GAME MODI
You want more than just a quiz? Here you go! Five different game modes provide variety and long-term motivation. No connection? No Facebook? No problem! Quizoid can be played completely offline and without any social media logins.
"CLASSIC"
This mode is also known from the TV of "Who wants to be a millionaire". You play until you get the first answer wrong. Right answers count.
"20 QUESTIONS"
Lean back and relax. The game always gives you 20 questions, even if you are wrong in between. Your average from all games in this mode will be evaluated. So if you are 5 times right in the first game and 10 times right in the second, your score will be 7.5. The goal is to get as close to 20 points as possible.
"ARCADE"
Also known as "Against the Clock". In 60 seconds you have to correctly answer as many questions as possible. The more you complete, the higher your score. Wrong answers don’t count, but they don’t mean game over. There are no lifelines here, because what counts is speed and good general knowledge.
"CATEGORIES"
The desired mode of many players, available only in the Pro version. You choose your favorite categories at the beginning. Only these knowledge areas will appear in the quiz. The rest of the game is the same as in Classic Mode. There are no highscores here.
"PRO"
For all those who either like it a little easier, or for those for whom it can’t be hard enough, there is the Pro mode. Also only available in the Pro version, it allows you to choose between 3 different difficulty levels. On "Easy" level you only play quiz questions of levels 1 to 3, with "Moderate" in the level range 2-4 and on "Pro" you only get the highest levels 5 and 6. The gameplay and highscore are the same as in Classic Mode.
JOKER
What would a quiz be without lifelines? Quizoid offers you four of them. The well-known 50/50 erases two wrong answers. The two-attempt joker allows you to answer twice. With the question-exchange joker, you can exchange the current question for another one from a category of your choice. The Tip Joker becomes available as soon as you reach the most difficult levels. It shows you a tip for the current question.
LOCALISATION
You come from UK and don’t care about US politics questions? No problem. Just activate the option "Localization" in the settings and you won’t see any US-specific quiz questions anymore! However, questions about global general knowledge will remain.
STATISTICS
In the statistics screen you can see your knowledge progress per knowledge area. The percentage of correctly answered questions out of all quiz questions played is scored.

Hands down the best trivia app for those who just like trivia, and arent looking for a bunch of dumb filler and social media features.
Quizoid is great! Our favorite game or in the top at least! Quick and no annoying ads.
We love this app. We enjoy playing and at the same time we are learning some things we did not know. It also keeps our mind active.
Instead of slapping em on the wrist with Sorry, (repeat question) was WRONG, how about showing them a REVIEW of the questions and pointing to what was RIGHT!
It keeps kicking us out. When it does that, it ruins our averse score. Aside from that, we enjoy the game.
We sorta like it but its too simple barely good at all.
Something strange started to happen recently that makes the app unusable. Our audio from other apps like overcast is intermittently interrupted by this app when Im answering questions.
We really, really wish they would make it so that you could change the screen layout orientation so we could more easily play this with our husband on our iPad while its set on the table. Not everyone plays this on an iPhone. Its a small thing, but itd be soooo helpful!
Quizoid has gotten ridiculously difficult since the update. And we hate that high scores are no longer recorded. This game used to be 5 stars. We do not recommend.
Brings so much more to the game. The update breaths life back into it with more fun options and challenges to put your trivia knowledge to the test!
If you purchased the previous version, they remove it without your permission and replace it with an ad supported version.
Great quiz game great for road trips.
We have fun playing Quizoid on road-trips, or if there is a restaurant wait. Many of the suggested answers will make you laugh, and we love that timely questions are included in updates :)
Great game. You can play alone or with others. You can keep track of your score or ignore the scoring system. For each question posed, you choose one answer from the four options you are given. Questions have various levels of difficulty and involve different popular cultural areas and many academic disciplines. Challenging and fun. Have been looking for a game like this.
We were bored waiting on the doctor, & playing this game made time fly.

We lost our sight and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in the Line of Duty as a Police Officer several years ago, as a Totally Blind user, this game is the Best!
We love this game , we haved learned so much from just playing it in a few short weeks, stuff we dont accept we look up and its always right. Wish we could just stick to one theme for a while see how high our score would go, we kinda mess up on chemistry and geography , anyway loads of fun!!
No dumb frills or commercial interruptions. Just fun trivia. Only downside is the level 1 and 2 questions are usually pretty stupid, so you kinda gotta click through them before the game starts to get fun.
Its so benefit game that gave us rich information over the world.
We really enjoy the trivia questions and can easily become sidetracked for long periods of time. What we appreciate most though, is the apps ease-of-use and complete accessibility for voiceover users. Good questions basic gameplay, we like the lack of time limit so you can play in a group w family and have time to read the questions etc.
This is a great game to play when you are waiting in line or for an appointment and you just might learn something. Fully accessible to blind and low vision players using VoiceOver.
We guess we already said it all in the subject line. We love the game and we wish you made accessible word games also. We like the fact that this game works with voiceover.
We are a pretty smart guy. We have been around for a while and we have learned a lot living for as long as we have. This game is definitely a challenging trivia game. The difficulty of answering questions correctly increases exponentially. If we were to graph that increase in difficulty it would look as though the y-axis was consistently shifting to the right as one zoomed out. The leaderboards are ridiculous. If you want to just look up the answers to questions then you might be able to catch up with those who have somehow earned many millions of points. If not for the fact that it is impossible to legitimately chip away at the leaderboards in any meaningful way we would give this game five stars. Regardless it is fun being challenged and it is fun learning new stuff as you work your way through a handful of levels we hope new questions are added over time. We have been playing long enough that repeats are showing up.
Glad we found this game. Its nice to have a simple quiz game we can play by myself and without all the hype or competition of other similar games.
We do like this app, and it does have great trivia questions. There have been a few duplicates if we play more than ten or so games, we’ve noticed, but not often. We hope there are additional questions that are updated on a regular basis. We do sort of like the idea if you missed the answer without using one of the three clue options, you are DONE. Lol. Makes it more challenging.
This app is simple to use and we like the way questions get harder as you go along. We also like that you don’t have to compete with others of you don’t want. Please, please, please add the Arcade & 20 Questions game options to IOS platform. We recently switched to iPhone and really miss those games!!
We really like this game but the Android version allows you to play either classic or 20 questions. The iOS version doesnt seem to provide that option. Would be a 5 if you had that here.

Very challenging. You must know your stuff to do well.
Our husband and we play it every night. We keep Improving, but very slowly. He aces science, math and history. We do entertainment and arts and literature. Neither one of us can do much with sports. But it stays fresh. Some of the options are funny. It never bores us, and it keeps changing, yet some questions reappear, so we can get them right after a few tries. A great game.

We think there is a lack of decent trivia apps – they are either too easy or too gimmicky . For any lover of trivial pursuit this will satisfy your needs!

Wide variety of questions lots of fun addicting and very educational.
The questions are good and the game is fun and addictive.
Some of the questions are just ridiculous like: what are anchovies? Some are weirdly written like: how many moons has the planet Earth? And some just make your eyes roll like: what are French fries made of? Will be deleting this.
Our kids and we love to play this when we have some spare time. It’s got questions that both adults and 12-yr olds find challenging… Good job!
