This game is great for the price and cant get enough of this game! This game is very in-depth! It is also easy to dive in and stay engaged.
This is one of our favorite all time downloads from the App Store, specifically because it hits a nostalgia soft spot from our memories of Maxis sim titles from our youth. We highly recommend, and the in-app upgrades bare out a lot of value for the $1-$3 one-time purchase. Hey, a couple of small-time bugs we noticed. If the developers would be interested in contacting us, we would be happy to point them out. They truly are small (example: the Dining Out sub-goal does not count Large restaurants and therefore appears impossible.
Im totally addicted to this game and Ive been playing it for a while now. Its a very well constructed game with enough diversity to keep it interesting. The only thing that we would add is a way to change the rents by category or something like that. Its too time consuming and tedious to click on every office, every retail outlet, every restaurant and every apartment to change the rent back and forth. It needs a property management office. We highly recommend this game. Its a lot of fun.
This game is one of our favorites. So we bought the extra packs. We travel a lot and when not on WiFi, all our extra packs are not accessible. We wish this was fixed! Otherwise this game keeps us entertained and is easy to use. Provides a nice challenge.
Love this game. We're hopelessly addicted. Worth the price we paid. It would be nice to be able to build higher floors as well as wider foundations. Way better than SimTower.
We love this game a lot and even more now that we can take it on the go. But Ill wait to take it on a car ride when the DLC that we purchased stays with us when offline. When we can enjoy the DLC when offline Ill give this 5 starts. While we understand the solution its a somewhat impractical solution, as a need to play this game and its DLC may not arise till after you are far from internet service.
Like the game, but hoped you could build higher and zoom out more. Not sure how to hire the lobbyist either. Hopefully updates will fix the issue.
Its not a replacement for a full sim city type of game but its fun enough. Its limited in what you can build and the ratio of space needed for utilities is ridiculous.
Played this game for a day, but it quickly lost its fun because we didnt have anything else to do. Not sustainable to play for the long term. Limited office choices, limited restaurants and shops, we were hoping it would be more building choices like the original sim tower from Maxis. We saw the updated packs but really? Spend an extra $2.99 after we just spent $4.99 on the game? No thank you.
We loved sim tower when we were younger, excited to buy this but disappointed for a few reasons. 1) theres a limit for height of your tower (you can buy an upgrade to get it to 30-40 floors). This is a huge letdown, and you wont feel like you can build a true skyscraper. 2) the core game doesnt have many features, you have to dish out an extra 10-20 bucks to get that simtower feeling. 3) when you build a bigger tower, the bugs start coming out which ruins the expirence . Hopefully the developer will address these issues.
Great game, unresponsive devs, oh and if you buy the extra levels/content you cant use them offline. If you travel or use this app outside of WiFi you cant access the additional levels. Sent an email to the developers, we received a response about 10 days latter saying it is Apple that prevents the in app purchases from being used offlinewhich is not true.
We have seen this game on computer played by ConflictNerd and when we saw it, we hoped it would come out for IOS. 2 Years later and its here! Hooray! One of the best games, if not the best game there is! One bug we found though was that sometimes, in the main menu, two songs would play at once. Thanks for your cooperation! Like we said, best game ever.
One of our contracts is to build the tower to 20 floors, however it will only let us build 14 floors?! Cant find anyone else having this issue but its left the game unplayable now . Right when we were really getting into it.
This is a great game. Moving through the scenario but on the iPad, we have yet to figure out how to get a lobbyist and cable for the tv.
We really like this game. Its really easy to get into and its really fun to build your office building. However, the menu system can be confusing at times. Also the decor packs you pay for can not be used in sandbox mode it seems.
This game is… Addictive. It is a little hard at the beginning so if your new we recommend to do the tutorials. We bought a game pass for 1.00, but it was not fun. The game does not require wi.fi so we can play it on the go! Good Job Creators.
Finished tutorials and already we are interrupted for a review. Call it one star because how would know? Then two stars for being pretty neat for the 10 minutes we have played. Maybe later it will be four, or five.
Im very happy that this came out for the AppStore. Its so much fun. And Im really really really hoping that the rest of the DLC like Tokyo Towers, London Highrise, etc will come to app too and soon.
SimTower is back…on steroids! Seems ok so far… Couple of things.. Wish there was some menu for elevators.. We loved tinkering with them in the old game…and you have to pay additional for other features. Just double check expansion packs…. A little pricey.
This is a great Port of the PC version and a good price. It was a little confusing figuring out we had to buy iaps to unlock cable utilities Etc, many hours of fun but you do need to buy several iaps(one Time) to get the full experience. A modern remake of simtower.
We simply cannot locate the Cable TV utility. Is it not currently implemented.
Reminds us of the old sim tower that we loved. We really wish the developer would make more levels and improve sandbox options. We want to make a wide and tall tower with no goals but that is not an option. Doesn't seem like there have been any updates to this game in several years? – your concerned sim.
Is so cool because you get to build so many levels in Avenue Apartments are you get to have elevators and stairs.
If you like management/ tycoon, get it. Ive bought this game at least 3 times and am not disappointed.
This game is AMAZING. And we had a idea for a dlc, hotels and video game studio. Please consider this if you can. Love your game.
Instant favorite..we have spent hours with it so far and definitely will buy the expansions.. ..our one and only question is; wheres the travel agent office Lol! If your want is to endlessly build, we suggest the Sandbox mode Perfect non-violent game for those who prefer to not always be killing someone or thing.

We absolutely love this game except several of the contracts are broken. We complete the objectives of the contract but it doesnt recognize what Ive done. Id say maybe five or so contracts are affected. We wish we could buy more scenarios.
We love playing this game, can easily spend hours tapping away. However it is quite buggy, we currently am unable to place elevators properly on one level and the common area goal is also broken. Otherwise its great so far.
So we were building a hotel and made accessible for carts to reach but it keep saying cannot be Reachssible with a cart so please fix it P.S we like your game its very good also we cant spell.
Fun game that you can get lost in. A few glitches with the new update- cannot complete some contracts. Other than that good purchase.
Project Highrise is a great game! We started and we love the game! We would rate this five starts if they had hotels like in the Las Vegas version. Other than that, this game is great.
Good game, but many objectives are no longer completing as expected, and placement of objects doesnt seem to work sometimes. Needs an update.
After latest ipadOS updates, achievements no longer trigger. Could use a little modernization update.
There is a bug where the elevator wont place over the other one its rlly annoying bc our builders are angry about it so could you fix Ive tried doing it over and over again and removing the house above us but it still didnt work please fix it -procat06.
This is a wonderfully fun game in many ways, but in each of the scenarios Ive tried to play, at least one of the incremental goals are impossible to achieve, sometimes just a side contract, but sometimes the mission goal itself. This would be a five-star SimTower successor if these minor bugs were fixed. At this point, its an issue of trial and error. We realize the devs have moved onto another game for the most part, but it would be nice if another patch were coming in.
The music and sound effects do not work. We have the volume set to max and cannot hear a thing. Otherwise great game.
This game is perfect. Buy the add-ons and go have fun. Its a great simulation with a lot of variety. Perfect social distancing obsession.
Love the game great graphics and detailed but when we build up and start putting lux apartments restaurants etc on the highest floors it crashes. We cant get t to load goes to 100% and stops. Would be nice to have an update OS mobile devices such as our iPad. Please fix thanks.
We were looking for a modern replacement for SimTower and Project Highrise seemed to fit the bill, after reading a number of reviews of the game online. So we bought it. Its lots of fun, no doubt… But it appears that some of the content of the desktop versions (Windows & Mac) is missing. For example: Luxury anything (apartments & stores) HQ Suites (Tech Company, Broadcasting Studio, Government Office, Bank Headquarters) Other high-end stores, apartment and office types Use of HVAC as a utility (funny, the purple color is showing in the plumbing closets for it, but otherwise no sign of it). We know the iOS version of this game is not new any more and probably does not have much development effort any longer… But it would be nice if Somasim / Calypso mobile were to update the game to include ALL content from the desktop version. Until then, it will always be Project Highrise Light in our opinion.

This is the first review we have ever written and it is much deserved! This game is incredible and will keep you busy for hours at a time. It is a must-have for the Simcity builders out there – you know who you are! Not to mention, this game is cheap and does not attack you at all with in-game grossing. Thank you sincerely to the developers! Money well spent.
We really like this game. We have a couple of suggestions. Allow us to change the rent of all of a type of unit at once. So instead of having to go into each individual unit and raise or lower rents, we could just raise/lower for all apartments or offices. Also, please allow us to change the colors of the units. Not necessary on an individual level, but maybe all studio apartments could be a color we select, all 1 bedrooms a different color, etc. Changing the color of the lobbies would be cool too.
This game is addictive but frustrating because once youve invested so much effort and the building is busy the game kicks out randomly or while saving and you have to start all of your recent changes over again. We even tried turning off the auto save and it randomly kicked us out, all changes lost! Also the apartments dont require a/c which isnt realistic.
We play almost every day an this well we LOVE it.
Although this is 2nd Ill give you a few reasons. First theres Tiny tower and we think tiny tower is the first tower management game and its a big game on the AppStore. Then theres a couple of missing features in the mobile edition in the pc edition theres sky bridges in there so also theres no Las Vegas dlc in the mobile edition and also Berlin? Dont know about the Berlin dlc (unless that is a mod). But speaking of mods we know you may not be able to to this but is there a way to add mods to the game at any point like a custom car garage for a mall or a movie theater etc, that would be nice! But so far though the game is good.
What Bad2199351 said. Only one bad thing. We cant take advantage of the whole area because of the outdoor artwork. We cant build above them and they cost thousands of dollars, and are unmovable, so our only choice is to destroy them, build two floors, destroy the bottom one and then place down the statue again, costing thousands of dollars. But one of the statues we cant even move or destroy because it was paid for by the city so we cant put any floors above it, resulting in a large loss of space. But still five stars.
One of the best simulations on iOS bar none. Simply outstanding.
This game totally takes us back to earlier days when we used to let a tower game play for hours! The only thing its missing is the hotel rooms option. That would be a great addition to an already enjoyable game! If hotel rooms and amenities to assist were to be added, Id bump up our review to 5 stars.
The game itself is great, super detailed and fun. However the issue comes in when we go to edit the building. When we discover we dont have space and have to demolish a store to move it, the entire floor begins to say there isnt access, and there is nothing we can do to change it. Then the elevators break and it wont give us the option to send maintenance men to fix it, rendering the entire building and all the time spent on it useless. Because of this we have had to restart building three times. If these glitches could be fixed it would be perfect.
