Really imaginative characters, fantasy like scenes, and great storyline! From the very start the talking potion kettle had us hooked! Great voiceovers, lots of characters, and murder mysteries to solve. We love the references to so many fairy tales. Lots of hos, and they were varied; list, silhouette, find the difference, interactive, and one frog. Puzzles were fairly easy but innovative and well done. Collectible puzzle pieces in every scene ( we encountered a glitch where one puzzle piece was missing from a scene). Also 15 figurines scattered throughout the game. There is a dossier in the achievements section that lets you read about the magical figurines, and another detailing the cast of characters. If you obtain all jigsaw pieces, you receive a wallpaper. Just a really well done game with lots of surprises.
Im at the part where we took the potion that makes us small to go into the mouses house at the murder scene and it says check internet connection. Ive redownloaded it 4 times. We really love this game Id like to proceed.
So much better than the first game in the set. Enjoyed the HOP games as well as the magic and mystery work.
We literally downloaded 6 or 7 Hos games today and thank goodness you can try them for free because not one did we purchase. They were either boring, had a million hidden object scenes, or to easy. We read a review on another app saying to try this one so we figured what one more download and we're so happy we did. It's fun, there is Hos but not tons, mini games, you also become an alchemist throughout and well worth the money cause it's really long lasting. The story isn't some crazy story but we normally don't pay attention to them anyway but in all honesty this one is nice and short and we're actually not skipping through. We honestly suggest playing if you like these type of games!!! We're really happy we did and we hope you do too.
Resubmitted due to updated app: we did not play the first game in this series because the free trial was overflowing with HOS, which were solely structured as mundane word lists. We're glad that we are spoiled by this delightful and whimsical fantasy, which is chock-full of variety, royalty, magic, potion-making, dragons, and riddles. Heck, you even get to fly as a bird–high above in the skies! You will meet wonderful classical characters from our childhood era, such as Robin Hood, as you strive to save the kingdom and uncover the mystery of who the criminals really are. The graphics are beautifully hand-drawn, and this technique creates a realistic portrayal of your surroundings; we could actually gaze at the illustrations in awe for prolonged moments. Depending on the environment, the coloration can exude an overcast and shadowy mood; or it can reflect brighter tones to portray a more zestful and lively ambiance. Some of the creatures or the "talking" contraptions/objects that you meet throughout your adventure are eccentric in appearance, and they are ingeniously brought to life to interact as a human would; namely, the animated toys and the snail king. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. You can customize your settings. The teleport map gives smooth transport to labeled locations; and in custom mode, it indicates available actions. Manual transition between scenes is fluid; no glitches. There are a plethora of HOS(s) and puzzles to entertain and amuse you. The HOS(s) have been updated to include current-trending formats. Each individual scene is diversified in presentation, and items used suit the charming themes of the storyline. You can play a mini-game in lieu of the HOS, if desired. The puzzles are clever and will make you smile or laugh at times; we love the one where you concoct a potion while the critter-like cauldron cracks witty repartee. The collectibles compromise two types, and you have an indicator positioned above the inventory bar to alert you that you can collect or have collected an item. In conclusion, this game will keep you very busy as you are consistently mobilizing from one action to another; there are plenty of tasks to effectuate within each location. The ample integration of diversity and creativity further enhances our imagination and satisfaction. In accordance with the aforementioned thoughts, coupled with an enticing storyline, we think that this little gem is worth a rare rating of 5 stars, especially at a discounted price of $2.99.
This game is great. Its very imaginative, the graphics are rich and beautiful, the animal characters are adorable without being too cutesy and we loved going deeper and deeper in a scene.
We love both of the Queens Quest! Can wait for more.

We're used to Big Fish games and we hesitated trying a different developer game, but it wasn't bad. It was a little short though. Graphics were good and story line was unpredictable (in a good way).
We are addicted to the artifex mundi games and this one is extra special because you even get to be an alchemist and mix potions and turn into a bird or a small woodland creature! Gorgeous graphics, beautiful music and great storyline. Too bad it wasn't longer but It did have a bonus game at the end! Only thing we wasn't happy with was that we got charged more than what was advertised for some reason, which is why we are posting 4 stars, otherwise 5 stars! We sent a message through the website, hopefully we can get a refund so we can apply it towards another game.
Addictive game… Downside, had so much fun playing that didnt realize how short it was. Finished in 2 days.
What a well written, drawn, animated game! We were thrilled with the gameplay immediately. We had just finished another game and was really shocked by how much better this game was. Just get it, you won't be sorry. We're going after some more of their games.

This is one of the best games we have played in ages, and we play a lot of them. First, the graphics, colors and special effects are top notch. The storyline is interesting and not dark and full of mayhem. We love the interactive play. We are so tired of long, tedious and complex puzzles that have nothing to do with the story. It gets so boring and ruins the flow. Not this time. Keep making more like this one. Buy now, it's a deal.
We are thrilled by the reviews of Catalina (thanks for the rodent update; Dracyy forgot!), Dracyy and KimTwilight. After playing Phantasmat, we need a gorgeous and magical game! The question is, will we rate it 5 stars? You know how rarely we do so. We will get back to you after we play, and we are behind on gaming because we have been reading a lot, and feeling quite ill. On to the game. For $2.99 it was terrific. You could customize settings and there was a left-handed mode. It was satisfyingly long and had a short bonus adventure. The storyline was an amalgam of various fairytales. The graphics were magnificent. There was instantaneous loading between locations and a marked teleport map (occasionally glitchy) to transport you. Inventory was labeled and there were complex items to assemble. You experience travels through portals (we love portals!) and even into enchanted pictures. You get to perform magic and create elixirs with your alchemy kit. The game was heavy on the HO scenes, but there was variation and you could play a matching game if you chose. Unlike Phantasmat, we did not skip one mini-game, and we enjoyed them all. This game was not a "brain-strainer", and sometimes we need to give ourselves a bit of a break after a gruesome game like Phantasmat. We didn't even allow the RATS to bother us, because we so enjoyed the experience. Although the map was a bit hard to use at times and you were able to tell that English was not the primary language of the developer, we are not deducting any stars! We rarely do that but it was such an engaging, whimsical, magical game and we are rating it based on overall experience. We definitely want another one in the series! Lynxie sends lots of to our incredible, and thorough Dream Team Elite. You make our job very easy and we love you for it.

The graphics are gorgeous, glitch free gaming, quick load times, good story, and a wonderful mix of puzzles and hidden object scenes. With an introductory price of $2.99, you can't go wrong buying this game. Keep it up Artifex Mundi and Brave Giant. You two equal, and even surpass, Big Fish Games.
Absolutely gorgeous game. Great characters, storyline, hidden objects scenes of a variety. Mini games & puzzles are fun & unique. You also mix different potions to achieve a particular power to complete a task. Morphing collectibles to find as well. This is a Very well done game with lots to see and do. Pulled us in right from the start. We must say that we did have some glitch problems at the beginning of the game, with unresponsive taps and also some screen jumping. This seemed to subside as the game went on. Nonetheless, we would not let this keep us from purchasing this game. Very intriguing & Beautiful and one that we are sure will be enjoyed by most. Found only little harmless mice/possible rats. Buy & enjoy the view & adventurous story! Thank you Artifex Mundi ! Can't wait for your next release – please keep them coming more frequently. KdBoots.
Gorgeous artwork, fleshed out characters and lots of surprises! You get to make potions, shape shift and be a detective! Stories intertwine and nothing is as it seems. Good for all ages. Verdict: buy buy buy! This magnificent quest is a keeper.
We haven't finished playing the game but wanted to say so far: this is a very beautiful game, the graphics are gorgeous! Peaceful, not creepy, so far not too scary and an interesting storyline. We absolutely love the mini games and the HO games are very interesting so far. We will review again. Thank you for such a pleasant, beautiful game.
