A Glimpse into ReFactory: Factory Simulator

Welcome to ReFactory!

This is a sandbox strategy game where you have to build an automated factory on an alien planet. This is an amazing world that will work according to your laws. That story begins in space.

Play the first mission for free! A single purchase unlocks the full game with all the ingame missions and Custom game options.

The navigation system was destroyed and the spacecraft crashed. The crew is scattered throughout the territory of the alien planet, most of the equipment is damaged. You play as a ship’s artificial intelligence. Your task is to build a city and recover resources to find a team and return to your home planet.

BUILD AND AUTOMATE FACTORIES. Create more complex inventions and buildings: they will give you a lot of possibilities. Copper ore can be used to make wire, then make an electrically conductive cable, and then an assembly machine. So keep progressing.

MINING. Look for copper and iron ore, timber and crystals, granite and oil. You have to build installations, conduct electricity, improve the performance of systems. With each step you will pump the city and create improved materials.

DEVELOP TECHNOLOGIES. Move from simple technologies to microelectronics, chemical reactions, creation of explosive substances. Build a factory or a whole network of factories. More technologies — more opportunities and chances to find the ship’s crew.

EXPLORE NEW LANDS. Gradually, you will open up more territories for the construction of new factories. No doubt your city’s growth will attract unwanted guests, but what can’t you do to save the crew?

DEFEND THE CITY FROM ALIEN INVADERS. Fight with them on your own and develop the reflection of attacks. Building solid walls is just the beginning of the journey. Create mines and powerful cannons, fight with chemical weapons and armoring drones.

CONSIDER YOUR ONLINE STRATEGY. ReFactory is not just about building production sites. This is a world that lives by your rules and develops in proportion to your mistakes. Wrong resources distribution will halt the development of the city, and outdated technologies will not repel an attack. Think a few steps ahead and keep the factory safe.

Consider a number of factors to design interaction processes: electricity conduction, copper recycling, economic strategy … New information is introduced gradually, so that soon you will begin to navigate intuitively.

ReFactory main features:

  • There is no manual labor in the game: everything is automated, drones work for you.
  • Depending on the mode, the player is assisted by a digital assistant, but if you understand the gameplay, start building a city without it.
  • Choose the type of land, the degree of danger of the planet and the amount of resources. If you are not interested in repelling attacks, remove the appearance of monsters in the settings and solve engineering problems.
-Play puzzles when you’re comfortable: develop infrastructure without using conveyors or in tight spaces.
  • But here you do not need to "drive" the rendered character across the screen — you are watching the process from above.

It doesn’t matter how good you are at strategy: start with the easy level and gradually progress to the hard! On the subway, on the way to work or at lunchtime — build a city and enjoy the game. All you need is a phone for you to develop strategic skills, develop multitasking and enjoy it.

We will wait for feedback, improve the game and release updates.

Your ReFactory Team
for your technological city.

Loved it on computer love it here wish there was an avatar to fight the aliens with like computer version.

Great visuals. Efficient battery usage. Challenging. Mostly smooth building mechanics. Placing sprinklers is unfortunately tedious and hampers pace of the game for us. Snaking belts and underground bypasses through the foliage is trial and error ending up in building and dismantling repeatedly. Theres no way to know if a tile is blocked until you attempt to place a belt on an adjoining tile. We usually just give up on decent coverage and hope we can progress before the resource is depleted. Cheers!

Player beware you get to play 2 missions and then it’s $3.99 to play the other 2 missions and you unlock custom game. Which the 2 free missions you do get to play last long enough for you to get a feel for the game and see what the game really is about. The game gets a feel for a factorio like playstyle but everything is built by drones you set up the plans for building and they deliver the resources where its need. It’s got a hint of creeper world as in it’s got the goop that will eat anything it touches. Pros -The 2 levels are pretty long (and even longer if you don’t manage your resources correctly) -Theres a lot to research and expand on with seemingly endless worlds -Your miners can run out of material to collect meaning you have to expand for more reaources -its a good sit down strategy game alone with puzzle levels which are super tricky -When enemies attack the building explode violently damaging the creatures attacking it meaning your building can be sacrificed Cons -You will have to spend $3.99 to continue the campaign and even play custom games -The energy consumption is a bit awkward as even if a building isn’t doing anything it still consumes quite a bit of power -The guns you build shoot really slow and deal very minimal damage at stage 1 but as you upgrade them they do more damage. -The other downside to the guns is they consume a lot of power even when they are not shooting making it almost not worth building them and just repairing the broken structures Overall we loved the game we would recommend it if your looking for a factorio like game just keep in mind power is a bit awkward so don’t get too discouraged and press on.

Love this game! The story is great. Concept is what Im looking for in a factory builder game. The only issue we have is that it goes too fast. The story and problems and attacks happen too quickly to enjoy the game flow sometimes. Its like a race to build it but not enough time to actually design it and make it flow.

Needs better balancing to stop the constant attacks.

They did it, mobile factorio. Not even kidding, give it at least a shot, Im a ways in and still expecting a catch but there is none. No waiting hours for things to do or anything, just like factorio. A bit simpler too because you control drones instead of a character but holy crap is it a good game.

Really great game. We just finished the 4th campaign mission and am hoping the devs release more soon. Shockingly, this game does not burn through our battery like other similar games – good job coding this one! Overall good value, many hours can easily be spent here.

Its an all around great game, we played it for a bit and found it very enjoyable to play. Overall we loved it however we didnt appreciate the fact that in order to play a custom world, you must pay for it. Same goes for the second, third, and fourth missions. We do understand that this game probably isnt in its final version and these things will (probably) change but to be advertised as a free game on the App Store only to find out after you downloaded it that you only get a small portion of the actual game and that for the full thing you have to pay isnt right info our opinion. Now if it was disclosed BEFORE the app is downloaded such as in its description that you only get a small part of the game and that you must make an in game purchase for the full thing then Ill eat crow. ( for those of you that are unfamiliar with the phrase, it means Ill admit Im wrong).

We have played this game for only an hour cuz our parents have a stupid time limit thing, but we already love it. The graphics are at the perfect level, and so far, the gameplay is very interesting. Now what really sets this game apart from others like builderment is how you approach your tutorial. What you guys have done is incredible, you have fitted the tutorial so nicely into the campaign and storyline that we almost forget its a tutorial. The UIs are intuitive and easy to navigate. We havent gone too far, but Im very excited to see what is in store. All in all, great game, and we wish that you guys continue to create more games like this.

We have been looking a great alternative to Mindustry as well as Factorial. This rates as good as those offerings and better in many cases. It can be relaxing if you stay off of all latest mission tasks. If you meet tasks as fast as possible, it turns into a race you may enjoy, but tricky to win. We cant say how few games have the quality we see so far. We think its our favorite so far as we cannot stop playing now. Simple enough for iOS interface, but has just the right amount of depth, for us anyway.

Great game. We have only played the first campaign and then spent 10 hours on a custom world and love it! Im not sure if Im missing something but it is very hard for our base to not turn into a spaghetti mess of conveyor belts. We would love there to be requestor chest where the bots fill the chests with what you need. Then a bus line system will be more achievable late game. Also, we feel like the turrets need to be buffed. Either with range or damage or reduce the amount of power they take so we can build more of them. Same with the air defense, maybe buff the range or reduce power. We havent been able to experiment with walls much, but if we block off an area from a pond to a hill, will the enemies go around it to the next open area, or will the attack the wall and go through? Im finding it hard to protect large areas of our expanding base.

People just dont understand real simulator.

The game just goes to a black screen after flashing the blue loading screen. It says around 85-95% then goes black, makes no sound, and nothing else happens. Any help? We’ve tried re-installing. Running an iPhone XSMax.

We are in the second area (paid $4 for the expansion) but every time we complete an area both goop and monsters destroy it. The developers need to do a better job of balancing resources vs enemies. Dont waste your money on the expansion pack.

We love this game Similar to Factorio game on PC.

Full game is locked behind a paywall, uninstalled.

Love it. Hope theres lots of development ahead. We hope this becomes better than factorio. Big problem is that we’ve spent like 30 hours on the 66% campaign mission with the spaceport and cant see completing it. The monsters are too plentiful, too strong, attack way too often, railguns are a joke, the resources are way too few and very sparse on the map, also wind turbines are very expensive for the small power they give. Id love to see a clearer interface for research. We have very high hopes for this game and wouldnt mind IAP for permanent unlocks; we really hope the devs dont disappoint.

We dont usually play a lot of games on our phone due to the lack of well quality games on the app store, upon our discovery of this game though we just fell in love, its addicting, a simple yet also confusing puzzle and factory game that keeps us entangled and on our feet trying to keep up with the ever increasing hordes of aggressive mutants and other interesting fauna and flora. The only real issue we have with the game is that its not really possible to refill the lakes and ponds and also we kinda wish the developers did more with space, we would love to see more done in space like maybe a new planet to go to as like maybe an end game thing or just to start a new colony on it with new creatures and plants, we would like to see paint jobs to for the protection droids and regular builder droids, would be pretty funny to see a bright pink circle running around the map to keep up with our increasing building activities. But the main issue we have is currently just space, the satellites are cool but they kinda out live their usefulness. If the devs read this please consider space colonization and also hi.

This scratches the itch to have something like Factorio on mobile very well, the developers hear the community and are constantly evolving this game, we really enjoy it!

This is a factory game, but a bit different in how the mechanics work, but its still refreshing. We are not even close to all the way through the game, but we had to hop on here and give these devs their props. Thanks! – Full tech tree – custom savable games – map editors – puzzle mode – SO MUCH MORE!

Been looking for a game like Factorio but was disappointed with the other factory games on the App Store. Until we ran across this game, and our spirit was lifted! Now we can be efficient on the go!

Already the first hour we started playing we were engaged. We just love the also tower defense vibe we get off the game.

We love this game so much we bought the extension and it is Defenatly worth it we love this game so much.

Difficult to make progress as it crashes every few minutes and resets back to the previous save.

If this is still being improved, great. Very few games like this.

How do you buy the extra missions pack? But other than that its great.

Got stuck on level one. Cant build any more structure before we need building slabs but we need to rebuild the digger and we need 50 building slabs when we have no stockpile of them. The digger provides the slabs. We have an abundance of slabs on the ground surrounding our base but the drones dont do anything with it. And we cant research filters because we need steel plates which requires carbon blocks and we cant build another sawmill because it requires, you guessed it, more slabs.

Really loving this game and want to unlock it but we cant. When attempting to purchase Im asked to verify our payment method and that UI loads in landscape without a keyboard and buttons arent tappable.

Love the game. Controls are smooth considering im playing on a phone. Really fun addictive play if youre into this type of game. We cannot pay or download the extra content. Run into the same error every time. Even tried reinstalling the game and all that did was delete our progress and not fix the issue! We want to play more but the game wont let us. Im sad.

The first few missions were ok, but we couldnt purchase the extra mission pack because it kept saying purchase failed even though we had internet if we could get help then we would bump this to 5 stars.

We try to pay for it and get an error .

Free version. Clunky and not so user friendly. To many times have to delete what we built due to built in the wrong spot. And not free world at all. Super directed. No idea how the non free version works but. From what we did get done, not gonna pay for this one.

Paid for game and it worked fine for 3-4 days. Now it crashes every time we start the app. It puts up the developers splash screen then immediately bombs out. Changed nothing on our Ipad pro the app just stopped working.

When we launch the game we get a black screen we’ve tried just about everything we can think of to try and fix it but its still not working. This could be a problem on our end but all our other games are fine.

Our Game does not work after loading it goes on a black screen and does not load any further and we have checked its not a problem with our device other things works just fine we have waited on the blank screen for 10+ minutes we hope this gets fixed as we want to play this game.

Crashes on iOS 16.0 and sometimes doesnt open at all.

IPhone XS with latest iOS update but it black screens after the loading screen what a shame.

Nah chief at least price on the App Store.

Been a year and no updates :( keeps crashing.

Very fun game but it will not let us purchase the extra levels.

We really enjoyed this game. Best game to play on long plane rides where theres no internet. We wouldnt hesitate to pay for the additional levels but unfortunately it wont let us. Hope the developer comes back and fixed this.

This is awesome. Just what we’ve been craving!

Im sure the 99c price tag is going to hurt this game compared to its competitor, Builderment, but its a much more fully featured factorio clone. We’ve spent many hours on it already and its so refreshing how much they get right.

This might be better than the game it is based on. Movement is more like a god game and drones do a lot of the building for you. Conveyors only have one lane which seems fine. We’ve only played a portion of the campaign but this is becoming one of our favorite games on the iPad. Good job developers!
