Tristan as much. Looks can lead one to think this game is without its challenges but players know that is not true. Do yourself a favor and give Tristan a try and you will be happy you did! Enjoy!!! One final comment… The "pause" sensitivity is much too sensitive and needs to be adjusted. Sticking flippers are reminiscent of the original computer game and we can live with that. But the "pause" swipe does need to fixed.
This game is as good as any we ever played in an arcade or bar. It’s engaging and a real challenge. It’s so intense we broke the arm of our computer chair trying to finesse the ball. If you love pinball, get this game. You’ll love it. Be sure to play in an armless chair.
We’ve been playing this game for years. The physics are the best, most realistic feeling. We have tried the other pinballs in the App Store. This one beats them for physics. Good game play that you won’t soon get tired of. We wish they were still making new ones.
Basic pinball that feels like a real machine. Great sounds! A nice way to unwind. No disappointments or frustrations. It’s a clean machine!
A great pinball simulator which is fun to play, not too easy but not frustrating either. It’s a simple design which works very well on the iPhone’s small display. If you haven’t already, try their Mac or PC pinball gamesthey are also great (and take good advantage of the larger screen real estate).

We’ve enjoyed this game on several platforms for almost 20 years. Never change! We’re writing because we sometimes get a message that the game may soon become outdated for futre iOS versions. We hope this never is the case.
This is one outstanding game. If you love pinball, you must have this one. It’s realistic and has all the elements that make up a fun, engaging pinball game. If it were available as a real table, I’d have one in our home.
Just figured out that you need the multiball jackpot to get a high score.

We had the original on our 1993 386 PC and loved it. This plays as good as the original although the left flipper is a little balky and the tiny screen doesn’t help, either. A great app, though.
Really terrific pinball, much better than the fakey sfx stuff a real simulator with awesome physics and real collisions. Fun sound fx and a challenging play field… This is "Ye olde 80s arcade" trust an old Aladdin’s Castle Mall rat.
Accurate live-action pinball. Great fun for anyone, but especially for those who experienced the original. Tristan was a real breakthrough- the first pinball game to be introduced to personal computers. The iOS version is superb. Thanks!
We love this game. It’s wicked fun to play on our iPhone and iPad. One of the best virtual pinball games ever. Now our devices are warning us that this game needs to be updated to 64 bit in order to remain compatible with future versions of iOS. Hey Littlewing, please update this game so that it will continue to work on future versions of iOS. Release it as a new version and charge us again, that’s fine as long as we can keep playing Tristan on iOS.
It says to shake the phone to tilt, but no matter how/when we shake our phone, it does not nudge like it did when we played this on our Mac LCII :(
The rock n play mode is so fun… The only flaw is there is a pause & resume but no save and resume later… In rock n play mode you can get extra balls & be on ball 1 a day later… Once you plug in the ipad to charge, you lose your game… Otherwise we would have rated it 5 stars.
We owned this game on a 3 1/2 inch floppy back in the early nineties. It was great then and even better now. Pinball forever !!
Maybe you should add some levels to that game.
The graphics are ok ball movement is adequate but it’s hard to get any kind of conrol without being able to nudge the table. The instructions say to shake for nudge this does not work. We emailed them about this and they didn’t respond. Don’t buy this!

We used to play tristan pinball on the Mac years ago. It’s a spitting image of the original and addicting as hell!!! Worth the buy IMO.
Perfect pinball game for the iPhone. Simple enough to not overwhelm the small screen. But engaging enough to keep you playing for hours. Well worth the $.
Graphics are so so but gameplay is super. We never play the other three pinball games we have on our iPad. Tristan rocks!

We like this game, and play it a lot. There are tricks to learn, just like the real thing.
Have been looking for Tristan for the newer computers but no luck. We still have the original game on floppy plus the ball. This is our husband’s MOST favorite game. Today is his birthday and lo & behold, we found Tristan in the App store. He is SOOOO happy! We may just lose our iPad! Fun, fun, FUN!!!
We love this pinball, and its counterpart Crystal Caliburn. Tristan is simple, clean and fun. It’s the first game we pick up. Our favorite!
LittleWing’s offering plays very nicely and has physics that just feel right, making for a fun game in spite of its simplicity. We hope to see Crystal Caliburn and Loony Labyrinth appear next!
No one makes pinball simulations better than Littlewing. Just can’t go wrong with this app.
When we were 12, it was fantastic one with vivid sound. Still good enough.
We’re sure we played this on various computers in the 90s. Flawless and fast on our iPad 1. Already worth the price in quarters. Yay.
