User Reviews on Salt Mine Escape

It was difficult to get the items you obtained to work to retrieve more items. We had to use the axe and the pick axe over and over again in the same spot for it to be effective. It was frustrating, otherwise we would have given this game 4 stars. Peaches: you have to do more than put the key in the gate to get it to open.

Key went into gate and doesn’t open.

Just tap click drag use clues everywhere from inventory list because you never know where it’s needed!

On this game, there are few parts where interactive items have to be used without zooming in on an area. Which means, you have to keep dragging and dropping your inventory items and hope you get lucky enough that you’re in the right area. For example- the pickaxe has to be used. But there’s no zooming in. And no obvious target. So you have no idea where to use the pickaxe. So you end up having to drag and drop the axe in every square inch of every scene. Turns out there’s a piece of ceiling that is supposed to be axed. Odd place for an ax. (This is also an issue in this game as well as others where a ladder is in inventory… And there’s no clue where to place it. So again, drag and drop dozens of times in each scene hoping to get lucky.) Just wanted to leave this feedback because we’re hoping the developer takes suggestions to improve their games. These escape games are our favorite. And little issues like we’ve described can really ruin a game. Thanks developers!
