Samurai: Way of the Warrior was featured in Best Games of 2009 by Apple – Samurai II is a true successor, aided by over a year of focused development. Overall production values and vicious action put Samurai II on par with console 3D brawlers. Screenshots don’t do Samurai II justice – the fluid action has to be seen running at 60 frames per second on the Retina display or popping off the iPad screen.

We love this game ever since it released. We honestly wish the first one is still here, so we can experience it like its 2009.
Make more like this no in app purchases buy once play . We have had this since it first came out we would like the originals back but this game is fun great for old dudes.
So glad its still here, this is the 2nd title Ive played from MFG (MadFinger Games) with the original Shadowgun campaign being the first. With MFG phasing out SG/SG:DZ a while back, we had no hope for their other titles like Dead Trigger and of course Samurai 2. Samurai 2 is a %100 premium game, they really dont make it like this anymore, combos, comics, the cartoony yet realistic graphics are just some of the things you will find in this game. In our opinion it is worth every cent, and you should really take advantage of this game cause its one of the premium titles you possibly wont see again. We know MFG no longer has an interest in the mobile community, but man really wish they stayed. Unsure if DECA is a studio part of MFG, but just glad a mobile classic like this still exist.
We downloaded this game in 2010 and it stands the test of time. Simple gameplay, gorgeous design & animation and NO ads!! Both games in this series were so fun to play. Just played this one through again this morning. Would love a third installment even if it meant paying for a full game. This game really exemplifies what mobile, casual gaming could be before the awful freemium model. Thanks to the devs for keeping this game up to date with iOS, 14 years later.

When fighting the Orochi, after a rolling to his leg, we cant leave from his leg and he lies on the groud. But he is not death, he can still attack. We love this game, but the enemies and boss are not enough. Hope there will be the samurai 3. We enjoy the critical one hit kill, maybe this game can be also named Fruit Samurai.
We bought the game but beat it already can we please like please get an update.

After SOOO many years since it came out, this still remains the best game from Madfinger Software and also the best samurai game in AppStore.
Game has very fluid combat and everything is easy to see. Plays great on iPhone.

This game is from the golden age of the app market. You pay one price and you get one great game. And this is one of the best. If this game was made today it would be casino style with a bunch of terrible spin and win games scattered throughout and a constant barrage of them trying to sell you coins or xp or something. Started this game in 2011 and we're just replaying it now and realizing how great gaming could be on a phone if money hadn't ruined it.
If youll looking for a great hack n slash youve found it! We love the combos and the upgrades are rewarding.
That needs to be filled sometime. But we don't know how. Other then that this game is great.

The game crashes when we try dojo challenge.
When we enter dojo mode, its always crashed.
Maybe Ill change our rating if this EVER gets fixed.
Good overall, when we click dojo the game crashes. (Update) keeps crashing in game as well and cant proceed in the story.
The samurai sword is a weapon of war and death add in some artefacts such as the armour of legends and the blade of dragons anyway thats it mc wolf out.

We been a fan of the " samurai" series by mad finger games ever since the first one came out. We loved samurai vengeance 2 but we been waiting for a LONG time for Samurai 3 to come out and it has been MANY years and still no samurai 3 Please make Samurai 3! Thank you.

Ok devs. Who are you? And what possessed you to hurl this kind of awesomness (word?) at us this far after the last update?! Whatever it is, keep it up! We've always told people this was a top 5 of all time App Store game, and this update catapulted it to number 1 in our book. Satisfying combat, good enemy mixing, brilliant pacing, and AMAZING visuals. 60fps was a nice touch. Anyway, thanks and PLEASE give us Samurai THREE.

How in the heck do you unlock the fourth level. First time we played through only 1 and two unlocked. Next time we got to level three. No explanation of how to unlock or why it's locked. We bought the game, what gives.
Great game, when it works. It keeps crashing on our iPad Air. Beautiful graphics and gameplay, but it's pretty meaningless if it won't load. Please update :(.

This is one of those anes that never leaves mi iOS devices. This is our favorite combat system on iOS ever. If anything, with that cliffhanger in the end, we want Samurai III, a premium game that isnt full of IAP, please make it happen :).

If you make another samurai game (which we would really want), please add swords to the combo shop. Also, you should implement multiplayer death matches or co-op. It would be great to fight others.
Love this game. Would like more combat moves. Would also like more enemies to make us feel like a one man army. Make another game where samurai escapes from hell. Fix these changes and this app will be perfect. :).
Nice graphics and gameplay. Very addicted and lovely, worth 3$.
We Would love if you can add in a future update, different element style jutsu and can pick only one style element jutsu to use the whole game. But you upgrade that just like your combos and you manipulate the element you've picked in different ways.
Finally got the game to work but you have to play on apprentice.
This game great action along with amazing visuals! No regrets spending our.
OMG Love it you can cut people in half and all types of stuff it is very great game for the money . Can see how some say it gets repetitious but it is challenging and for $3 it is hard to beat very good game five star for sure. We must say we played the free dojo game and was like we have to buy it so they pretty much let you try it for free as well needless to say we bought shadowgun as well.
