We dont generally ever get addicted to what we lovingly refer to in our house as clicky games. PineTar poker was another story, we loved having to figure out the tarot cards riddles and also just the challenge of a unusual rules poker game. We even beat the boss / floating eye! But we had to read a few forum posts to do so. We bought everything including the broken rune stone for $10,000 but we have no idea how to activate it! Maybe there will be a hint for that soon. ;)
We wasted our money on this. Why are there so many high ratings? This has nothing to do w poker. This is Yahtzee but you have to pay for it. And its not better than Yahtzee.
We like cheating at poker. Story is neat.
This game is really great and slowly reveals items along the storyline to keep you interested. We’ve played this since the public beta and highly recommend to everyone!

We don’t usually play card games but this one is so unique! We found out about it on HN. We really like the design and supernatural elements. We’re stuck after the second fortune but hopefully will figure it out.
An excellent and underrated game: the mechanics and storytelling are excellent. We think Im nearing the end after a good 6 hours of playtime, and we cannot stress enough how good the playtime is. This game is a quality storytelling seldom seen in mobile games and is definitely worth a purchase. We’ve got a few minor gripes on how little is explained, but we figure theyll be cleaned up over the next few updates. The press and hold to explain mechanic is rarely implemented, and sometimes we miss or forget the original explanation. Things like what does each hand mean or what does the moon key do or what does the pencil do are easily lost and cant be re-explained.
Helpful for teaching kids basic hands. Kids love it. Now theyre off to Texas Holdem as well.
A great game that makes you think, but not too hard. We just assumed it to be a typical poker game, but it actually feels pretty unique. We would recommend better descriptions for some of the items like the pencil, because people like us who arent too familiar with card game strategies dont really benefit from it. That being said, this is definitely worth the 3.99 we paid, and then some! Thanks to Jerma for introducing us to the game and the developers for the passion that went into making it great!
Definitely a relaxing and interesting poker game, good for learning the game or just obsessively trying to complete all the hand variants in each round. We enjoy that there are a couple outs in each round as you work on getting all the hands. A fun game with lots of replay value.
