Those seem like strange bedfellows, but we are writing to tell you that they are exactly what you need to relax and relieve your stress. We had downloaded the first 3 Quell games years ago and solved them again and again until it became tedious. How delightful to have new puzzles to solve along with beautiful music that soothes the souls. Great job, folks!
Bought all four games for $4.99. Money well spent. Great for downtime- calming and good mental exercise. We recommend purchasing the games because the adds in the free version disrupt the zen. Very enjoyable!
Wish there were more! The Zen edition had this intense Bplot with a story that progresses as you complete levels. It doesnt resolve itself and it is a bit bonkers but very intriguing.
The graphics are beautiful and the music is calming and serene. The puzzles seem to go from easy to hardest. Great game to exercise your brain and keep it sharp. We like that you can earn coins, which you can use for help when stumbled; to find jewels, secret passages, and even to show you the solution. We have played EVERY Quell game and can’t wait for the next one to come out. Please update the old games so we can play them on our iPad Pro once again.
As always, Fallen Tree Games provides pure joy to those who have the patience to behold it. The Quell series embodies the highest level of artistry and sophistication that can the medium of the video game can afford, and the latest installment is no exception. These games have always helped us through difficult times in our life, and they always seem to come out just when we need them most, and for that we are unquantifiably in debt to their creators. If you’re reading this: Thank you, sincerely. The best of the series? It’s so hard to compare one precious gem to another, but this just might be it. We can only hope to find new installments of the series every couple of years until our time in this world is done.
There’s nothing quite as addictive as Quell, and a new version is always welcome! This one is well up to the standard, and we’ll enjoy playing it again and again.
The Quell games are by far our favorites! We hope that there are more soon! Well worth the money!
The quell series is one of our favorites and this newest chapter does not disappoint. The graphics are lovely, the music relaxing, and the puzzles challenging. A few new elements are added. There are blocks you must arrange in a row to clear, and blocks that are turned on and off by trigger squares. Our favorite is that the maze moves a row one space over when you cross trigger squares. Highly recommended.
All the Quell series games are perfect. They are calm and soothing yet challenging; they keep the mind occupied with contentment, beautiful music, and beautiful colors. This is the best in the series because it seems the longest, has new elements that are entertaining to learn, and offers probably the most challenging levels toward the end. Please keep making these games!
A great way to work your brain and zone out too. The music is lovely, and we Never listen to other game music, but this is exceptional! The puzzles and beautiful and intriguing, delightful and frustrating, like a delicious sweet and sour dish. Great job, Quell folks, we’ve loved all your creations and this one is a gem.

The Quell series is a significant work of art on all levels. Compelling, comforting, challenging, inspiring.. We would love to have the option to move through chapters at the same level of difficulty as the first level, when we want a purely relaxing experience. As with Memento, we found some of the puzzles too complex to tackle. That said, we’re always looking forward to experiencing more Quell, and we’re grateful that we can turn to these gems that fill our heart.
Love! Love! Love! Worth every penny! The first time we ever played any of the Quell games was years ago, when Quell Reflect was Amazons Free App of the Day… We’ve been hooked ever since! Since then, we’ve purchased, played and re-played every single Quell! We were on the edge of our seat waiting for Quell Memento to come out (totally worth the wait and the money!), but was sad to finish it because we thought we had heard that the Quell series was meant to be a trilogy. So imagine our surprise when we ran across Quell Zen, we couldn’t fork out the cash, download and start playing fast enough! We’re such a fan, we have purchased and played all Fallen Tree games, but they just weren’t "my thing"… The Quell series is the star! Hopefully, the series will continue to grow!!

Please consider adding the following updates to all Quell games: ability to reset apps to fresh, erase memory without erasing prior purchases, tips for how to solve/reach very tricky locations for gems and portals whether for purchase or through a link to a blog about the games and how they are designed. We love Quell games so much that we want to go Behind the Quell! We want to know the designers, what inspired their choices, the colors, the music, etc. Thank you so much for making these games for us to enjoy!!!

This game. Entertaining, non-stressful brain exercise.
This is the very best in a series of wonderful games. We have played all the Quell games and honestly thought it couldnt get better than Memento, but Fallen Tree completely outdid themselves once again. Like the other games, the graphics are smooth, fast, and positively gorgeous. Again, like the other games, the music is wonderfully composed, beautiful, and relaxing. We liked the story aspect of Memento, but did find it a bit vague. We love the letters at the end of each chapter in Zen. They are just specific enough to be compelling, and we love how the story wraps up. We will most definitely play this through several more times.

Good visuals, progressively more-challenging puzzles, new mechanisms introduced along the way to keep things interesting. Includes soothing music. Lots and lots of unique puzzles, so, a good value. We use this to wind down before bed. Oh, and there are nice little creepy/sad story interstitials along the way.

Solved all the puzzles to the end. Resorted to getting the solution only four times. Sweet inter-level story. Beautiful! Glitch free.
Many puzzles are easy. A few can be finished better than perfect. But a few are insanely complicated with dozens of possible solutions, only one of which is the perfect one. Most hidden items are easy (a few way too easy) while others are much harder than the puzzle. No where near as good as the first three.

This game creates a new world for the peaceful Quell puzzler which is just as enjoyable as the previous ones, and thankfully a bit more polished too. The puzzles are definitely as enjoyable as the previous games, and we really have nothing negative to say about it. It’s a great game to play on the go, and a great game to focus more seriously on as well.
Quell has long been one of our favorite puzzle series and Zen does not disappoint. It continues with the traditional puzzles while bringing a few new mechanics of its own. The difficulty curve seems easier, but it is still just as enjoyable. If you like puzzle games, don’t hesitate to pick this one up along with the rest in the series!

All the Fallen Tree games are the very best the app store has to offer the puzzle lovers. Our favorite thing to do is to find the hidden levels. They are always in the most fiendishly wonderful places. Each level is so carefully crafted to delight the solver. Some are obviously designed to show you how a certain special technique is used and the other levels assume you have learned the technique and know how to use it. Thank you for an amazing experience!
Love this game. It is a little too addicting. There are puzzles and hidden puzzles and even a story as part of the game. Also, very polished. Buy this.
These are sort of games you can come back to over the years. All the Quell games have given us so much pleasure. We love that they can be played on more then one level. Looking for Gems, finding hidden puzzles, finding the the least moves and just solving the puzzle sets. There is so much to play.

THis game is quite fun; however, the levels get very difficult quickly and the "hints" are not helpful at higher levels….. Therefore, the other choice is to constantly buy coins to see how to even approach the maze. We suggest you have a tutorial with examples before each level. We have given up on the light show .. Too kiddish and not in keeping with a Zen theme. Looks like a pinball machine. Are there other versions that are more to what we have described? And what is with the letters? These are nonsensical and boring to us. Either stay with a Zen theme or make a flashy video game. Obviously we enjoy some parts of this or we would not take this time to give you feedback.
