Marvelous app, very addictive and intuitive. Controls like a dream, and getting a good pocket is very satisfying. Can’t fault the graphics, either – sleek and smoothe. Also, we recently lost our grandfather, an avid snooker fan who watched matches on the telly all the time. This game recreated those matches so well, it made us tear up. Bravo.
We don’t normally write reviews, but we decided to for this game because it’s an awesome choice for the billiards fiend. If you don’t want to pay you will still have fun with tons of options from 8-ball to 10-ball snooker, and 8-12 ft tables. Btw, snooker is a great game that we’ve never tried in real life. The free version comes with super precise and realistic spin options (you even have to chalk, as automatic chalk is not included). It also has many aiming options that train your eyes–there are full lines, to progressively shorter ones, to none at all (just like real life). Also, you can adjust the camera angle and walk around the table just as if you’re playing in real life. (Nickel and dime? Yeah right. They give you an awesome game that ISNT A DEMO, and allow you to upgrade at will). If you love pool, but don’t have a table, this is the next best thing. Get it. We learned snooker and have been playing without aimers. It’s honestly a great training aid.

When we first downloaded this game, we had no clue as to what Snooker was. All we knew was you played like regular pool. Now that we’ve learned how to play, we absolutely love it!!

For over 2 years we have been stuck playing World Snooker, fun but mind numbingly dull as we always win! Not so on this little gem. Great graphics, great sounds, brilliant angle and play shots and until we get practicing we will continue to lose! Highly recommended and without doubt the BEST snooker and pool app out there. Slightly annoying to have to keep buying upgrades though.
Excellent game. Very occasionally the computer opponent will make a shot that appears to defy the laws of physics. But that is a minor quibble.
This snooker app has a very nice look and feel. From the chalking of the queue tip to the way spin, loft of queue height in relation to ball, thickness of slice to the way the cue ball follows through or gleans off of the others, down to the different sounds that are produced depending on how hard or at what angle the ball is played, we must say this has to be the must realistic snooker or pool app we have used… And imagine, we are only using the freebie version!
We wish the direction indicator was longer for across the table shots other than that we really like the pool games.

We thoroughly enjoy playing this game. With a little practice and experimenting you will find yourself playing position and running the rack. Great game to learn and play snooker.
This is the game you’ve been looking for.
Title here says it all. Only suggestion would be to allow for more English and throw through higher cue loft positions. But even without that we really enjoy the ability to control the cue ball. Additionally the cue ball imparts spin on impacted balls just as in real play.
This game is very addicting! The simulation is amazingly realistic and fun to play. There is a significant advantage in that the computer never makes a mistake simulating the (human player’s) perfect handling of the cue. When we play (real) snooker, most of the problems we have are due to minor errors in the execution of the cue impact with the cue ball.
