We’ve played through this game several times really enjoy it. But have reached a glitch Outer Crust spawns 2 waves of baddies and then nothing we’ve triggered the floor tiles waited repeatedly until our phone times out. Retried with different spells equipped etc, replayed other levels Im just always stick after 2 waves. Needs and Im stuck function or something.

The stage outer crust does not spawn all monsters, the furthest we can get is the barfing guys before the monsters stop coming. Game is good other than that.

The floor glyphs on Outer Crust dont stay lit. We cant get past this level and we bought all your in app purchases to support you :(

Does this game end at the blood lava? We kill everything but nothing hallens.

We like this game a lot, but the outer crust is impossible because the glyphs wont light up.

The game uses a really odd control wheel that just doesnt work well. It feels like you cant actually choose the direction you want to go, as trying to move is so incredibly odd and more often just assigns a near random direction. This makes the game just feel frustrating as your character slams into an enemy (and instantly dies) because the controls just barely work. It doesnt even show you what orientation your thumb stick style control is, so it just becomes awful. It could easily be 4-5 stars if the control was better, but it just isnt.

We love the game but on the outer crust mission it suddenly stops sending enemies and you just sit there. We cannot progress due to this bug.

This game is broken. Outer crust mission glitched and wont complete. Tried many things. No dice. Seems from other reviews that even buying all the IAPs wont help. Shame. And we dont see any responses from the developer. We think this app should be removed from the store till it is fixed. If you paid for this and the mission is glitched – we suggest asking apple for your money back.

Gameplay is legitimately fun, but a quest early on titled Outer Crust is broken and stops spawning enemies so you cant progress. There seems to be no apparent fix for this online either, so we spent $4 on a game that is basically worthless. Great.

Outer Crust Level needs fix otherwise 5 stars. Level stops spawning after second or third wave. Unable to continue or finish. Please fix.

We were surprised to see the game was only about 3 or 4 dollars, and its a real fun game, one where you die a lot but are totally fine with it cuz you can come back and try out different skills and see what works best. We honestly bought it immediately, considering how awesome the graphics are and how smooth everything runs. The story was good, but the gameplay was better.

Fun, would love to see a sandbox mode or some way to test out all available spells without excessive grinding.

This game is awesome. Similar to other hexage roll playing games like Reaper or Redcon, it is very captivating once you get the hang of what youre supposed to do.

Just when we had to buy the whole game kinda killed our whole mood but ish alright.

IM happy that the team that made reaper one OF our childhood games made another game Thank you.

So confused because this is so polished and fluid. Also the writing is pretty funny at times. We like that the skill tree isnt too hard to keep track of. We mean we wish there wasnt a paywall to get the full game but we understand now because this is a small launch.

Cant figure out the controls on iPhone or Apple TV. When we do tap, unsure what -if anything- happens. Unclear what we should be trying to do -or when to tap where… Graphics are great though! Wish we could understand it.

Even by the standards of the thousands of other games that play themselves, this is just a bad experience. Visuals are nice but beyond that, this is a waste of your time.

Hooribele game doiesent even give a premiom experinec!

Plenty of action. Can tell it was made with love. Makes us wonder about the slaughter.

Overall the gameplay is excellent and very interesting, and the storyline is surprisingly good. However, the gameplay is extremely limited and we feel like you should add more features in the future such as multiplayer which could definitely work if you were able to implement it correctly.

Watching simulation game. You watch your simulation play.

Beautiful style, amazing soundtrack, great game mechanics with a lot of variety on how you wish to play. Ultimately for us it was the story. Its strange to think of an angel as a harbinger of chaos and death that wants to slaughter gods but thats the Angel whos trapped in you. When we have the money we want to buy the full game to find out what happens next. No one of the two mobile games Ill ever put actual money into.

The description says The beginning is free that should tell you, you will be paying something. The description says The game plays itself so yeah, its obviously not a strategic action game. Stop bashing it. Read the DESCRIPTION first. If its not for you, dont play. It has good graphics, you swipe once your character bounces around the map if you run into an enemy he fights it, you tap every now and again to use a spell. If your into casual games you might like it. We didnt play much so thats just the demo/beginning, could get better.

Hexage has done it again. Beautiful soundtrack, clever gameplay, and incredible art. In particular, the main character has a really awesome design. For the game, it does play itself but it does require attention and strategy for using spells/skills or you’ll lose quickly. We hope this app gets updated with some more content in the future (new characters or bosses??). We’ll gladly pay. This is Hexage’s best game since Reaper. Our only gripe is that it seems that "teleport" is MANDATORY for all battles. If you don’t have it, you can’t dodge any attacks and have to eat them head on (health is so little that this is not a good idea). We think that’s an oversight and teleport should be permanently added as a third skill. Because of this, we can only equip one other offensive skill. Hopefully this can be addressed in the future. Keep up the great work! We’re not sure what the difference is with the creator edition upgrade but after waiting so many years for one quality game, we can give them $10+ for their hard work.

We are a big fan of games like this one and the concept is good while the gameplay seems to be more of a timing and strategy based one. We like the gameplay however we wish that you had a little more control over the movement of your angel and maybe be able to redirect him only after a timer has been reset to zero. We think this would provide a better way for the player to keep the gameplay from being monotonous.

Visuals are nice too has potential id vote 3.4/5.

A lot of reviews here write how you in effect just watch. Thats sort-of true. In effect, this is high-concept pinball. You set your character bouncing around the play field, and you have a limited set of effects to employ to keep them bouncing – think flippers Its not for everyone, but its not a screensaver or whatever. Its got great graphics and sound. Its just … This isnt the game you think it is.

You start to really enjoy the game for what it is. Beautiful visuals, relaxing soundtrack, it becomes fun and you keep wanting to play…. But then, you get hit with that its only a demo and it costs $6 to unlock the full feature. Maybe $1 to watch it do its own thing and overly smash on the Meteor power to destroy everything while its in fast forward mode, but not $6. It was fun.

Theres no disclaimer that the premium edition needs to be purchased to play the actual game. The first few levels are fun enough and its beautiful but we would have appreciated some more transparency. We wont be making the purchase.

At first it was a good game, but then after 2 levels you cant beat it unless your the best. FIX YOUR GAME!

Its nothing but a demo. Once u get to stage 7 you have to pay to continue playing. Its a cute little game but way too simple of a game to be charging and so much for it. Calling it free just to find out its nothing but a demo is an insult.

We honestly really enjoyed this game when we first played it. Simple concept, great graph style, and a great way to waste some time on our phone. But after 10 ish levels, you have to $6 for the whole game. We really liked this game and we wouldn’t mind paying a little bit ($1-3) for the whole game but we just can’t do $6. Would love to change this review to 5 stars if the game was cheaper!

… But theres not much here. Hardly a game. Pointless.

We felt like a vegetable playing this game. The game is beautiful, and yet so, so boring. Did they play the game before releasing it? Is this a game or an iphone screensaver?

SO BORING we CANT PUT IT INTO WORDS.

We agree with others in saying that this is just like watching a screensaver. The graphics are good but to call it a game is a joke. We also hate when dumb games like this gets released and instantly have fake developer reviews saying its the best thing ever, those reviews are so obviously fake and everyone can tell. Anyways this is a waste of time, if you prefer a yawn or want to drift asleep, go right on ahead and try this out.
