Love the old school, 2D style of gameplay. Im old enough we go back to the very beginning of computer games. Only knock would be to request addition of another element to the game. Perhaps puzzles to solve? Have thoroughly enjoyed playing! Would love to see a version III!

Dont know what happened to the developer, but this game deserves to be a trilogy! The first game seemed a proof of concept idea that borrowed from JRPGs like Dragon Warrior. The sequel expands on that with new areas and plenty of references to the first game. Its a very old school type of rpg, and we had a lot of fun with it!

Even the game is old but it better than an fake ads mobile game.

Just finished the game after a few weeks, very satisfied yet sad at the same time because we love this game.

We love this game definitely deserves 5 stars. If it were possible to give more stars than 5 we would in a heartbeat. Words can’t describe how fun and addicting this game is. 5/5.

Goes to prove that you dont need amazing graphics to have fun.

This is not a game that will amaze you with impressive graphics or dramatic scenery. This is a game of reminds us of when role playing video games were very basic but still provide a strong sense of adventure, level progression and weapon/armor improvement. This version had enough levels that kept it interesting, and a few twists that help to make it feel like a unique game.

If you like RPGs that are simple, this game is near perfect. If you aren’t into the traditional RPG format, this isn’t for you.

Old school RPG, like 16 bit console. Much bigger and better than the original. Expect lots of exploring, leveling, raising gold to advance just like all the classics. Make more!

Refreshing to play an RPG w/o the graphics and just focus on the core of an RPG. This game was very fun and the upgrades made since the first saga were on point: map function, treasures, more maps, hints from townsfolk, etc. Hope to see a new version come out soon!

Fun and simple rpg reminiscent of the old 8-bits on NES. We thought it was going to be short but the story unfolds into a lengthy adventure with complex maps and good variety. Definitely worth an avid rpg’ers time!

It takes us back to the good old days of rpg’s.

What a great game! Just the throwback we were looking for. Reminded us of Ultima. Would love to see more of these.

Us and our friends James and Edward play this game all the time it is a blast.

Great job guys. Amazing game all together. We loved the first one even though it was short but you definitely heard all our comments and this second one was awesome. There are 3 main story lines that follow one another and each one more challenging and fun then the other. The characters in the game are much stronger this time even though sometimes we feel that they didnt need to be that strong but it pushes you to go with the story and to the next progression instead of keep grinding. Sometime you have to grind a lot to level up though but still worth the effort. Loved it all together so keep up with the good work.

If you love the old RPG games, this is well worth your time!

That said, there’s waaaay too much grinding and the left and right buttons need to be bigger while the Save and Quit buttons need to be correspondingly smaller. Still a fun throwback to original Nintendo days and a nice homage to Dragon Warrior.

We played the first and was disappointed with the shortness of the game but then we played the second and we were like wow!

Played and finished the first sage rpg and loved it. Just now starting this one. Get it.

On vacation and the game is the perfect way to pass the time while our family is asleep. Five stars and can’t wait for the sequel.

Graphics: Great retro style! It might be interesting for the character’s sword or apparel to change slightly in a future game when equipping with new weapons. Audio: N/A The lack of music didn’t bother us at all, but we do really enjoy the original Nintendo-style music. This could be a neat touch in a future game (although of course you don’t want to lose the unique feel) Story: we loved the story elements (Especially the throwback to the dragon at the lake! That was hilarious!) There was continuity with the first story, with several fun throwbacks. The only thing that threw us was that everyone was begging to be rescued from the skeleton king… But that wasn’t the last bad guy. That had us confused for a while Other: The addition of a map to show where you had been was very helpful, due to the larger areas. The three-chapter length was good. The ability to wander around the world after beating the game is extra fun! One last suggestion would be allowing the player to save a few different games. (That way you could start a new game without losing your finished game)

It is well worth your time. We played the first and was disappointed at how short it was. However this sequel is much longer and much more challenging. As you level up the monsters experience points they give you go down, forcing you to advance to the next area making it more challenging. There is more story involved and repeating areas that catch you off guard with stronger monsters. This version has the advantage of potions, a exp counter letting you know how far till you level up, and a map that clears as you explore new areas. Our only complaint is that there is no sound. This is a 10/10 in our book for casual rpg gaming. No dailies forcing you to play everyday, no timers, just plain casual but still challenging. Will continue playing and looking for new sequels or new games from these developers!!!

We really like this game, and we think it has potential, but the one thing that bugs us is animation. There is literally no animation. Please add at least some movement animation in a future update.

This game is a blast! We played through the first one and had to download the 2nd immediately we’re coming back after two years wondering when you’ll make another?

Great game just like we remember them! Love most everything about this game, we’ve accidentally got rid of so many potions twice because the controls are all to small and close together- didnt even know we dumped them until we were well traveled and needed them -the ad right above the up button – cmon lol – but good game thanks.

Fun grinding Role playing game. Difficulty ramps up to make it a bit grindy, but still easy to pick up and play like a mobile game should be. Basic attack only. No spells or abilities. Explore. Hit up towns for gear and items. Id definitely play a sequel that expands the gameplay. On the right track, but needs more to be a really good RPG. Looking forward to more.

We like the game. It reminds a lot of classic computer RPG’s there is a lot of grinding, which we guess is somewhat typical for this type of game, and it doesn’t seem that buying armor does much if anything for you. But, hey it’s free it’s and it’s entertaining.

This game was really refreshing for us. It has a simple story line and simple mechanics, which is not a bad thing. There are some things that we can nitpick but what game can’t you nitpick over. Overall a well made game.

This is a fun little retro rpg that you can get for free. We highly recommend trying it and we hope to see more work like this in the future. Great game.

Highly recommend for simple RPGs. Would love to see new missions/tasks. Use same map just unlock caves/forests/lake island – plenty of room in there. Well done!

In our youth we played a game called Dragon wear for the Nintendo was an awesome game back then and to be able to play a game so much like it on our phone is completely awesome. We will tell you that there’s not many hints given on certain things especially the end but if you had played these type of games back in the day you will know it was pretty much the exact same way.

This game was classic, simple, and a lot of fun. We are looking forward to Saga rpg 3.

One of our favorite games growing up was Castle Of The Wind. We would love to find a way play that game again. This game is similar but much more basic. We would like to see the creators of this game look up COTW and incorporate some of their ideas.

Basically the same as skyrim but better graphics. Make another.

We enjoyed playing this very much!!!

Great game for free- lots of level building and the clues weren’t as well laid out as preferred but overall great game, especially for free.

Still needs feature to continue moving in s given direction without having to repeatedly tap the button. Also recommend making the castle smaller. Kind of a pain having to move long distances to find shops. Otherwise, it’s a great tiny game; keep evolving!!

Played the prequel and loved it (even though it was far too short) so we expected this game to continue the tradition. This game is very disappointing however. Your character seems to always be too weak to venture far from town so you have to spend virtually all of your time grinding until you have the experience, weapon, armor and shield to (barely) make the journey to the next town. Then rinse, repeat. And it is very unbalanced: when you need gold, the enemies don’t give enough; when you need exp, they’re stingy with that too; and when you finally do advance, the next level, weapon or armor doesn’t seem to make much difference.

We waited forever for #2 make the third please we check App Store every week Please hurry! We really want a more improved game we love it.

Great 8 bit rpg. Love this style of game.

Played the first recently and then immediately got the 2nd. We’re a huge fan of old style RPGs. Please keep cranking em’ out:)

If you liked the "Dragon Warrior" games you will like this game. It works just like it. We’re glade you made it. We would pay for a much fuller version of it.

A really great old-school RPG. Totally worth checking out for RPG fans!

Overall a great game for the price of free. Good old school rpg feel and great for wasting time. Speaking of time, it’s a long game. This is good and bad: Makes you walk through the game’s entirety (without upgrading bad guy strength but they still fight you just as often) twice, and there are several places where you can’t progress without some major experience-grinding (which can get really boring). Also – the bosses seem to be bugged; they never did any damage.

…a ridiculous requirement to trek back to the beginning of the game in order to pick up the needed final gear. Yes, that’s like 20 minutes of constant tapping to traverse the new world and the one from Saga RPG 1 all the while having to run from or fight weak worthless monsters. Avoid!

Great sequel. (Play Saga RPG First Blade if you haven’t already). This is not about high tech graphics; it’s a retro romp in an old style rpg like you played back in the 80s. Very nostalgic and a lot of fun.
