The app is well designed. The content is top notch. But any network traffic like submitting an answer or loading another pun renders the app unresponsive or just crashes. It is obvious this app was designed long ago and hasnt had much love since more modern versions of iOS and iPhones have been released.
Doesnt take too long to load, not riddled with ads, its great, enjoy.
Would be 5 stars if not for the fact that once solved, your answer permanently disappears. Theres nothing more frustrating than stumbling back across something you once solved but for the life of you cant remember!!
Love the content but after recent upgrade the app freezes up on initial screens.
This app is a rare gem! The puzzles are challenging there is no in app purchases and we love that there are no hints or reveal answer option. It really does make us work hard to come up with an answer. We cannot recommend enough.
Im glad the answers arent provided, we would rob myself of the pleasure of solving it!
It would be helpful to get hints, or to be able to look up answers.
This has just the right mix of easy and difficult puzzles to keep it fun without being too boring or frustrating.

This website has been so fun for years and we’re so glad there’s an app now! We like seeing the fact that we’ve solved every one haha.
Very simple in its app design but the hilarious and clever drawings are what makes it so special. There is a great variation in difficulty between the drawings but we know that if we can’t get the answer it’s never because the drawing was lacking… There is ALWAYS the right amount of clues to decipher the answer. Sometimes there are glitches while using it tho. But they are minor.
This app is lit af, if you even remotely enjoy puns or word play or anything that’s fun then you’ll appreciate Monday Punday.
But they’re different for everyone.
This game has so many funny word puzzles! It really forces anyone to think hard and throw words in a funny and weird way to find the (not so obvious) answers. Great entertainment if played in a small company of friends. Some of the riddles are ridiculously hard! So good luck!:-)
Was introduced to this after seeing Matthew Broussard at a comedy show. He printed out a bunch of these. Ridiculously addicting and a fun way to pass the time for a quick laugh.
Punday is simply a great game. The developer has been updating this app for years with simple, original, and largely intuitive puns. The creator makes you use your mind and play with word association until your either babbling random syllabus or shouting the correct phrase. Try it out!
This app is so much fun! The one good thing about Mondays is the consistent brilliance from the puns. Our friends and we all love them.

The app only allows us to even type an answer occasionally. Love the puns and now religiously check every Monday, but the app freezes every time we open it except a random time here or there, usually when trying to type into the answer bar. Please fix! We don’t want to lose track of all the puns we’ve completed.
We love this app. We do it every Monday (sometimes it takes a few days…) and we’re still catching up on old ones. It’s addicting. They’re really clever!
We used to use this app all the time but recently every time we try to use it it crashes immediately.
Please make a hint button for this app. Some of these puns are too confusing and it is frustrating not being able to have any idea what it is.
Love the app. Lots of fun and the puns are clever. However, the app crashes A LOT. Not sure if it’s just us or if other people are experiencing this too. The app claims we have a slow internet connection most of the time as well, which we know isn’t true. We’ve tested it on multiple different networks as well as our cellular data connection and still get the slow internet connection error. Hoping a future update may address some of these issues.
We’re a big fan of monday punday. We like the app because it allows us to easily go back and solve old puns, track what has been solved, etc. However we find the app to be extremely frustrating because it constantly crashes and freezes. We don’t know if it is our particular phone but we have tried it on multiple networks and in different cell areas. Even our home network, which is generally good, does not work. I’d love it if this was resolved! Will continue punning.
Great companion app for an excellent brain teaser website. We love that it keeps track of which ones you have solved already!
Great app and easy to use, but tough as nails to solve sometimes. We really appreciate the new challenge each week!
The app was working very well until about 2 days ago when it started freezing repeatedly. We need to restart the app 3-4 times just to get it to load a new pun, and even then it usually doesn’t let us type in an answer. We love punday though, so please fix this soon!
This app is beautiful. Great design and hilarious puns!! Now.. If only we could stop people from giving us funny looks as we cackle at the puns on our iPhone!
Such a well done fun app. Puzzles hard enough that Im not always able to solve them all. That frustration is more than alleviated when experiencing the rewarding feeling of accomplishment when the solution is cracked. We compete with friends and relatives to see who arrives at the solution 1st! The anguish of our competitors desperately asking for clues create a strong schadenfreude that we cruelly desire!

Nothing makes us feel more clever than when we solve a rather difficult puzzle. We only wish all of the unclever puzzles that we’ll never be able to solve would be removed, as it’s clearly an issue with the puzzles themselves and not us. ahem

Getting a new pun every week is a bright spot on Mondays. The puns are fun and a good blend of easy and obtuse. Our main suggestion would be to have the option to see the correct answers once we’ve solved them. Overall very enjoyable for us and our friends. Thanks!
This app is fantastic! We used to have to go on the website every week to check for the new pun, but now we get a notification on our phone. These puns always brighten up our Mondays, and is a fun activity to do with friends! We also love that it keeps track of the puns you’ve already solved. Our only notes are that he would include the hints he puts on Facebook on the app itself, and occasionally the app can be a little glitchy -but even then there’s a bonus pun!
