Community Insight:

First of all, this is a very great translation from board to game format. Despite this we have a huge where the screen suddenly moves from sideway view to upright and back witch is very disorienting. We would love it if you wold fix this bug. Thank you.

A cool conversion of Roll for It IRL! Fun way to play when you want to play but no one else is around. Thx :).

Super fun! Well worth the $2! We also bought the All Dice pack and that was worth the additional $4 bucks! Great for killing time/traveling.

Only wish more people would play it online and the actual game. We waited for 2 years for the actual game to come out and it is incredible.

Fun game! We will buy the pack because we want the extra cards. If we pay money for a game then we want it to be updated with new stuff and not once every 2 years until its abandoned. Thanks.

We love this company. We have the board game at home besides this app. We play every day, it could be we love to throw dies, we dont get it. We also have their other games. Best game, fun playing, best company. Now if they will do an app for the Oculus GO, we will be in haven.

Ive been looking for a fun dice game, and Im so glad we found this! Super easy to learn and play. Just deep enough to be lightly challenging, but light enough to be deeply fun. Very fair monetization too, the IAPs are simply for more dice or deck options. Design is awesome, just like it it with Tsuro. Btw you dont have to shake to roll; you can set it to tap or swipe to roll, much better for accessibility. Ive tried different dice games, and this one is the only one Ive found to be balanced well. Great job, developers.

Super fun & addictive game & the AR is Amazing.

Fun game. Easy to play. Great for killing some time. The options screen is very confusing. Have no idea what a button does. Trial and error. We want to turn off some features to speed up the game play. We dont like all of the buttons and icons popping up and sliding in, just let us roll and play. Over all we would recommend the game.

This game is perfect for us and just what we were looking for. Very simple and easy to understand so it doesnt take long at all to jump right in and have fun. There have been a lot of bugs we been running into lately but the Devs. Been working with us though them all and we have been really helpful. Even though this game you have to pay in order to play it is worth it.

This is a really fun game but we wish it had statistics like win loss, high score, etc. Love playing this game.

Love the dice game and this perfectly replicated it as an app! Its only drawback is that its friendly to a fault. By trying to be more interactive, it tries to reinvent the wheel, which slows play down between games. But it works fluidly and is so much fun.

5 year old loves to play this with us. We play against the 'bad' guys (computer). He likes it when the Troll AI laughs at us. He giggles every time. There is a small bug though. If you recall your dice and roll before they are all off the screen, you lose those dice on that roll. This is pretty minor though you just need to wait for the animation to finish. We just need to get that 5 year old to learn to wait. :).

Our kids and we love this game, but no matter which device we use, the screen moves in circles after every play. Its so bad we cant play the app anymore without at least one of us getting a headache before weve each played five times.

We like this game except we play against the computer and there are so many times the computer does not take an obvious play. An example is a play box has 4 fives – the computer will roll a hand containing 3 fives but passes even though the player has no dice in play on the board. What kind of strategy is that.

We would like to see a score keeping option so two players could keep playing the game to see who won the most games.

Wife and we enjoy some mindless time rolling the dice! Low stress, easy to play, there is some strategy occasionally to win, if you get serious.

Im cautious paying for an app as there is no refund if unsatisfied. But this was a game we enjoy at home and the graphics looked good so we took a chance. Its a nice reproduction of the dice game. We like the look of the dice and the option to purchase others, but the ones that come with it are fine. Dont have any complaints with the AI players yet, as we can beat enough of them with good rolls. Our two issues would be these. Although we like the roll sounds the whoosh sound gets annoying quickly. Of course we could turn the sound off but that does away with all sound. We turned off the goofy old times music very quickly. Secondly the more important problem is the Take Back option which as far as we can tell has no setting to remove. This is not a standard part of the physical game so we dont know why its included by default here. Its supposed to be an alternative way to play and our friends and we dont use it ever. Our suggestion is a toggle on any update to use or not use take back in a game.

Enjoyable both on and off the computer.

This is a really good looking implementation of what is ultimately a good, but not great game. Interface is simple to get used to. Sometimes it will feel like the dice are massively stacked against you, which we guess is just part of it being a dice game. Games are short, which is nice.

Time passes by and we keep playing.

We believe one fix would can solve another issue. First l, since Ive had this game, it is difficult to see your held dice/die because of the screen view. Our phone and game are always auto to date, so that is not an issue. We cannot recall the last time the game had an update show up, though. Its really bad when you have four or more die being held. That being said, when we have this issue, we have to turn our screen to landscape mode so we can see which dice are being held. Then the game crashes and we lose the game in progress. Please fix this issue.

Is there ANY skill to this game.

This is a fun game with great graphics and smooth animations. Unfortunately we think more emphasis was put in the graphics than the entropy necessary to truly randomize the dice rolls. As many others have mentioned, you ca man commit to a 6-dice card and spend the rest of the game trying to roll the necessary dice, and the AI will suddenly swipe the card from you in 1-2 rolls. Thats not to say that cant happen if playing this came with physical dice and cards. But not likely with the frequency it happens in this game. If the developers would just replace what they have with some better randomization of the dice, this would be a fantastic game.

The computer inexplicably pulls off near magical moves while the player has a hard time making easy points. Also if the player starts a card, the computer will eventually start and complete that card nearly every time. We truly believe the developer believes this to be a fair game; it is not. No amount of math supports that position. We played the game about a month before deciding to write a review. After more 3 player games (one human and two bots) than we care to count, we have won possibly three times. If you get close to winning the computer will come from no where and win almost every single time.

When we play this on our iPhone 13 Pro (human vs 2 bots), everything works fine until our turn comes up. After rolling the dice, the appstarts spinning the screen orientation as if Im rotating the phone. It rotates 90 degrees, then rotates back, and finally rotates a full 360, even though the phone hasnt moved. It does this regardless of the phones actual orientation. No other game we have does this, but Roll For It does this consistently. It does the same trick (but only the 90 degree spin) when playing it on our iPad. Not recommended.

App hasnt been updated in 4 years and the current version of the app has screen rotation problems where after you roll the screen will rotate from landscape to portrait and vice-versa. Too bad, it was a fun time waster.

Reached out a year ago to no avail. They dont care about the game issues. Right before our turn, the game board flips sideways for a second and turns back (back then). Now it two ways right before our turn. Its very dizzying and super annoying! Either update your game software, or ai guess Ill just delete the game (not that they care).

This game was great, but online doesnt work with the current operating systems.

Too many times we will roll the same combo in a row, like three 1s. Today we rolled a 1 six turns in a row! Im not saying thats impossible, but its highly improbable. Meanwhile the computer players get the dice they need to score points at a much higher rate. Only got this app because it was in a bundle with Tsuro, and we have the physical game at home.

We had numerous issues with the online multiplayer for the game. The first time 4 of us tried to play we ended up creating more than one game. You can't delete the games and they all look the same so its hard to get everyone to join the same one. Had to wait about a week before the games dropped off. We then were careful and created only a single game. Even that is a bit confusing as each player really only joins the game as it becomes their turn. So, if you are player 4, you don't see what players 1-3 did until your first turn. Then, we had lots of problems with the game reporting it was out of sync, crashing, or just losing sync. When you have such issues, you have to rejoin the game and wait for it to replay any recent moves before you can resume your turn, even if you already saw all those moves before. Sometimes that happens in the middle of your turn and you might lose a good roll you had and have to re-roll. Frequently had to tell someone it was their turn so they would know they had to exit out and rejoin. Haven't played against bots so can't comment on that. In general, the game looks good and we are a big fan of the real game, but the multiplayer online is just too frustrating to play. With covid-19 social distancing, 4 of us purchased it hoping to still be able to play, so very disappointing.

We used to love playing this until iOS 16 update. Now every time we roll the screen image rotates/spins on the screen making it too dizzying to play.

It makes us rather sad to write this review Support doesnt seem to want to answer so we feel like this is our only option Hopefully you will read this and care enough to want to reach out! All that being said it used to be one of our favorite games.

Why is there no option to only pull back some dice rather than all of them at once.

We own the physical game and this is a fun way to pass time.

Tutorial was fun and easily understood. Great mix of graphics and gameplay. Am enjoying this one.

We are going to hopefully try to play our wife on this. Well see how easy it is to play someone and then Ill update.

We love this game in real life and its great that we can play on our phone now.

No Thinking, Time Passing, Lots of Laughs with our six year old.

Its fun to play if you can find others to play with AND if they play back. We dont link our Facebook Contacts to game apps, we gotta have us time. The auto-find an opponent is confusing & slow. Open games still waiting on finding anyone.

The game is fun and easy to learn. Navigation controls arent very intuitive despite their simplicity. Several times we ruined a game as we didnt know what a button did. We dropped two stars because the phone version requires you to shake your phone to roll the dice. Wow! What an annoying feature. What about just letting us touch the screen. We found this requirement so annoying and awkward that we deleted the game. We just wont play it. Im sitting in a waiting room and it looks and feels stupid that Im shaking our phone every twenty seconds. Good thing their iPad version allows you to just tap the screen. So, that is where we will play this game. Not this version. Would be five stars because f they just removed this.

Not sure why our first review wasnt posted. However this is a fun game , but we dont understand why you can only play with computer or friends. Come on guys today games are multi player lets get updated. Until then 3 stars.

The dev says the AI rolls are the same as human rolls but just bad luck on the users end. While that may be true there are enough complaints about the AI that the dev should look into it. We too have rolled close to a dozen times or more without hitting what we need to point. Yet, the AI rolls and places two, three, four dice at a time. The score is almost always something ridiculous, too, like 43, 25, 30, and 4 (us). This happens too often for it to be simply bad luck or coincidence. The only thing clever about the AI and the way it plays is that it wont let the human player win. And to those claiming deeper strategy this game isnt rocket science. Strategy cant account for the entirety of the large difference in score totals. Bottom line: needs some adjustments. After sitting with 5 dice on one card for 8+ rolls AI comes in and catches ALL 6 DICE in 4 rolls. Its not a matter of dumbing down the AI. Stop being stubborn and just freaking make the game more fair!!! 47 17 7 0(us) 41 27 20 2(us).

No ingame stats, no win/loss records against cpu but this game sends numbers to Gamecenter… Cmon developers! Seeing our wins/losses against the ai would motive people play this more. And other stats would be nice like avg score, avg winning score, avg losing score, total time played, total rolls. STATS = INCENTIVE TO PLAY MORE, and for us, buy more addons. With no stats, no records, you are not taking advantage of what digital gaming can do for your game.

The AI is predictive and the game does not feel like a random chance game. Update: we stand by the AI being predictable. The actual physical version of roll for it is great the app is boring.

Love the game, very good for a five or ten minute game (or longer lol) while youre waiting. We had some technical issues with the game and they worked with us until we found a way to fix it. A++ for customer support and A++ for game play. Thanks.

Great game Much awaited release Absolutely worth it. Could improve on the battery usage. Not bad. Better battery consumption than Tsuro.

We love this game! The only problem we are having is that no one is really playing. We have 8 games going that we started 3 days ago and only 2 people have played their turn and then nothing. We hope more people start playing cause this is a really great game.

Cant wait to show this to our grandson. What a great way teach numbers & matching.

A fun game that refreshingly different yet challenging.
