Two small improvements, please: controls are too sensitive playing HOPs, and two, please make the refresh rate faster – 5 seconds instead of 10 seconds. The HOPs get more inventive when progressing through the game. Long-playing, spooky graphics, responsive Hint button. We didnt want the game to end!

We loved this game so much we payed it 3 times. Well worth the money.

Like bonus games this has a long bonus.

We are have not completed the game as of yet. We just play for about an hour at a time to savor it. We are really enjoying it. Challenging puzzles. There were a couple that we had to "skip" because we just couldn’t solve them and was taking up too much time trying. The HOGs are fun because there are some things you have to create to get the object. More challenging that way. Good soundtrack. There is a map to go from place to place quickly. When an area is completed, there is a checkmark so you know there is nothing left to do there. We recommend this game.

We’re so happy we got this game. Just finished Redemption Cemetery: Night Terrors and didn’t enjoy that. This game is so much better, IMO.

We really enjoyed this one. It was dark and fun- more straightforward just the way we like it.

Really fun game with lots of scary clowns and monsters. Don’t play in the dark!

Loved this game. Nice story line and long playing time. Great bonus chapter.

Having fun with this. The HOP rating is a cool addition.

Just finished this great game. It was fun and very interesting. Even though there were no morphing objects we find it still hold on its own. Made us focus more on the task at hand. Worth downloading and playing trial version. We read a few reviews, personally we understand if there are a few glitches. Unless its really bad we usually will not ding a game. Understand that we all have different ipads versions and to get the best graphic or sound may cause a few lags or anomolies, here and there. BF we appreciate all the games as we are amazed we still get two games a week knowing how hard everyone works at creating these… We imagine 2+ years to create one single game! Keep up the good work!

Im a huge fan of the redemption cemetery genre. And we have played just about everyone. We never got to play the first one in the series and we seriously regret it. Because we thought that it would be completely boring. But what we would like to know is will there be any new ones for the people that play on iPad instead of Mac and pc. We have been waiting for years checking every day looking for any newer ones. We just gave up on waiting because we realized that it will never happen.

The three nationalities… None of the combos worked. Map on wrong side. Items in list are very very small: hard to read the numbers. Im only part way through, soooo…

Yeah, the writing is small. So far Im enjoying playing. Im giving it 4 stars for entertainment. Side note to a couple of game critics… We used to respect your reviews but youve became so critical, if the we are not dotted and ts crossed, you give poor reviews. Plus you show preference/fan boys to some crappy developers… We no longer listen to you two. Heh!

Note to Catalina: we dont know if you were referring to us, but we will always pick apart a game to let others know what to expect, good or bad. Please remember that gaming is subjective, and although we might enjoy a game we will not automatically rate it 5 stars if we encounter any glitches or technical difficulties. We wasnt trying to offend anyone by our review in the last game, and we felt much like KimTwilight expressed to you. We are dependent on BigFish and we consistently purchase their games, so when we encounter fatal flaws/glitches/poor quality assurance its extremely frustrating, and some of us encounter problems and want to let others know. We wish we knew why some players experience issues and some do not! In any case we wanted to share our perspective with you. Note to K-Rano: Nobody is forcing you to read our reviews. We rate very fairly and do not show favoritism towards any particular developer. If you really thought that you could cause issues between us, KimTwilight and Catalina, your thought processes were extremely skewed. We respect both of these gamers as excellent reviewers as well as wonderful people. You, on the other hand, do not even use proper vocabulary, grammar or spelling. Did you really think that we would take you seriously? If you want to be a bully, be our guest! You should take the time to write an actual review instead of complaining about our reviews. Remember, we eat bullies up and spit them back out, and then they slink away. Find something better to do with your time than to criticize the skills of exceptional reviewers. We wont have anything further to say on this topic. Our review will mirror KimTwilights. We wasnt excited with another installment but this game was actually quite good. You could customize your settings. The storyline was interesting and easy to follow. Tasks were regularly updated. The graphics were terrific. This new group (Amax) will hopefully read our reviews and try to fix any issues. Collectibles were skull tokens which you may then use to refute myths on the skull cards. There was a marked teleport map which provided slightly delayed transportation between locations. We had a bit of trouble accessing the map and had to tap several times. Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. The HO scenes had some variety but were revisited, which we dont love but at least they werent overly numerous. There was a plethora of interesting tasks at each location. The puzzles/games were a bit simplistic but nevertheless enjoyable to do. At least in this installment we did not find that we kept back tapping to a prior location. With the bonus adventure we felt the game was a proper length, at least for the sale price. We are deducting a star for the following reasons: we felt that there was a slight lack of quality assurance, as in the issue with the map. There was a bit of touch screen sensitivity and we doubt its our new tablet. We dont even have a screen protector yet. In addition, items in the inventory bar were so small that we forgot what some of them were, but at least they were labeled. Our review will remain at 4 stars, which is a rare rating from us for this series and this developer. But hopefully things will change and we look forward to the day we can rate one of their offerings 5 stars! Note to all gamers: remember we have a third game this week, and its Chronicles of Magic by Artifex Mundi. Its pricey but we love their games; we usually rate them between 4 and 5 stars. Next month we should be getting a game from Five BN Uk, the next installment in the Legacy series and we know that will be enjoyable. Happy gaming to all!

One of the better games we have enjoyed playing. Bit gruesome but well done.

ATTN: Artifex Mundi released "Chronicles of Magic: Divided Kingdom," which is on sale now for $5.99, a 15 percent discount off of the regular purchase price. Well, this game sure sneaked in, taking us by surprise. Upon first glance, we were less than thrilled that it was another Redemption Cemetery game. We were grumbling to myself, "Not another dull, glitchy, and antiquated piece of garbage from a developer whose games we swore we would never play again!" But out of sheer boredom and an utmost urge to play a hidden-object game, we succumbed to our desires and gave the free trial a spin. Even though this game is unspectacular, "redemption" suits this latest installment, as some of the negative qualities that tarnished the last few games in this series have eroded away. The plots in this series mirror each other across the board, including this one; so any hopes of originality will have to wait. However, this storyline is presented in a much more interesting way than its predecessors. The production is effectively rendered, with spooky animations sprinkled throughout, as well as jitter-inducing background noises. The graphics are fairly clear one of the better traits of this developer. The usual components are there: custom mode; teleport map, with action available, if applicable; and labeled inventory. One of the greater quibbles we have with this game is the revisiting of HOSs an unwarranted leap back to the Stone Age. However, the formats alter when revisited. They are heavily story-driven, but there are other interactive types as well. The puzzles are not challenging, ranging from easy to medium difficulty. But they are integrated into the storyline, and they are highly entertaining. You only collect scattered coins around certain scenes. The text of the reading materials such as the dialogue is very small, causing us to slightly strain our eyes. Furthermore, there is a slight delay when traveling between scenes. But overall, this game is technically sound, free of glitches. We are having fun playing it, so we do suggest you give the free trial a spin. Note to Catalina5: we have to say that as a fellow reviewer who has been submitting reviews on BF’s games for years, we were quite perplexed by some of your remarks in the last review. We hope you are not offended by our response; we just hope you see a viewpoint from a different perspective. In your last review, you commented "I really hope that all the fellow gamers will stop with so much complaining about the games. Opinions are good however no one needs to pick the games to pieces. After all each developer has their own style and we are sure creating these games isn’t easy." Even though you did not directly address individual players, we still felt slighted being one of those "fellow reviewers" by these remarks. Here is why: First of all, we need to take into account the variables that will affect a player’s rating. Some of us experience unfortunate technical issues, thus rendering the game unplayable. Others might favor particular components, such as hidden-object scenes (HOSs), and only play these games because of those particular components. But then after the unlock of the game, they are met with dissatisfaction because the HOSs lack variety or creativity. We dissect each game to reflect both of the positive and negative aspects to offer players a broader perspective of varying criterion so they can make a justifiable decision as to whether or not they will purchase a game. Once bought, a player is stuck with it; they can’t take that purchase back, even if they ended up not liking it. I, as well as other players who have expressed criticism, am tired of shelling out hard-earned money, which then gets stuffed right into the pockets of a casual-gaming company whose games have been steadily declining in quality over the last few years. BFG, the leading distributor of the hidden-object genre, is currently the only company that affords a player the opportunity to consistently play two games per week, thus making players highly dependent upon BF for their main source of entertainment within said genre. The reason why we continue to purchase BF’s games is because other independent developers infrequently release games. These games eat up a considerable portion of our daily life. We want to express our thoughts, and other players should also express their thoughts whether it’s positive or negative about any aspect in a game. Silence indicates acceptance; therefore, we cannot ignore our right to "pick the games to pieces." Finally, we’re sure that creating games isn’t easy. However, properly testing these games before release to avoid putting out substandard games that contain glitches should be the standard practice a company’s modus operandi. We don’t see players complaining about styles. Even though we do prefer particular themes over others, we’re still content with any style as long as the components that make up a game integrate cohesively to form a successful all-around package. We’re to enjoy them, but that depends on what each player’s tastes are and what a game has to offer, which can change after a game has been purchased. Nobody should be under the impression that players should give accolades to games more than they deserve, especially when their enjoyment becomes obliterated by a multitude of technical flaws, as well as by other unfavorable reasons, resulting in a jaded feeling that the game fell short of their expectations. And players have a right to express their opinions, even if it means getting into specific details.

We enjoyed this game with one major exception. The touch control is terrible. Decent length and an entertaining bonus chapter.

If it was cheaper it might be worth purchasing but not worth $6.99 now.

So far we like the game and the story. The only problem for us is the print in the inventory is so small we need a magnifying glass to read.

The very small type of the diections and HPOs detract from the overall game experience.

We have been off BF games for a year or two but glad we tried the intro to this one. It has interesting and unique puzzles at first and isnt brain-dead easy. There is a minimal level of challenge. The script is way too small as others have said. Just found a glitch. We cant progress into the amusement park because the broken glass Im supposed to tap on doesnt work. We consulted a walkthrough too. Hint leads to incorrect spot. We finally got it but the glitch remains. Is it worth full price of $6.99? No way.

Im playing on a 12.9 inch iPad and have to squint to make out what inventory items are. And the hop items are to small.

Hell, we barely recommend playing it on your ipad. We have an ipad 4, and everything on the screen is so freaking SMALL. The white lettering is barely legible as well. Too bad, because so far the game seems interesting. It is just frustratingly difficult to see and read most things.

This game was so boring we had forgotten we started out at the cemetery. We couldnt even force myself to go on. Regret buying even at sell price. Why we gave it a 2 Star is we respect their effort in creating the game.

Confusing dark…. Only played 10minutes and quit…. Not worth the money even at 40% off.

We don’t get the game, we get a forum on the game. Glad we didn’t buy it sight unseen.
