The dawn of a new hero!
A thousand years ago, a great battle ensued between two dragons, one gold and the other silver, where they were sealed away. However, the real tale begins many centuries later after the Silver Dragon reawakens, and launches an assault on a frontier village in the far north.
There, a royal knight by the name of Lucas serves as a guard after being relegated to the rural and much isolated location by the King. Yet, little does he know he is, in fact, a descendant of the hero, Alaric, who once sealed the Gold and Silver Dragons in human form. Nonetheless, when tragedy strikes, he soon finds his place, and after teaming up with a band of unlikely companions, sets out on an adventure to save the world.

We know Im late to playing this game, but this is a really good game.
It is a great game so far. Think the plates are a little much though. We probably have over a hundred so far.
Steady paced and well made. Almost no ads. A great gift for people who like games.
Having a lot of fun with this game! Love the old style rpg way this is set up. Took us a second to understand the plates set up by now that we understand them leaves the game that much more open! Love that you dont have to pay to play or run out of energy! We would suggest playing this game!!

This really tickled our itch for an old school final fantasy like game. Kudos to the creators. Can be played in full without paying anything, but they turn up the ads after about 8 hours of gameplay … A fair trade. We wish there was more info about certain mechanics, most notably the jobs / plates system, understanding what skills do before spending to unlock them, and some status effects that arent explained well. None of these issues hindered gameplay, we just couldnt maximize our team as we wanted to. Overall very impressed with this, and will surely look for more from this dev.
We dont write reviews that often but we were coerced. We are very much enjoying the game. It has a great story, solid mechanics that are strategic but not overly complicated, and good pacing. Well done on the game!

This is a great game, we wish the stats (int,spd, etc.) effects were better explained. But it is a great fun game with you getting better and better as time goes on.
We’ve been looking for a fun retro game to play and this game has all the classic elements that we want with some great music and a fairy good battle system and funny dialogue. We recommend it to anyone who loves old school rpgs from the 8-bit/16-bit days.
Very nice game, like the old Nintendo role playing games. If we had rated it in the App Store sooner, could we have avoided the in-game lecture about rating the app? We would have liked it better if rating the app had been made into a quest….
Great game so far, stat growth and jobs are somewhat complex and satisfying but a little hard to fully understand. This game has surprising depth!
This game sets out to be a free version of a NES era Dragon Warrior JRPG clone for the App Store, and succeeds on almost every front. Get it! You wont be sorry. Firstly: yes its actually free. The devs offer purchases, but these are basically super powered cheat items- not necessary to the game in any way. The game plays like a dragon warrior: final fantasy hybrid. The whole experience screams DW, but youll recognize a FF-style job system, and battle interface. Character growth reminds us of FF10. It allows for a lot of freedom in your play style – All your characters could be mages if you want. The control style is very intuitive and is designed for a smart phone, rather than trying to replicate a 90s console controller interface. Point-and-click and deep menus make everything very easy to do. This is actually the games real high point – actually a huge leap forward for this style of 90s JRPG game on smart phone. We hope other emulate it. The writing is pretty cliche (a descendant of the great hero seeks to seal away his ancient dragon opponents… Yadda yadda…). We find myself speeding through a lot of the talky bits. It does, however seek to make that up with a generous amount of self-aware humor. For instance, Im writing this review following a cut scene in which the four protagonists literally got down on their knees and begged us to do so. Its worth remembering that, when you really think about it, there was nothing particularly ground-breaking about Dragon Quest 3s plot (for instance), so having a cliche story is actually well within the genre. Essentially, this is a great way to get that classic console RPG experience on your phone, and much cheaper (free) than the NES and SNES ports Square/Enix is selling. Im about 4 hours in and enjoying it. If you like classic JRPGs, youll enjoy it, too.
We really enjoy this game! Its fun and old school like the games we grew up playing. The characters are quirky and have unique personalities. The controls are very simple and the customization options are nice to have as well.
We love the rpg games you guys make. We have played and beaten all of your others, and we really enjoy the nostalgia of your rpg games. We will play them all!!!

This game is very good game. The story is great and this game is unique in its own way. We thing we really like about this game is that it not pay to play (sure there are in app purchases but they aren’t required to reach the end besides they make the game easier and more experimental with items such as the critical ring, and you can get these items without pay actually money using in game currency that rarely drop from monsters). This game also has a good story involved unlike other rpg’s (specifically idle rpg that other people play instead of a non-idle rpg.) Note Idle Rpg’s can be fun in their own way. It’s a shame that there isn’t much attention for this game. It really has the things you want in a game like this: A good story, slightly customizable controls and repeatability with customizing which hero class you want.

We really didnt expect this game to be so engaging to play but with the missions and finding different plates while customizing your characters classes always leaves you with something to do.

This is the best mobile RPG we played, and the review event was the funniest part of the game. We would recommend this to anybody who is interested in turn based RPGs and strategy games in general. The skill tree like thing spices up the combat to help with skills and other stuff. Not to mention the good story line. Overall a 17/10 definitely.

It plays like a classic rpg, and thats exactly what we were looking for. It has a job change system that reminds us of early Final fantasy games, and the characters all have a believable personality. Honestly, its surprisingly amazing and im looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
The 3DS version was so much better. Can you PLEASE change the amount of Lapis points you get after a battle to 10 please just like the 3DS version? This would make the game SO much more bearable.
We grew up on 8-bit and 16-bit JRPGs like Final Fantasy 1 & 2, DragonQuest, etc. And the dev really nailed this game. Really loving the progression and even humorous character development. Great job!

Great old school ff rpg style game.
Love the game so far. Writing is top notch as well as the leveling and class systems. Only suggestion we would have is to vary up the dungeon design and add more customization to the characters. Items that have more of an impact or some other mechanic. Brings back fond memories of classic rpgs like final fantasy and golden sun.
Very well made rpg for a phone. Blown away by how it performs. Only thing we wish they would change is make it more clear which monster will attack first when you press on it since the icons look the same on the top bar. Besides that perfect game!
