Just a really fun game, one of the best tower defense Ive played on our phone. Its a great game to come back to after not playing for awhile.
Just reached diamond in tournament, and almost done with campaign. Took us a bit over a year with no money spent (sorry, realm defense), so its definitely not a pay to win game. You can tell the devs have put a lot of love into this project. Im 31 and great up on flash tower defense games like balloon tower defense, flash elements, etc., and this is the kind of game we use to dream of being able to play on a handheld when we were a kid. Love the hero aspect of the game. The slow pace has made it feel like a real journey, too. Kind of sad now that ive almost beaten it. Just taking our time enjoying the game. Do yourself a favor and download this game if you love tower defense games.
Just what the title says. No crazy graphics, but fun gameplay. We also like that they switch out the towers every new world.

We love this game but our issue is you can cruise through first 5 worlds easily less than a 2 weeks if you play regularly. Its not a pay to play game but the rewards are practically insanely small if you dont pay plus we maxed out one of our heroes but it took almost a year when we practically finished the game in a month. But be aware that the last 2 Worlds are extremely tough and frustrating even you have high level heroes but still challenging and fun.

Really fun and interactive tower defense game. They definitely try to make it pay to progress quicker style. But its playable without paying which is nice, just have to grind a little bit more.
One of our favorite TD games of all time. Also you can play several world maps (~hundred hours) without paying a dime.
It is fairly good for a good while but there appears to be a pay-to-win type situation at about level 72, which admittedly is fairly far into the game. After this point one has to buy some heroes, buy some tokens, or whatever to win. With that mentioned, they, the developers, need to make money somehow so theres some balance between free-to-play and pay to win on these mobile games, Im to understand. Theyre giving away a good product and need to make profit for their hustle and time spent.

It's really just budget Kingdom Rush, but not bad for it.
The wheel has to be rigged because it doesnt land on event prizes which forces you to buy event items to participate. Worthless POS.

Love the progression and the many worlds, units, heroes and towers types! Ads are solely in as-reward quality at your own discretion as well. Art wise there's also lot of cool animations and little environment details (just keep to yourself that some you can even take advantage of… ) Hey, there's even multiplayer challenges! Sweet.

If you want free to play then it will take you verrrrrrrry long to get to end game like about 3 years. But new updates constantly putting up more barriers for free to play players. Its fun for first few maps then a wall comes down pay or you stuck.

4**** because RD stills needs some improvement. Keys for Awakening and materials to forge them are way too rare for instance.
The best to pass the time. Levels get increasingly challenging, perfect to stimulate the brain.

Great game loved it but overpriced and less rewards.
Only issue is some levels can be quite difficult which isnt bad but leveling up is slow. All in all though its very fun and cant wait for more additions.

After the second world there is a paywall, but getting around it through game play is not nearly as tedious as 9 out of 10 games so for being better than most, 5 stars.

Realm defense is a great game. Spent a few dollars to get some characters, but the awakening process for the characters is such a long process. We just wish that it was a little more simpler.
Game is what you expect its designed to get u to pay but its playable without and still fun.
We'll try to keep this as short as possible. Upon finding this game we were in absolute awe, from the characters and their designs to the seemingly endless content portrayed throughout the game. But like all great things they come to an end. Evidently, completing World 3 wasn't a hassle and arguably one of the most enjoyable tower defense systems we've come across. Most tower defense games retain this oppressive money-hungry approach and are bound to litter their games with microtransactions and unobtainable quests that disregard F2P players. Almost impossible to finish certain levels or even compete in tournaments to actually earn substantive gem quantities. If you don't spend money you can't level up your heroes, can't regularly participate in any and all events. Even after finishing both legendary as well as tower-only mode we still struggle with the power difference between pay-to-win players. We're disgusted with that fact, been playing the game for about a year now with nothing to show for it besides a few heroes and countless hours wasted. We hope in the future an update will be released so F2P players can just progress throughout the campaign with no need to put new worlds behind paywalls, or as we mentioned earlier unobtainable quests that serve no purpose.
Game is absolutely amazing, everything you love about tower defense. But you get engulfed in it, then youre about to get to world 3 but you cant. It says you need to spend 50 tournament tokens to unlock it. So Im like okay how hard can that be? Well its only possible to make 20 tournament tokens every week and thats if youre first in your league. On top of that, the cheapest item in the tournament shop is actually 400 tokens. So in actuality you need 400 tokens not 50. Turns out its incredibly difficult to unlock world 3. About half a year in fact just to unlock world 3. PLEASE IF THE DEVELOPERS TAKE ANYTHING FROM THIS REVIEW ITS TO MAKE UNLOCKING THE WORLDS A LOT EASIER. NO ONE IS GOING TO GRIND FOR HALF A YEAR JUST TO UNLOCK THE 3RD WORLD.
