The dawn of a new hero!
A thousand years ago, a great battle ensued between two dragons, one gold and the other silver, where they were sealed away. However, the real tale begins many centuries later after the Silver Dragon reawakens, and launches an assault on a frontier village in the far north.
There, a royal knight by the name of Lucas serves as a guard after being relegated to the rural and much isolated location by the King. Yet, little does he know he is, in fact, a descendant of the hero, Alaric, who once sealed the Gold and Silver Dragons in human form. Nonetheless, when tragedy strikes, he soon finds his place, and after teaming up with a band of unlikely companions, sets out on an adventure to save the world.

We dont write reviews often, but the game is great. The tutorials are useful and we recommend not skipping them because the growth plate system is a little unusual, well worth the money and is unexpectedly deep and customizable character development.
Im honestly enjoying the game alot and we’ve even made a chart of which character gets what class(I of course didnt give melvin any class like idol,celebrity, or superstar) and so far this is the first rpg on our phone we dont feel like dying from boredom. Would recommend.
We have enjoyed the game so much we would love to see the next game come out.

Usually dont leave reviews but the comedic way that it asked for one had us hook line and sinker really enjoying the game so far really nice to have a new rpg to put time into the story so far has kept us enraptured and we’ve really enjoyed the plate system for the job advancements and overall boosting of the stats. This game was very much worth the purchase and we dont regret it at all the thank you very much for making this game appreciate the time and effort it must have took. Looking forward to the rest of the game!!

Old school turn-based rpg, brings back memories of the golden years with our Nintendo and jolt cola. Story is neat so far, The banter between characters is a nice touch to keep things from getting stale. More to come as we delve deeper in!

Thanks Melvin. Youre a scholar and a gentleman :) You can tell if youll like this game from the screenshots, and it plays well and exactly how we hoped it would. Good balance, choices in how to level your characters, and so far the flow has been good as well.
For an iPhone game its really good. Its just the classic RPG we were looking for. Our only gripe is that the leveling up using plates could be explained better early on. Other than that, it has a decent story and the dialogue is fun. Worth the money! Oh, and in case youre worried, the micro transactions in no way impede on the game.
Dragon Lapis is a pretty good game for being on a mobile device. Its in-depth enough to make us want to farm but also not too serious where we would feel overwhelmed. It can be a little corny at times but thats not a game changer for us.
Havent played a good rpg like this in ages. So far doesnt seem to be pay to win yes there are in game purchases but honestly the premium version worth the 5$ 99% of the games claiming to be rpg are dumb city games with no thought or real creativity put into them this game is on tier with the old final fantasy games.
Good throwback to the earlier DQ games, but streamlined for mobile.
Writing a review only because of the comical way they asked for one. Well played. Edit: crazy that there are so few reviews. We guess Ill write a real one. This game is great. Always loved old school rpgs but have played basically all of them and hearing the same story over and over makes them unfun. Having a new (old?) rpg with a fresh new story is amazing to us. The job plates are really cool and allow you a great amount of customization to your characters. Im playing in hard which was kinda a kick in the balls really early in but a bit of grinding in the first cave mellowed it out really quickly. Doesnt help that we skipped all the tutorials and by the time we started using job plates we already had 100+ ep. Dragonite job is awesome, high physical damage combined with damage magic. Way outclasses the old red mage. And its just cooler bc dragons. Story is interesting and dialog is funny. Will make any changes when we beat the game.

We are an old-school gamer, so we love apps like this. We also like playing these with a set of controls that we fine usable. So, we never did like the tap to move here idea, it just makes things too tough – we get more control with a real joypad. There actually IS a real joypad in this game, but it is stuck in the middle of the screen! We have to hold our ipad while playing, and it becomes difficult to do that if we have to stretch our hand across to the middle of the screen the whole time. How hard would it have been to put the joypad on the LEFT? We already know the answer: not very hard at all, because Kemco does this for most of their other games. This one problem makes the game harder to play and less enjoyable. We hope they fix this before we finish playing. We love old-school RPGs too much to not play this one all the way through, but we are really unhappy about this and hope they fix it in the future for other games.
