Find out what gamers are saying about RPG Ghost Sync:

We’ve only played Asdivine Saga before this but Im pretty impressed with the quality. Frame rate is so crisp and we couldnt get over how smooth it was. As stated elsewhere the English translation seems to have been a little underdone here. So far Im just noticing small things like weird phrasing but nothing that pulls us out of the game. Outside of that this game is great and Im seeing good consistency with quality with these Kemco games.

We have played a few of there games, and more or less, they remain consistent with the quality. No doubt some are better than the rest, however, we will focus on this one. There are pros and cons naturally, but we dont find the cons intrusive enough to knock out a star. So let us see what benefit to well, not benefits are. Pros 1. Fast and immersive battle system. 2. Nice smaller puzzles. 3. Pretty wide open world. 4. Smaller attention to details, such as speaking with others. 5. Good character interactions. 6. Frame rates are pretty good in all reality. 7. Much more easy to play than the other games. By that we mean, the rest of the games even when paying for it. It still felt like we had to pay something extra, this one we dont have that feeling. 8. Stat building. Cons 1. Arena is kinda weak in comparison to the rest of the games, not too much of an issue, since we did not like the system much anyway. 2. Story is a bit rushed, and characters are perhaps a bit too direct. 3. Skill tree is far too long, and pretty pointless. We havent even filled out the magic tree, let alone all of Bernards skills. Sometimes, it is best to limit. 4. Translations seems a bit off. Honestly, due to how bad the last game we played on switch. We are totally letting this slide. At least you showed effort in doing the translations. Other than those issues, no problems at all. These arent worth taking off stars, since we see all of the effort going into it. Even though the story seems a bit rushed, we still enjoy the characters, and the quirkiness of it all. It even has a deeper tone to it really. Great job, and consider the cons here to make the next game better. Adding on a bit more, we gotta say. We love the endings of the game. Not a perfect game for sure, but deserving of a 5 star given how much terrible games are on the App Store. So, we guess ya kinda win by default.

EXE Create is a company that enjoys going for gimmicks in their mass-produced RPGs. In this case, the gimmick of this RPG has you in control of a mysterious ghostly man who has the ability to possess monsters and spirits he gains access to over the course of the story. There is also the summoning of spirits to help you in combat and gain access to special skills, but that gets unlocked quite a few hours in. The story itself is fairly interesting, with the main four each having their own secrets, some of which they arent aware about until they go on their journey to deal with the black aura seeping out of the earth. Although, the characterization leaves some to be desired. For one, a certain antagonists motives dont really justify their actions. Later on, were expected to be sorry for them, even though they seemed maniacal and eager to perform such immoral acts. There is also what seems to be a sequel hook at the end of the games canon ending, as its implied one antagonist has allies that we havent met yet. The combat itself is fairly standard for an EXE Create game, with the exception of the possession and summoning mechanics mentioned before. As for the other elements of gameplay, the gacha in the form of crafting isnt really necessary to complete the game and even beat the games hardest bosses at absurdly high levels. To remedy being stuck on a boss or certain dungeon, one can simply grind, preferably while completing each of the stars in their bestiary in order to receive free items and sometimes equipment. The postgame is perhaps the biggest flaw of the game for us. The game allows you go up to Level 999, yet the hardest boss in the game can simply be beaten at Level 550 or even lower if you have a good strategy and maintain stat buffs on your team and stat decreases on the boss. The hardest regions in the game only have enemies that go up to Level 700, resulting in a content drought for those in the level 550-999 range. The addition of more hidden arena bosses, more dungeons beyond the sole true ending dungeon, and even a hidden superboss like other EXE Create games have done could remedy this content drought. Guild donations beyond rank S are also essentially pointless, as the rewards only grant you gear without bonuses, when at that point you have gear that has excellent bonuses, some with even better defense stats than the rewards. Tl;dr combat is sometimes pretty fun and the story is alright. Postgame leaves a LOT to be desired.

We’ve been buying your games for years and this is the first we havent really been happy with your English translation. Its not horrible by any means but the drop in quality is definitely noticeable.

Game is fun but there is a lot that needs fixed. This is the first time we’ve written a real review, it means that much the pacing is horrible. You start off slow and weak, we were level 8 or so when we got to our first dungeon, 25 by the time we got out. From then on, 90% of our fights were auto win without even seeing the monsters. $0 spent you never get to really use your skills till the last 25% of the game because they cost so much mana youre out after 2 or 3 casts. You will be auto-fighting most of your fights most things are NOT explained well. We had no idea how to use Strengthen and thought you had to have weapons of the same name and level. Lets not even talk about adding abilities. Some weapons can eat some other weapons but not all.. Why? Our sylph sword cannot eat an elemenal sword. Why? We have 1.5 million gold but the weapons we buy we cant use to improve our weapons status screen.. We cant even see our heroes levels and stats unless we go into equipement. Why even out their health on the main screen then? Monsters stats and levels and such, bames and things, dont even exist in the battle screen Bernard. Awesome concept, horrible execution. You can spend all his red and blue stones to buy and upgrade skills but then when he possesses a monster.. Its for no reason at all. Then you cant even just unpossess a monster to go back to his base form. WHY?
